Anyone from the UK\EU take their Flex 2 in for repair under warranty lately? Are they still replacing the logical board or offering a different model? If yes, which model?

I sent mine in , thinking it was under warranty but, it wasn't apparently, in july.
My model is the H955-eu (bought in Italy), they replaced the logic board, because it couldn't detect the SIM card.
They did it for free.

Sent in, in the UK or Italy. I'm under the impression that there are different warrenty lengths in the continent. Apparently they still have logic boards in stock. My device still works rather well but has some minor data, gps disconnect issues, but probably enough to ask for a replacement.

Probably. I sent mine in via the authorized repair shop in my town and they sent it to Milan, I suppose.
I think you should send it in, It may take some time, tho...

I think I'll wait until it either stops working properly or the warrenty is nearer to being void. Im hoping that way no more boards will be available and I will receive a replacement device, hopefully a G5.

Any of you happened to them?
What did you do?
I await your comments
Best Regards
Does it require a Battery Pull?
If you got it from a tmobile store return it asap. No reason to try and fix a defective phone.

+1 Most likely a defective unit. You need a new one.
If it happens with no apps installed and sd card is out. Then its defective for sure.... You will know within a day if its defective..
If still having issues exchange toll you get a good one.. Stay away from 5/16/11 build date.. 2 out of 3 of those were defective for me.
Finally rocking a good one I love it..
Did it happen when on off the charger?

I bought a T-Mobile G2X mobile phone off ebay.
That is a single piece without Adapter or any accessory.
I hope it would be the mobile phone the customer gave back to T-Mobile.
If the mobile phone emits the above problems what are the options for me to fix it?
Would it be a hardware problem?
If you got it off EBay, I think your first option would be to contact LG and get a replacement. Regardless where you got it, the phones not old enough to be out of warranty. You could also try going to a T-Mobile store and asking them, they might work with you. Also, if you have insurance on the phone it may be covered. I know with Asurion your covered for about a 100-140 dollar replacement fee.
You are with T-Mobile I assume.
Nope, i am not a T-mobile customer nor in USA.
Thats why I am trying to find software based solutions.
But I bought the mobile phone from a reputed seller in eBay and he assured me that it is working propery.
Fingers crossed.
been running eternity for about a month with no problem. all of a sudden i cant connect to ANY wifi and everytime i try to scan for a network i get "unable to scan for networks"
i have tried reflashing. full wiping, EVYERTHING! this is still an issue. what do i do???
I'd try flashing a different rom if you haven't yet. If that fails I don't think there's much else you can do but return to stock and see about a replacement.

Try wiping cache and dalvik. If that doesn't work, do a full wipe and see if that helps.
Usually something like this is software related and not hardware (though it could still be a possibility)
i got the phone in January with no insurance so i think im out of luck =/
is there like a 90 day warranty grace period?
I think the warranty is 1 year.

i dont have any insurance on it or anything...i got the phone in January..ill still have a warranty?
If you bought it brand new, you have the manufacturers warranty for 1yr. Call HTC or verizon and they will replace if its a defect

Yes. Warranty is not the insurance.

So recently my S3's power button broke and I don't have insurance. My dad has Asurion and we were thinking if we could switch phones, and send my broken phone in. He has a S3 as well. So basically I take his phone and he takes mine and sends in the broken one. Is this possible? Do they look at serial numbers on the phones or anything? I don't mind paying any deductible that he has, but I just need a functioning phone.

You can try it, but i think it's a bad idea. It's essentially insurance fraud, and even though Asurion probably wouldn't be able to find out they would charge you the full price of the phone if they did find out.
You're better off contacting samsung for a manufacturers warranty if your phone is less than a year old, or get it fixed through mobile tech videos for a reasonable price.

@tu3218 how old is your phone? If it's less than a year old just take it back the store it's a known defect.

I don't think they can check. I just had my S3 replaced. For some reason, Verizon has my S3 listed under my mom's name. No big deal. However, be wary of any device you get from them. As I said, I just had mine replaced. The refurbed device they sent me has had a number of issues. I had to take it to Verizon and ask for a brand new one. So before you root, take a day or two to scout out any issues.

Thanks guys. Yeah my phone is more than a year old so no verizon for me or Samsung. I'll check out Mobile Tech Videos. This is so frustrating cause I've kept my S3 is such good condition, never dropped it or anything. But I get stuck with defective hardware because of piss poor design by Samsung. Sorry, just going back to grad school in a couple weeks and don't need this right now.
Dropped my phone today and now the top half of my phone no longer works. The touchscreen doesn't work.
Is there any way to fix this manually?

Where you bought it. New? Have warranty?

I have the insurance with tmobile. It's gonna cost me $175 though. I think that's my best bet. Afaik, the phone loses it's waterproofing with the DIY tutorials and if I were to upgrade to a new phone, the Z3 needs to have it's waterproofing to be tradeable, otherwise I will still be paying the $175 deductible.
If the phone doesn't look like it was dropped on the floor, try sending it to T-Mobile and say it just happened overnight. Worth a try rather than spending 175 bucks
Buy some parts and fix it up!

Hello. So I bought a google pixel from Gumtree, and it was sealed in the box, unopened. I've tested it when I bought it, and I had signal and 4g internet. However, when I got back home its just says emergency calls only. The device was never registered with any google accounts, not even mine. Can anyone suggest anything? Cheers

You should contact your cell phone service provider.

Call your service provider and ask if the imei is blacklisted. It's possible the phone's been reported stolen.

This
If it was originally purchased on a contract from EE, the buyer does not own the device for 6 months and thus does not have the right to sell it. It is listed on EE contracts. Also they are covered by Asset Watch which specifies the buyer may not have legal title to the device.
What this means I believe, is that if someone gets the Pixel on contract, then does not pay the bill, the device would be blocked.
Maybe it was an EE device ? If not i'm unsure but does sound blocked to me.

Sorry man. If you bought it used and it's backlisted, your only option is calling the police to let them know you were sold a stolen device to see if they can do something about it. But it's also possible it's not stolen. It's possible someone defaulted on a cell contract and the provider blacklisted it for that as well.
So basically. Nothing you can do.
