Guide [Root]ing the [T230NU] for DUMMIES (Galaxy Tab 4 7.0)

1. To start off, make sure your tablet's battery is fully charged.
2. Download the 'T230NU Root Kit' & 'Samsung USB Driver' files to your PC & extract them.
3. Locate the 'Samsung USB Driver' file and install it on your PC.
4. In your Tablet go into Settings/General, scroll down and click on 'About device'. Look for where it says 'Build number', you need to TAP that continuously until it says 'Developer mode has been turned on'. You should now see 'Developer options' on top of 'About device', click it and checkmark 'USB Debugging'.
5. Connect the tablet to your PC with the USB cable.
6. In your PC locate the 'UPDATE-SuperSU-v2.46' file and copy it to your Tablet (Root directory of your tablet is fine or place it anywhere you want, remember the location and DO NOT EXTRACT IT, just copy it as it is).
7. Disconnect the tablet from your PC & power it off.
8. Put your Tablet into 'Download Mode' (push all these three buttons at the same time; Power/VolumeDOWN/Home) As soon as you see letters on the screen IMMEDIATELY hit the 'VolumeUP' button while letting go of the other three buttons). If you did it right, it should now say 'Downloading...', if not then power it off and try again.
9. Connect the tablet to your PC with the USB cable.
10. In your PC locate the 'Odin3 v3.09' file, right click it and choose 'Run as administrator'. Once the program opens it should automatically detect your tablet--it should say 'Added!!' under Message. Now click on the button that says 'BL' and locate the 'openrecovery-twrp-2.8.0.1-degas' file, select it and click open. Make sure to uncheck 'Auto-Reboot' and then click 'Start'. When it's done you should see the word RESET in blue on top & it should say 'RES OK!!' under message.
11. Disconnect the tablet from your PC & power it off by holding down the power button for at least 10 seconds.
12. Now that your tablet is off, go into 'Recovery Mode' (push all these three buttons at the same time; Power/VolumeUP/Home) As soon as the Samsung logo comes up let go of ONLY the power button, then as soon as you see the 'Teamwin' logo IMMEDIATELY let go of the other two buttons. If you did it right then you should now be inside the 'Teamwin' program, if not and your device booted up normally then you need to try again starting from step #7.
13. Click on 'Install' and locate the 'UPDATE-SuperSU-v2.46' file--depending on where you saved it in your tablet on step #6, now at the bottom where it says 'Swipe to Confirm Flash' swipe it to the right, wait until it is done flashing and then choose 'Reboot System'.
14. Before you start jumping for joy, lets first check for Root status (once your tablet boots up, go to the play store and download an app called 'Root Check',
install it, open it & it should say that your device is 'ROOTED').
15. Congratulations! You now have full control of your device.
Are you aware this is now the third how-to-root guide thread made for this exact method, for this model?

You can check the uninstall option in superSu app or Re-install your firmware(or install any rom). I also think there might be some kind of superSu-uninstaller script/app somewhere in forums.

Samsung Galaxy Core Prime FRP Unlocks

Hey all, I have been attempting to unlock several Android smartphones from their FRP locks over the past few months. I have researched different methods and discovered that each model pretty much uses its own method. Here are a few methods that worked for me with the Galaxy Core Prime. You may have to try each of them to find one that works. All of these methods will remove the Google and/or Samsung account and allow the phone to work.
Method #1: Simple and Fast
Pre-requisites:
Sidesync installed on PC
Settings. apk downloaded to PC (from Rootjunky)
Micro-usb cable
Reset Galaxy Core Prime
1. Download and start Sidesync on PC (free program, Google it)
2. Go through settings to the Verify your account screen
3. Plug in phone to PC
4. When prompted, open with Google Apps
5. On your computer, move Settings.apk to the phone's storage
6. Search for ES File Explorer in Galaxy App Store and download
7. Log in with Samsung account (you can create one if you need to)
8. Click and load file in ES File Explorer
9. Allow Unknown Sources
10. Install Settings. apk on device
11. Factory Data Reset in Settings app
12. Phone will reset itself without any account attached to it.
*****
Method #2: 25 Steps
ONLY WORKS ON:

2. On Wi-Fi selection screen, select your personal hotspot (use another phone so you can easily disconnect it)
3. Click Next, agree to Terms & Conditions then go through to Verify Account screen
4. Click back arrow to Terms & Conditions and agree, then switch off hotspot during Checking Connection…
5. Screen says Couldn’t Sign in, click Next, Next, then set a screen lock (PIN works great)
6. Confirm PIN and tap Done
7. Tap Next to show content and tap Next through Google Services
8. On language screen, restart the phone
9. Now, swipe up from the bottom left on the phone icon and enter in your PIN, click OK
10. Click Contacts, Create, Ok (do not Add New Account), enter a name, click Add Another Field, Web Address, and enter in any website.
11. Click Save
12. Go to Contacts, click on your recently added contact and tap web address, open in Google Chrome
13. Accept & Continue, No Thanks
14. Turn on your personal hotspot to connect to the Internet
15. Search Google for “bypass FRP apk” and click the first result, it should be for androidhost.
16. Click Download at the bottom of the page
17. Click Share, then OneNote (this will take you to the Galaxy Apps Store)
18. Tap magnifying glass icon and search for ES File Explorer
19. Download the first result. It will prompt you to sign into your Samsung account

I applaud your detailed description of how to do things. I spend hours last month to root my phone until i realized that almost all guides were flawed... One comment. You can optimize the description for easier reading cause there is a lot of excess info but other than that Well Done! This topic should be pinned somewhere
