I hope Omni does the job, if not try to use LineageOS 14.1

I am currently using omni rom and quite like it

Hi,
I also have a Sony Xperia M2 (D2303) now and want to update it.
So which ROM is best for daily use?
LOS 14.1 RC3, LOS 15 Alpha3 or Omni? Or are there other?
I already unlocked the Bootloader, updated it with Emma and flashed the newest TWRP.
Thanks

I've almost used all the ROMs and the best ones I found are LOS 15, Omni, and SlimLP.

LOS 14.1 RC2 is the smother and good battery life

I've installed LOS 14.1 RC3 and everything is working fine.
Battery life is also great for a 3 year old phone, but I've tested it only with WiFi, no SIM card.
The integrated Browser is a little bit funny, but Firefox or some other Browser would be installed quickly, if needed.

Check out Original Android Development and Android Development sections and look for [5.1.1] tag in the thread(topic) title.
You can install any of them who has this title provided you first look at their flashing procedure mentioned in those threads.
General flashing procedure >> forum.xda-developers.com/oneplus-one/general/guides-bacon-timmaaas-how-to-guides-t2839471
Try ressurection remix its one of the most stable custom rom and its updated regularly, look for it in android development.
Blisspop and resurrection remix are my all time favourite. Currently in love with smartisan os. (not cyanogen based)
I would suggest using Slimsaber CAF as i'm using it as a daily driver and it's stable. But there are plethora of roms on xda and you can try all of them to find which one suits you the best. Hoenstly, it's all a matter of personal preference and choice. Slimsaber apparently is a stable and "necessary-feature" proof rom. I'm sure you'll like it.
You should try also Sultan's Rom. It's maybe the best Rom for OPO (the 5.1.1 / cm12.1).
If your really adventurous, you could try Sultan's unofficial cm13.0. I'm using it for a daily driver. But, now you can try anything out there since your rooted.

For smooth stable experience go cm 12.1/5.1.1, if u want latest mm then there are some 6.0/cm 13 ROM out also.
and +1 for sultan's ROM. exodus is also good.
Sultans cm13
I second sultans version of CM 13. Its working flawlessly. The snapdragon camera is amazing.
You'll definitely learn a lot about your phone when you start flashing ROMs. Backup often.

Hey there
Mine was also a newly rooted opo just 10days back. The roms I tried in this days where 4. According to my ranking
1.Blisspop
2.Carbon Rom
3.Resurrection remix
4.CM 13.0 (if you want to get a new experience of MM.)
Never tried cm12.1 though. I love customizations and stock cm12.1 doesn't have much.

Depends. If you want the regular cm feel go for sultans rom. I really liked it, but it has just about the same looks as mostly every other. It does have some solid cherry picks that set it ahead of the competition.
However, if you want to try something a bit different but also really well made, try miui 7. This is by far my favourite at the moment. Has official oneplus one support. It's a 4.4.4 rom though but I don't care about that. I actually have way better battery life on 4.4.4 and the miui7 feels like a complete product while being beautiful.
If you do, be sure to follow instructions not to have odd problems due to missed steps during install.

I think right now, its SultanXDA, MM.
The battery life in L, was a nightmare, solved on MM. Of course, MM need some time, but the best way to have it perfect earlier possible its helping to the developers finding the bugs.
If you don't want a alpha the Sultan's 5.11 its really nice too.

[Q] Good and Stable Rom

Hi
I am looking for fast and stable rom for my girlfriend.
Now she is using Metallium OS but I think it has been abandoned.
I know that I should test few roms but I don't have Moto G and my girlfriend doesn't like testing on her phon
So maybe you can recommend me something?
The rom should be stable (android 5.1?) and fast. She doesn't need any options to configurate.
Fast interface in daily using (debloated) and stable are the most important.
Thanks a lot
Is the bootloader unlocked and does it has a custom recovery? If so try CyanPop (android 6.0), pretty good and stable ROM!
Everything is unlocked and custom recovery is installed
Android 6.0 is stable for now on Moto g?
CyanPop (29/11 build) is pretty stable and I've been using it as my daily ROM since about two weeks!
But this rom is for Moto G 4G, yes?
I think about Moto G (1st = 2013)
No also for 1st Gen (http://forum.xda-developers.com/moto-g/development/rom-cyanpop-v1-0-t3250449)!
I recommend you AICP. Imho the most stable and useful rom that i have used. It's restarting by itself sometimes (CM bug) but not so often.

SlimSaber, best performance, estability and battery backup, I think that is the best. I tested since cm11 until Marshallow roms. If you check the post, many people think the same

IMO CM 13 is a little bit better than CyanPop!
I had official stock 4.4.4 KitKat (faux123 kernel). Worked like a charm. But I wanted something new, so I upgraded with OTA to 5.1.1.
Then I used the NX ROM, which is 6.0.1 and GEEZ, I love it. I get 1 day+ battery with normal use, no bugs so far. Everything works as intended. Also, you can notice better graphics and smoother gameplay on games, from 4.4 to 6.0
Give it a try. I'm just in love with it
P.S: I got the 1st Gen Moto G 2013. Antutu marks 23,400 and with Nova Launcher you just skyrocket through the phone.
Cheers.

Which ROM after CM 12.1?

Hi,
I am still on CM12.1 and my Moto G sometimes just turns itself off, even when battery is at 60+ percent.
I want to try a different ROM, but I don't know which one. I am looking for a stable ROM with Android 6.0 and up. Don't care for lots of features or dual-sim support, it only needs to be stable as a daily driver.
Any recommendations?
Try AospExtended ROM V3.1 with Zerobyte kernel. You will not be disappointed.

Thanks. But I don' think this is the right ROM for me, looks heavily modified with a lot of cherry-picks. I think I'll give LineageOS 14.1 a try.
Is LineageOS not heavily modified?
I was also still on CM12.1 until last week (didn't have any problems whatsoever though) and now tried Lineage for a few days but I had some performance problems, so I switched to CM13 and that's really great so far. Very smooth with a few improvements over CM12, while I don't miss any features from Nougat

[Q] Stable ROM for daily use?

Hi
Which ROM can you recommend for daily using?
The most important for me is bug free and stable.
if you want no risk taken with everything functional stick to noughat based ROMs. some (Lineage 14.1, crDroid, ResurectionRemix, AOSPExtended) being updates to latest sources recently.
however latest crop oreo based ROMs have almost everything working.
I use a debloated version of 4.4 on my Moto G. It's the best stable ROM. Old but works like charm.

There is official Mokee rom on website why not on xda?

Mokee Rom is developing roms since many years for natrium. why there is no thread for mokee in xda. Please make one im unable to download from website too.
This is the rom
It's official, we can't just create some thread about it, the mantainer should do it. They have their website, even if it's posted here the rom won't be reuploaded but there will be links to that site. It may be slow but that's because they ask for donations to be able to download full speed, just disable adblocker and wait for it to download
anyone use this rom? is it true that we must to install MIUI 1st for flashing this cumROM?

I've installed Mokee on my mi5s plus just like other ROMs (wipe cache, dalvik, data, system, then install rom, gapps and optionally magisk).
First boot took about 2 minutes and phone got really hot, more than other roms.
Everything looks simillar to LineageOS, just added some apps like new gallery LeafPic or music player Phonograph.
Performance is a very little bit better in Mokee than in LineageOS, battery is a lot better in Mokee than LineageOS.
Overall, I'm staying with Mokee, for now it's the best oreo based ROM
(If u were asking, I'm using version from 2nd of July)
