SP Flast Tool Error
Guys,
I am trying to do a nvram.img backup with SP Flash Tools, but when I connect my turned off phone I always get this error
ERROR: STATUS_BROM_CMD_SEND_DA_FAIL.
The phone than just starts (it shouldn't, I am not sure why). Someone had this problem before? I running the August release rom.
Thanks!
It was a problem with the cable connection due to the plastic cover. I removed the cover and the cable is now well connected. Everything worked....
Don't understand why when booting up with the 20170920 rom, the boot "Bluboo" shows up twice: first saying "Powered by Android" and than black screen and than powers up again just saying bluboo....
Help.
My cable can not connect to the computer. driver installed.
I think the cable is broken. but still charging and charging very slowly
does anyone like me?
Hi, Can anyone tell me how to enable VOLTE on Bluboo S1, i'm from India.

you need an unlocked bootloader instructions above
use a laptop on battery when flashing to protect from bootloader errors
if something wrong when flashing bootloader your phone is bricked
you have to use service tools to solve this problem

Hi,
i used a modified boot.img to root the phone.
I did it on my own for the phone i've bought at cect-shop.com (see above) so i'm not sure that it will work on other i9300s too.
I recommend to save your own boot.img first using the readback function from the flashtool with startadress:0x0000000000f88000 and lenght 0x00600000.
You are using this file on your own risk, good luck !

Take a look into ColonelZaps blog : http://colonelzap.blogspot.de/2012/07/star-note-ii-n9770-mt6577-dual-core.html
It's the same way, just use the i9300 boot.img instead of the one from the blog.
How to read your boot.img per readback should be clear if you play around a bit with the flashtool.

n9770root.zip includes all what you need, drivers (maybe the most difficult part), flashtool and a boot.img. This boot.img must be swapped with my file. You can do this by doubleclicking the boot.img in the flashttool after loading the scatterfile. Try it out, you can't harm anything as long as the phone is not connected.
When you opend the flastool you will find a button labeled with 'readback'. Click it, than press 'add' and enter the adresse and length. if you finished that press readback and the tool will read your boot.img to your harddisc.

You have to load the scatterfile, change the boot.img, then first press 'download' before you connect your phone which have to be off.
The download should start automaticly, if not or if an error-window appears the driver is not installed correctly.
I wasn't able to install the driver on 2 Windows 7 PCs. I reactivated my old Windows XP PC and was succesfull. It seems to be a bit difficult to install the driver.
The adresse and length should be the same on every MTK6577 phone, you had to connect your phone as the last step. Doesn't matter if you want to download or readback.
I know no other way to root a MTK6577 phone than flashing a rootet boot.img, it was easier on MTK6575 phones.
if i understand, i open flashtool, i make all like you say (boot img, scartet fil...), i click on download, i click on yes and i connect my phone (with or without batterie) ?
and i don't understand for save my boot ?

Yes, connecting the phone should be the last step. Take the battery out for a second to reset the phone and put it back before connecting it.
As you say you are an android noob i would urgently recommend to make a backup first.
Start the flash-tool -> load the scatter-file -> click on 'Read back' -> click on 'Add' -> doubleclick the new entry -> give a name for your backup -> enter start-adress and length -> click ok -> click on readback button -> connect your phone.
If the driver is correctly installed the tool starts automaticly. The result should be a file with a bit more than 6MB.

can anybody please make a readback from the recovery-file (0x0000000001588000 / 0x00600000) ?
I damaged mine while playing around, even though i'm not sure that the phone had a working recovery before.
I'd appreciate any help to get my phone working again. I've only had it for a couple of weeks and I'm hoping I haven't completely ruined it...
I'll try to recall the exact steps I took to get to this point:
First, towelroot wouldn't work to get root due to me accepting the OTA update to 4.4.4 android. So I found on a forum post that you can use Odin to flash the stock kernel and then towelroot will work. So I downloaded the stock kernel and flashed it successfully using Odin. Towelroot was then able to work with success. After that I installed SuperSU and busybox. Then I was using this guide (URL omitted due to forum rules) to install SafeStrap recovery as I'd read CWM recovery didn't work for the G900A model (AT&T). Safestrap seemed to install OK and when I rebooted I was able to get into the SafeStrap software interface. From there, I attempted to flash the CM12 nightly build to the "stock rom" slot (I'd read there was some trouble using the non-stock-rom slots in SafeStrap). That operation completed with success, but when I tried to reboot, it froze at the CM12 splash screen. I tried this with a few more custom ROMS and they all do the same thing (freeze up on boot logo / splash screen).
I've tried using Odin to flash back the stock firmware. As long as I didn't try to flash the bootloader (BL) Odin shows "PASS". However, when it reboots it again hangs on the Samsung splash screen.
So at this point, I've flashed all stock firmware to the phone (except BL) and it freezes and then goes black screen on the Samsung splash screen. Also, it no longer shows the SafeStrap "recovery / continue" bootup screen since I flashed the stock firmware.
Any ideas on how I can get back to a useable device?...

