Check the first post of the MIUI thread.
As far as I can see MIUI.US does not have an Infuse ROM for MIUI. Which one did you flash :O
the galaxy s miui rom has been ported to the infuse independently.
op, any custom kernel on the forum eliminates 3e (stock) recovery. if you mean blue cwm then that's another story.
I would like to thank everyone for help, u all have been great and I have found what u was looking for!!

My solution is odin3 the official rom and then root and 3e.

Hi. I just read a few guides since I don't know how this phone works that well, but as far as I am concerned, you would have to first install a rom or kernel with CWM 5 or higher, not 6. So there are ROMS on gingerbreaed that have this... But just to be safe, i would install cm7.... Look at this http://forum.xda-developers.com/wiki/Samsung_Galaxy_S/SGH-T959V/Installing_a_ROM
Your best bet is to use a 1click like eollie's 1 click with a modded kernel that has cwm built in, first link in the 2nd post here
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1358498
Once you flash that, you will have cwm, which you can then use to flash any variation of ICS. You might need to be on ICS then go to JB, depends on the ROM but most will let you go straight from the cwm that the above link to the new ROM.
If you don't need GPS, don't mind small bugs, etc, then there are several JB's out there.
If you want GPS, good battery life, stability, etc, then try ultragen and the kernel linked in my sig.
Just flash Fluidification's CM10.1 Aries. I flashed it from 2.3.6 stock with CWM 5.0 2 8 and it automatically updated me to 6.0.2.8 at the beginning of the flashing process. Hope i helped!

I rooted my 6045O last night and I'm excited to try a ROM on this phone. I seen the big thread on the CyanogenMod 12.1 http://forum.xda-developers.com/ido...om-cyanogenmod-12-1-alcatel-onetouch-t3225533
But I wanna make sure it's the best ROM for this phone.
you cant read idol 3 section?
Wow thanks for being friendly to the new guy. As I stated, I seen the big thread on the CyanogenMod 12.1. Just wanted to make sure there wasn't a better ROM that you guys might know of before I put time into learning about that one.

I'm not for sure either.great work on all though.I'm leaning toward the dcz rom cause from my understanding its fast, smooth and I like stock style roms.
I didn't see a DCZ thread?
Sent from my 6045O using Tapatalk
If you gonna flash a ROM know that besides dcz, only fully working ROM is cm12.1 also I'm using 60450
Ok so those are my options. Thanks. Do you know any pros/cons of one vs the other?

Well do you want stock ROM with overclock kernel(DCZ) vs the beauty and customization of cyanogenmod?
All dcz rom is a almost fully debloated stock ROM and custom kernel made by team adrv.

If the stock rom did not have such lag I'd suggest the majority stick with it unless you had a specific reason not to. Since it DOES have lag, I'd suggest the i806/DCZ rom since it is a version of stock that should eliminate the lag and work fully with the hardware. All the other rom's have issues of one type or another.
Resurrection Remix still has several things wrong..the camera off the top of my head. CM12.1 still has issues. Currently the cm12.1 dev does not have the device in hand...neither does the resurrection remix dev....working on rom's without the device is similar to driving blindfolded. You are guaranteed to get SOMEWHERE but it may not be where you want to be.
There are only 3 real roms available other than original stock and I HIGHLY recommend you backup your stock with twrp so you can go back to it for system updates. Why are the system updates so important if you are on another rom? They are the only way you can get modem driver mods/improvements among other things.
I'm not sure which I'd prefer at the moment. Guess I'll just read lol

Cm 12.1 (10/29) is most stable on my idol 3 (6045i). Resurrection Remix is not stable. Random reboots, lag and speakers and cam don't work.

Thanks for the tips. I do like performance and stability over anything. So I'll check out DCZ. I've already backed up stock.

You need to Odin stock marshmallow for your variant then reroot, Odin recovery, and flash your rom of choice then kernel again...make sure you're aware of the differences between beta ux-based roms, and roms based on officially supported firmwares...it doesn't sound like you're a person who needs to be dealing with the bugs and installation/compatibility issues associated with getting grace ux roms running properly on your device. I would stick with roms that are still based on traditional tw....do some reading and research the state of software affairs for our devices and gain some knowledge and understanding then try the "latest and greatest"...until then I'd recommend using TEKHD's roms or Dr.ketan's or Jovy23's....all of which you'll find with a simple search....

Dude you can't just flash anything. First that's a lollipop rom not a marshmallow one, second is not for your device, third is an old old lollipop version even for being lollipop...I'm sure i could find more problems with this if i look. It's clear you have no idea what you're doing and is digest putting it down and READING for about a month, then pick it back up when you have some clue...the truth is out there...but you're going to brick your device if you keep just flashing stuff...
