Before I flashed the CM7 - 7.0.3.1 Supersonic ROM, I had great signal. I was then told to flash the latest Evo Radio which I did. Still getting low signal and sometimes no signal at all.
Any help would greatly be appreciated.
Are you basing this off of the "signal" bars? If so those represent data strength, not phone/reception.
signal low
So what could I possibly do to resolve this problem with this ROM for more strength
any aosp rom that has wifi calling for the htc one s?
or any other radio I could try that has a slight bump in signal ? 0.16.31501S.16_2_10.22.31501S.10L
signal at home is terrible
No Wifi calling for any AOSP rom since they are all based on CM which doesn't have it (yet).
Just curious to know if any of them support LTE? If so, do any display LTE when connected to LTE, and 4G when connected to HSPA+?
4G always means LTE on aosp roms, H means HSPA+. they only aosp roms that didn't work well wtih lte were ics based aosp roms, all jb based aosp roms lte works fine.

Untrue, this varies from ROM to ROM. Generally 4G means LTE on our AOSP ROMs, but there are some with modded network indicators that show LTE when it's available. Also depending on the ROM, you'll see both H and H+, which refer to HSDPA and HSPA+, respectively.
Most importantly, yes, any mature ROM in the One X forums will support all network types that the phone supports.

Just purchased my M8 and moving over from an iphone 5s. It seems as though there reception is noticeably worse with the m8 versus my iphone. I have updated to the current version of the radios (baseband version 1.09.20.0702). Are there any other tweaks out there that can improve reception on the phone. I am rooted and s-off, but on the stock 4.4.3
Thanks
What is the signal strength ? Can you compare with a different phone at the same location. Did you upgrade the firmware or only the radios?
Are you also only going by just signal bars or looking at the rssi values

I am going by the fact that my iphone was solid on 4g and the m8 is flip flopping from 3g to 4g. It is killing the battery when I am at home. I will have to check the actual signal strength tonight. Also, I am on the latest firmware, I think (2.21.605.2)

Allegedly the new radios are supposed to help maintain better lte connections
I have a serious issue after upgrading to lollipop. After flashing the CM12 nightlies and a custom lollipop rom. I could not get LTE signal and my data connection will keep switching between H and H+ with frequent disconnections and loss of signal (exclamation mark).
However when I flashed the O5Q kitkat modem + proximity sensor fix, my LTE signal came back stable with no more disconnections or loss of signal.
Weird issue I must say. It seems like the network I'm using isn't compatible with the CM12 nightlies modems.
Anyone else encounter this issue?
