so i got this sm-n915g, and i think the emmc is broken (dead), and i'm thingking can i make it boot from external card? because flashing is always failed on the phone

Interesting idea.

I think it was the HTC Sensation section that had a guy do this aftet a program screwed up his partition tables.
You might want to start by looking there.

Hi all- just got a sensation the other day and have started modding away- came from the G2X and i must say i am excited for what this phone has to offer!
I have a question about the bootloader- i have been getting used to this new bootloader and all its options. The other day i chose the Image CRC option and wasnt sure what it exactly did- i did get the calculations screen but dont know why it took so long so i am wondering what else it did to my phone . I have searched all over the web and through the forums and couldnt get an answer to this- can anyone help me in explaining what exactly this option does?

Hey, just wanted to tell u it does nothing, it just checks for sum kind of checksum i think. It is nothing fatal

It stands for Image Cycle Redundancy Check and that is basically exactly what it does.

my brother galaxy s2 got dead it was completly new,stock and witth android 4

There is probably a good way of fixing bricked phones, but posting in this place isn't the correct place. I believe there was a software where you could unbrick your Galaxy devices, don't remember what it's called.

Only thing that can fix hard bricks are USB UART.
Which means you have to visit a service center.

well..my inspire 4g got bricked..unlocked the bootloader via easyunlocktool..
and flashed an ICS ROM..
then got bricked..
tried few ways of unbricking..
but just didn't work for me..

You need to provide a little more detail than that if you expect useful help. What did you do? What error messages did you see? What have you tried? As best as I can guess, you're stuck on the splash screen after unlocking your bootloader and flashing a custom ROM. If that is the case, read my signature.

It was never truly broken. You will need to do this each time you flash a ROM.

Turn on my brain? Do you know what "chutiya" means? No,right? Just the same way I didn't know what "Akku" means but now I know it means "Battery" and it is somewhat german language.
