How to install font for example this one https://fonts2u.com/sony-sketch-ef.font
Use Typeface for substratum.
But you need to be rooted
Typeface is good but I just used iFont and that worked well too!
Will I lose warranty when I`ll root Oneplus 6?
That's a good question
No you shouldn't lose warranty as long as you don't damage the hardware (someone correct me if I'm wrong)!

Yes I know, sorry there's was a misunderstanding I was thinking that you you said that it works with substratum on oos but of course you can apply it with root (more dangerous and sometimes bugged characters in lockscreen)

No problem sir.
I just noticed the lockscreen clock has a big square instead of the colon when changing fonts.
Same issue was on the Pixel 2XL, however there is a thread in the 2XL forums that had a fix. I tried that same fix on the OP6 with no luck.
Looks like I'll be sticking to the stock font until full OMS ROMs come out!
How many of you have installed iFont on your OP6? How does it work?
I like to use customized fonts but in the past I've always done it by manually copying font files into /system or something similar, and I'm leery of doing that on this phone until our tools are more mature.

You found any solution for this, yet ?
As I also face this issue and want to get rid of that I've tried several Font tools but none did it right. Allthough TypeFace is the nicest one for me.
Is there a way to change fonts manually? I'm rooted.

i fonts works only for rooted devices i guess any solution that can be done without a root??
I am now using Magisk fonts from the following thread:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/apps/magisk/avfonts-march-6-t3760827
I don't know of a way to change fonts without root and I probably won't try finding a non-root method because I always root my devices.
Anybody know that it's possible to change emojis without root on OP6 stock?

Hi all,
I've been searching for two days a way to reduce NavBar's DPI in Lollipop 5.1 Stock rom because they look too big to me. Since different people are looking for it (from what I've read), I would ask if someone that is able in this sector could kindly make a flashable zip for everyone (I really don't know how to... maybe with a guide I could try by myself).
Thanks in advance.
If you can't get that, get SoftKeyZ. Has keys of smaller size.

If no one wants to make this flashable zip this thread can be closed.
Thanks.

I've modified the navbar to 20dpi on stock 5.1 and using it without any issues.
You need to do change some variable values in framework-res and SystemUI apks as well as resizing the navbar icons.
Attaching a screenshot here to give you an idea about how it looks. Let me know if you need the flashable zips.

Thank you man! Could you explain how to change those values? I would make them 36 dpi but I wouldn't disturb you making a flashable zip...

Follow this link. It will give you a generic idea about how to resize the navbar. This tutorial is for kitkat, but the steps are more or less same. You need the latest apktool jar file and java 7 installed in your system.
Since lollipop some core things are changed most probably because of selinux and security stuff, so you need to use the manifest and meta inf files from the original apk otherwise device will boot loop.
Also you need to downsize the softkey icons in the System-UI apk, else it'll look ugly after resizing.
Finally if you lowered the dpi of your device, then resizing the navbar will increase the gap between the softkeys, some people will like that, but I prefer the keys to be as close as possible so that thumb's reach can be minimal. let me know if you want that mod too. Good luck.
Thanks man, but it looks too difficult to me... I don't know anything about decompiling, java, etc...
By the way thank you very much for spending your time answering my questions.
I'll stay on Chroma until GB is compatible with 5.1.

I was using Chroma ever since it was available for N5, but came back to stock because google maps was FC'ing continuously. Downloaded the latest chroma just yesterday night and still thinking of trying that once again to see how maps behave this time. Regarding navbar, typing the 'how to do' is much longer than modding the apk

I add myself to the discussion because on the web you can't find anything. For KitKat were available some zip file to flash via custom recovery on rooted device compatible with the stock ROM, but for Lollipop anything yet! 40 dpi would be perfect
Apologize first if this is not posted in the right place. I wanted to know if it was possible to roll back to 5.1.1 so I can set my font to Roboto Condensed (as all 3rd party fonts do not work on MM) and retake the update. I learned the hard way about the fonts and I really want Roboto back.

Unfortunately I don't think it's possible to downgrade.. At least from what I've read.
Has anyone tried? The worst that would happen is that Odin will fail.

If you use Good Lock the quick tiles get themed but there is a button to invert color. I think this button doesn't work because o pressed and it inverted the colors but now my phone is stuck inverted and it bothers me. Do you guys have any idea what I could do to fix it

Got the some problem, tried a lot of things to restore... uninstall xposed, good lock , wipe cache and dalvik, nothing really works, or only for a few min or seconds...
I did solve it with a nandroid restore , this was the only solution other than a factory reset or odin flash.
Very strange how this keeps activated..... i keep away from this button, u can deleted it with gravity box (works with good lock)
Okay, I installed everything avoiding the invert icon in the quicksettings with gravity box. I got to say, after working around a bit the phone, It looks almost exactly like stock android! btw I'm using the latest version of Goodlock.

Hey guys I was looking for some advice on changing the system font on my Google Pixel. I rooted the phone yesterday and I'm happy with the default ROM and Google launcher. With previous phones I've used iFont but with the Pixel I get an "error 7" when trying to set a new font.

I haven't messed with it but I know it's capable of changing fonts. I think it requires a compatible rom so stock rooted might not cut it. You'll have to dig around to find out more about substratum. I'm sure there's lots of info out there.

I downloaded the Font_Soma_Bold_Taller_v1 file from the first link. It said just to replace the fonts inside with your own and flash. It's under the Pixel sub forum so I guess it's one that would work. My question was just if I only have one type of the font can I copy the same one over Italic, bold etc and just have the same font universally all over the phone?
Also would I rename my font to roboto-black.ttf, RobotoCondensed-regular.ttf etc?

In theory, you can do that. Of course make a backup of your original fonts. I'm not sure how short you are of the correct fonts.
Can we make these yet? I tried a few times with signing both the font and the apk but Samsung settings keeps rejecting it.
Curious if anyone has figured out a working method yet? Possibly with an RRO theme, edit the default fonts?
Edit: I remember seeing that Samsung themes can inherit a TTF as a font, but this means we can't use another theme with it. So I am thinking RROs.
I with I knew how to do this. I have been researching for days ..

I don't know the exact meaning, but that's the only type of font Samsung allows you to install and use.
I guess it's like a regular .ttf file with some modifications - again, I don't really know.
All I know is that FlipFont make us all suffer. I wish Samsung knew how to treat customers. This is Android, not iOS - why locking us?
I'm using these on my s8, with both a Samsung theme and a Substratum theme https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=72112717&postcount=24
