So I want to create an android reward app. Almost all such apps use sdks from the ad networks, but what if I want to integrate a network, that hasn't got any sdk but only postbacks?
Which services/softwares/tools do I need to
a) receive postbacks to track conversions
b) make a points system
c) store the data

I have over 20 years programming experience on windows and I need to develop an android app for a customer.
I need to teach myself how to write android apps. I will need to have a local data store on the device and I will need to use PUSH to communicate with a web service for data update, data download, and transaction transfer.
Where is the best location for programming instructions to write an app for Android?

Hello, actually the best place to start learning is at this: Android Developers. There has multiple documents and Get Started to start learning about developing android.
I was looking for a phone today that allows me to hide the settings app (so the child can't get access to his phone number to pass around to questionable people) and limit his contact list to numbers I set up for him to call. I couldn't find a phone that does this, so I was wondering if it could be possible to create an app / hack for Windows Phone 8 to allow these restrictions? I use Visual Studio for my daily development, and would that be enough to accomplish this task, or would I need more sophisticated tools?

We have a mobile app on Android and we are now looking to promote this through Google and Facebook. In order to track the clicks and conversions we obviously need to integrate their SDKs in our mobile app.
However are concerned about our data privacy and therefore we are trying to find out the following:
1. How does SDK work?
2. Do leading players like Google and Facebook collect app usage data through their SDks?
3. If so what kind of data do they collect?

Hello, I'm new in this forum and I cannot make thread in develop section... I have two questions:
1. What are the options to save settings in app? I mean simple settings like "don't show message on next startup" or simple informations for example sound on/off, last five highest hi score in game etc. I read about the possibility of creating a file on storage but this is not probably the right way... It will likely be necessary for the application to have the necessary rights to storage and be less trustworthy for users. Then I read about sqllite. This is a way? Or is there another option? If sqllite is used, will this information be removed after uninstalling the application?
2. I want to make universal app for donations to my others projects. There are probably two ways.
a) Create an app to purchase directly on Google Play at installation.
b) Create free app with "in-app purchase".
If I choose the option a) then a user who downloads this application and purchases it and when he uninstall and install it again (if it wants to support my other project) will this application look like paid? Can this be prevented?
Then option b) would be better, but it would require more interactions from the user... From this point of view would be a better option a) - simple and quick pay without having to run the application.

I don't know where to start, the application must have a billboard where you can buy tickets to the events, with a specific price, paying by paypal, or other regional electronic means of payment. In turn, I should be able to modify the billboard at will, and automatically delete the events on a certain date, and update the billboard (with image or video content). To buy the ticket, the user should also place the youtube account through which he would see the private event, and I access that database to manually place them on the youtube-live list. I must also have access to a database that informs me which user paid the entrance, when, and how much he paid for it, in order to report to the owner of the bar.
