In the past I have wiped Dalvik and Cache then Flashed ROM Firekernel coolpixel mod Gapps magisk. I get a message in twrp after magisk survival script is run unmount of system failed-1 device/resource busy. Any ideas, The workaround I've been using is wiping system dalvik/cache then flashing the files. The only problem here is I lose text messages and any changes I've made in the settings any Ideas.

Hi there,
A few weeks ago I rooted my tf101 and installed clockworkmod 5. Installing the rom from Raymanfx isn't a problem, but it doesn't run very smoothly. So I wanted to try the ROM of EOS4. Installed both nightly's .93 and .92, but both don't work. I've wiped the cache, but it still stays stuck in bootscreen. I'm wondering, how can I find out the problem and how can I solve it?
Thx in advance!
Yours sincerely,
Anderverhaal
Any time you flash a different ROM (from a different DEV), for best results you should wipe:
Cache
Davlik Cache
System (ROM)
Factory Reset (will not wipe the /data/media/ aka /sdcard/ directory, just the apps installed in the /data/ directory).
Failing to do a factory reset, there may be some system settings from your previous ROM that are still lingering and causing issues with the TeamEOS 4.
Also, I would HIGHLY recommend using TWRP 2.3.2.3 for EOS 4. The new multi-user file structure does not work well with CWM 5.X.
If you want to update, you can boot to CWM, connect to your tablet via ADB, push the latest TWRP blob and use the ADB shell command to dd it to the recovery partition.
Otherwise, install a ROM that boots, then install GooManager and then choose the Install OpenRecovery Script.
Using 6.0.5.0 r8 CWM recovery.Everytime I enable TDB with MIUI 7 installed and move data to system 2.All the gapps and some other apps like browser disappear from MIUI 7(present in system 2).I've tried both with taking a backup and restoring(to system 2) and also with fresh install of MIUI 7 to system 2 but even then the same error occur.
What may be the problem?Has any one faced the same issue and resolved it?
On a second note,I tried using 6.0.5.1 r11 recovery but there is no option of 'current system' present in advanced options. Why is that?
That's CWM bug. Use CWM R7 Final recovery
To get dual boot working you have to perform steps in this order.
1) Assuming you have MIUI working, go to recovery and make nandroid backup of it. (If not then flash MIUI & then make nandroid backup)
2) perform wipe/factory reset from recovery, wipe cache, dalvik cache, format both systems
3) now enable TDB from advance settings
4) reboot recovery (you will see fixing TDB on system 1, 2)
5) Flash custom ROM (only that works with stock partition) on System 1
6) boot and setup (I am not sure if its necessary to boot)
7) go back to recovery and restore nandroid backup of MIUI on system 2
I wouldn't recommend dual boot, its buggy. Makes phone slow over the time.
Better wait for MultiROM mod which is already in development for MI4
It's an ASUS Nexus 7 2012.
I installed 'lineage-15.1-20200706-UNOFFICIAL-grouper' and 'MindTheGapps-8.1.0-arm-20180808-grouper' (is this the right file?) successively before rebooting while first wiping Dalvik/ART Cache, System, and Data.
It boots, but Gapps don't work. I managed to enter playstore but only once before it froze and since then, I can't enter it no more.
Here, they tell you to change filesystem from EXT4 to F2FS first and also to sideload the OS and Gapps instead of placing the zips in the root folder and installing from device. Does that make a difference?
see nothing is wrong or right it is just about compatibility use default instruction as much as possible
well regarding gapps flash it after setting up phone
Just make sure all the tools you've downloaded are compatible for your device.
Hello, so, my problem is same as title says.
I´ll try to write it as short as possible.
I tried to install Resurrection Remix, Lineage OS, Arrow OS, BootLeggers ( All are unofficial builds for my Redmi 6 ), but everytime I got the constant rebooting bootloop, so I need to go to TWRP and flash Official MIUI ROM
Here are my installation steps for Resurrection Remix ( Pretty same as In this Tutorial ) :
1. - I went to TWRP ( LR. Team TWRP 3.3.1 )
2. - It was showing Internal Storage (0MB), so I click on Wipe - Format Data - yes
3. - After that also Wipe - Advanced Wipe - I selected Dalvik / ART Cache, System, Cache, Data, Vendor
4. - I moved RR Flashable .zip file and Magisk v19.3 from my PC to phones Internal Storage (via USB Cable)
5. - I clicked on Install - RR-P-v7.0.2-20200111-cereus-Unofficial.zip - Add more zips - Magisk-v19.3.zip
6. - After that, I clicked on Wipe cache/dalvik, checked if I´ve got any errors and clicked on Reboot
7. - After that, phone started to restart around every 5 seconds until I went to TWRP and Installed Official MIUI ROM
BONUS. - Tried also on second try to flash MIUI Firmware before RR .zip file, but the results were same.
Also I don´t want Gapps in my phone so i didn´t flash them.
With other ROMs it was same, always bootloop. Here are all .zips, links to forums, tutorials that I followed.
So please message me what´s the issue, especially while installing Resurrection Remix, because this is the ROM that I would like to install the most.
I know it's too late for reply I'm just posting this so that others (like myself) can see this. Lets keep the community for this phone alive!
Install MIUI V10.4.4.0 (I found that this version works for me), Disable DM verity (https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/...ncrypt-disk-quota-disabler-11-2-2020.3817389/) and finally wipe data and install your custom rom.
It will bootloop on the first boot so wait a few seconds then force reboot
Hope you support me how to delete GAPP from Flash into System, I installed Clean ROM but it always installs the System with ROM. Cannot find wipe System in OrangeFox
