How do you get themes on Oreo? Isn't it supposed to be easy without root now?
You can try out mine, they seem to work fine.
Transparent theme
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.archangel.translucent.clear.oreo.substratum
Inverted theme
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.archangel.midnight.oreo.dark.substratum
Let me know if you have any problems, they are for stock rooted Oreo only.

Follow the directions here for rootless themes. You will need to purchase some apps though.

I don't want to root my phone...I just want to get rid of the brown! Is there a non-rooted theme available? I am currently using ADW which is nice for icons and such, but doesn't get rid of the brown theme everywhere else! Thanks

you can use adw/lpp themes to change some stuff around
but you need to have root to install custom themes
System themes modify the framework.res and tw-framework.res in the system files which are inaccessible without root... so that's a negative ghostrider.
Technically, you could theme your system and not have root, but why would you want to? To theme the ROM, it needs to be deodexed for easiest theming. After that you need root access to replace the files that are themed. If you wanted to have a stock looking system, you'd have to root, deodex, theme, re-odex, de-root.
You can use Go Contacts to theme Dialer and contacts, Go SMS for messaging, and Go Launcher for a mini makeover. Maybe not a complete theme, but it can help with some of the things you use alot

I've got a I9500 running 5.0.1 stock rom, rooted. Is there any ways to change the stock icons with something? I've got all the S6 icons in png, i want to replace my current icons with them. How? Please help
From what I can gather you could install a different launcher that supports themes and icon packs.

Yeah, I know that, but i want to use the touchwiz launcher, because i'd like to get something like the stock S6..
There are launchers that look quite a bit like tw but are not. Other than this option, i don't know how to do that.
You would need to modify the apk's with the images you want to use.

Try Wiziconizer. I think it should work. Because i've tried it.

When I re-enabled the theme store to re-apply downloaded theme, I noticed that I can now download themes normally from the theme store directly. Are we close to the final Nougat update?
Anyways, if you want to use a theme but don't want to disable theme store+services, you can now download themes normally again!
@Masterfellow any screenshot?

Sorry, my themes store is disabled because I applied my own custom theme, which you can find here. However, I will get you a screenshot once I will be re-applying the theme

Wow, that's nice. I was able to do so only since the 4th beta.
How to install font for example this one https://fonts2u.com/sony-sketch-ef.font
Use Typeface for substratum.
But you need to be rooted
Typeface is good but I just used iFont and that worked well too!
Will I lose warranty when I`ll root Oneplus 6?
That's a good question
No you shouldn't lose warranty as long as you don't damage the hardware (someone correct me if I'm wrong)!

Yes I know, sorry there's was a misunderstanding I was thinking that you you said that it works with substratum on oos but of course you can apply it with root (more dangerous and sometimes bugged characters in lockscreen)

No problem sir.
I just noticed the lockscreen clock has a big square instead of the colon when changing fonts.
Same issue was on the Pixel 2XL, however there is a thread in the 2XL forums that had a fix. I tried that same fix on the OP6 with no luck.
Looks like I'll be sticking to the stock font until full OMS ROMs come out!
How many of you have installed iFont on your OP6? How does it work?
I like to use customized fonts but in the past I've always done it by manually copying font files into /system or something similar, and I'm leery of doing that on this phone until our tools are more mature.

You found any solution for this, yet ?
As I also face this issue and want to get rid of that I've tried several Font tools but none did it right. Allthough TypeFace is the nicest one for me.
Is there a way to change fonts manually? I'm rooted.

i fonts works only for rooted devices i guess any solution that can be done without a root??
I am now using Magisk fonts from the following thread:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/apps/magisk/avfonts-march-6-t3760827
I don't know of a way to change fonts without root and I probably won't try finding a non-root method because I always root my devices.
Anybody know that it's possible to change emojis without root on OP6 stock?
I have tested my theme only on my S8 but it should work on all SAMSUNG PIE 9.0 ROMs.
Because Samsung permit only official Themes from Theme Store on our S8, you need a rooted phone with a patched Theme Center.
Installation:
1. Install the Amoled Black Blue Theme apk (AMOLED.BLACK.BLUE_Badowl.apk).
2. Reboot to Recovery (TWRP) and flash Amoled Black Blue Theme zip (AMOLED.BLACK.BLUE_Badowl.zip).
All previous installed official Themes will change to trial Themes, but with patched Theme Store it makes no difference.
3. Reboot and activate the Amoled Black Blue Theme in the Samsung Theme Store.
4. Wallpaper settings are not possible at the moment with unofficial Themes, because its blocked and I didn't found a workaround. But you can set the Home- and Lockscreen manually.
5. If you want the Lockscreen pattern theming you must apply a official Theme and then the Amoled Black Blue Theme. If you switch from Stock Theme to Amoled Black Blue Theme its blocked.
Enjoy!

Congrats @badowl
Sweet smooth work.
Wondering if it would fit on my J7.
I'.m glad I could be helpful and motivate others to embrace theming with competence and style as you did.
Cheers.

Seems great! Congratulations!
This automatically patches the theme store, or something else must be flashed?

No, you need a trial patched theme store, like on Oreo. My script make only the theme in the theme store visible, to activate it.
Samsung blocks unofficial themes on S8/N8 PIE, only official themes are supported, visible in the theme store.

The theme should work on all PIE Roms with One UI V1.0, but I have only tested it on my S8.
Install only the theme apk and check if it work. If not flash the zip, I know the theme block is in S8 and Note8 roms.
For the theme store I don't know if it work on Note9, make a backup before you flash the zip and try.
