Try the original charger or another cable or another charger. I had this issue on other phones with a 5 in 1 charger (it was bleeding power all over). If that fails try to carefully clean the usb port, and if that fails consider taking it to a waranty to be replaced. But it's most likely the charger.

For the last 2 nights, my Nexus 5 has managed to lose power in stead of charging, see screenshot. I have no idea why the battery is draining when it is supposed to be charging. Also the phone is getting quite warm (about 40 degrees or higher).
Please give me a hint how I can solve this.

It could possibly be Kernel related. try flashing Stock kernel and see if the issue still exists

Thanks, I'll give that a try.
Brings me to the following question: how come that when I use the charging cable that came with the phone, batterystats show Charging AC, and when I use the same cable but with an USB extension cord, the stats show Charging USB? Could that be the faulty cable?
I have no other extension cable at hand now,so... Maybe somebody could try this as well?

Kernal issue try going back to stock
Went back to stock kernel and did a factory reset. That solved the problem.

Solved until today. Again, no charging when connected. Bummer. Starting all over again with testing.

How about a custom kernel with fast charge? Are you using the stock wall adapter and USB cable? Their outputs matter

If everything fails, flash stock back on... See if it still does it. If it does, its cord, charger or USB port is damaged and loose.
Hey Good day.
Has anyone tried using a Qi receiver with a case. Would love to know about your experience if its any good? And which products you guys used.
Hi. I've got this one with a normal slim case: http://s.aliexpress.com/IfuQnquQ
It works well, although the qi adapter is a bit too long so I had to improvise a little.

Does this make it so you can't plug anything else into the USB C port then while using this charging pad? Like if I needed to quick charge my phone I wouldn't be able to without unplugging the charging pad first? Or is it a pass-through port?

Nope - if you need to use the USB C socket for something else, you will need to unplug the wireless receiver pad first.
Sorry - Pain, I know.

No problem, I thought that was the case. Was just curious. Thanks for the info though!
How fast does it charge? Would it charge say low % (10-20%) to 100% over a 6-8 hour night on the charging pad?

That's probably a fair estimate. I gave up using it when I started to need my USBC socket more than the wireless.

I have multiple charging pads around the house and office so I never really had it get very low. But those estimates seem pretty close to what I would expect. It is a pain to pull it out though so I go through phases, I'll have it on for a while then I take it off.

Hi All.
I have a slow charge message with every charger I put in. I have tried a factory reset and tried to clean the port. Any other suggestions. Really don't want to send it away to HTC support.
Thanks
Daz

Do you have some problems of fast battery drain too ?
I had this problem with my old U11 and it came from a faulty USB port...

Not sure. I've only had this message from today and it didn't charge properly overnight. It doesn't appear to be draining but guess too early to tell.

Did you try another cable? Maybe that is whats broken.

I have also had the "slow charging" message with the standard charger and cable. I wouldn't worry too much about this, as long as your phone is charging reasonably quickly (in fact, I often charge my phone *really* slowly using my PC USB port whilst I am at work).
I bought a new charger to keep at home with spare cables, too. They charge very rapidly (50% in 30 minutes or so) and I would definitely recommend them:
Spigen Qualcomm 3.0 charger

Volutz USB C cables

Hope this helps,
Steve
Anybody knows how safe it would be to charge the U11+ with the original charger for the Nexus 6P?
Thank you in advance
I thought the ZenFone 6 was a capable of being fast charged but it takes much longer than I expected.
Does anyone know what is causing this? Perhaps I overlooked some setting..

Judging from that screenshot it isn't fast charging. Are you using the charger it came with? Did u try replugging it in? Try a different outlet
When it's quick charging it has 2 plus signs inside of the battery and will say fast charging

EDIT: The problem is back again. For some weird reason the MacBook Pro charger at my work seems to be the only one that's capable of quick charging my device. No other quick charger does.
Either way the phone shows its capable of fast charging albeit with a foreign cable so I'm not sure whether to send it for repair or wait for an update...