Googled the error. Solution is to flash the firmware with PIT file. Only problem is that someone has to give you a working pit file.

I'm still stuck... I'm just looking to get back to a usable device. I really don't care if it's a stock or custom rom at this point. Any help is appreciated.
I tried flashing with the full firmware package I downloaded (4.4.2 G900A stock firmware) which included a *.pit file inside one of the tarballs. I used the PIT/re-partition option and everything succeeded except it still freezes at the Samsung boot logo.

Hi,
We all felt problem of LAGGNESS and PERFORMANCE from our beast after flashing the custom ROMs. No way problems could not be solved although flashing official stock ROM through odin.
HERE HOW TO SOLVE THE PROBLEMS.
First of all you have to download Smart Switch( Official PC suite)
and then simple flash ROM through the suite. DONE af
Just download SMART SWITCH from http://www.samsung.com/in/support/smartswitch/ to your pc.
BOOT your phone to DOWNLOAD mode [power+volume down+home key while phone in switched off mode]
Go to smart switch and press EMERGENCY SOFTWARE RECOVERY AND ... & follow the instruction.
Done!!!!!
HOPE UR PROBLEM WILL BE SOLVED LIKE ME
------------------------------------------------------
I have not yet install any CUSTOM ROM. So don"t know about performance in Custom ROM. If u have tried pls report asap.
I recommend INSTALL RR 6.0 (Only big problem is networkstabilty, others are okay).

I did it and installed rr 6.0 and its smooth as ****(at least for now) and so you can add to the thread that roms work and the method works too
Can I use the tar.md5 file in this tool also?? Like Odin?
Doesn't work. If you have flashed ANY THING on your out-of-the-box firmware, it will give you lag whether you flash/format and reinstall STOCK rom. If you can feel the smoothness again, don't get too excited, the lag will come again within 15 days.
Once you flash there is no going back.
It just install the very first firmware of the phone. This won't make difference tho

Since I can't post my feedback to hashtag new PAC ROM I wrote it here instead. So I just flash it in a clean way. From clearing system and all and back to stock install root kernel then twrp then flash the PAC ROM clean way. And after testing
And it takes I thing more than 30mins to flash the ROM. And after testing the ROM is extremely laggy and I found resurrection remix way smoother than the new PAC ROM

Wipe and flash, lol. Cp is ?
Bro it's crap
This only reflash the firmware. As soon as there are apps, the phone will get laggy. So don't be excited.
Placebo. There's no reason a why a wipe makes device lagfree except for the first few hours..

Please note phone will be faster as you new phone you have bought. (Later lag, that's blame SAMSUNG)
Hay.i have an idea. . . .i tryed it and it works for me, . .go try your self.but you will lost your data.so backup 1st.
1st step=>you nead stock rom,
2nd step=>go to stock recovery and do wipe and factry reset several time(3-5),
3rd and last step=>go to setings and do a factry reset from there,
After 3rd step you will feel the light of the rom like 1st day you buy it.!
I have stock rom on my Oneplus 6. After the new OTA update 9.0.5 it downloads (aprrox 94 Mb) but installation failed. After 2 tries it says download full rom. then I rebooted my device, It stuck into fastboot mode. I called customer care they flashed the device remotely, now device is booted normally but all sensors are not working like proximity, autorotate etc. by dialing *#808# engineering menu tries to self-test & calibrate sensors but it shows only grey screen. Also sensor test & CPU-z app from play store also not showing any sensors.
dear members is it possible that flashing currupted my sensor files in system, could it possible to flash sensor file.
I tried to downgrade to 9.0.4 via update from local, says downgrade not possible. I tried Beta 16 update , problem still persist.
help me guys ASAP.
try to flash with msmdownloadtool, just search "op6 unbrick tool", if no success, try to flash via fastboot persist.img (pretty common issue with Xiaomi/OnePlus that comes to my repair shop) from working OP6. good luck.

I am a noob, so I don't know how to do these procedures even if I download above mentioned file (msmsdownloadtool, persist.img) or my downloaded files are compatible with my oneplus 6. Could you give me links for further details.
Thanks

I think you have a faulty phone now. Probably why you had a problem to start with. Msm takes you back to factory reset. Should work but if the problem is still there looks like its hardware. ?
