Is there going to be any xda support on this? It's still trickling into Kmart stores right now. but if we are able to OC this, that would be great
Doubt it...
its a great little device for little cash. i bought one today after i heard. glad i did. was this or the bb chumby. this blows it away
Hey Pen --
Have you tried the Kindle app on it? I want an ereader that is bigger than my MT3G and I think one of these would foot the bill if I can find one. My local store only had one and it was on hold for somebody.
I am going to get a rain check today.
until they release the patch which allows the market to work i havent tried it. they should have the patch released by tomorrow
How is the screen?
How do you like the screen and how is its performance in general.
over all i like the device. im used to a resistive screen so thats not a problem. doesnt appear to have the auto rotate screen but waiting to hear back from them to find out what the deal is. the manual talks about auto rotating the screen so it should have it. lack of bluetooth is another draw back but i really dont need it. they also have a 2.5mm headphone jack on them instead of a 3.5 like normal but they are addressing that with an adapter i do believe.
power consumption wasnt too bad. i was using the device for 5 hours yesterday and only used a 1/4 reserve from what it said. so i was only down to around 72% charge after playing with it for 5 hours. was reasonably bright enough in a brightly lit room. the angle one can see is pretty good as well.
the microsd card slot isnt in line properly. so if you insert a card you will want to put a price of tape on the end of it so when you release it you can pull it out. i played hell getting the thing to pull out and it was dragging the top of the card so had to use a pair of tweezers to pull it out.
cant access the market yet so havent tried the nook or kindle apps but that will be my next thing. looking at pictures was good. just as good as my digi pic frame.
over all for what i bought it for i do believe it will work a treat. i was going to buy a chumby either the bb or the sony branded chumby and this will work so much better then either of those two devices.
Augen Tablet
Thanks for the info pen.
It surprises me that that it has a 2.5mm jack. I wonder how it ended up with that. You can get an adapter on Amazon or ebay for a buck or two. That would be important for me because I'd like to be able to watch movies on it when I am on the train to work. That is also why I am interested in the Kindle app.
Everything that I have read seems to indicate that it has an accelerometer to rotate the screen.
I get the feeling that Augen underestimated the interest this device was going to generate and put it on the market when it wasn't completely ready, thinking they could dabble a little and fix problems on the fly with the couple of people that bought them. oops.
My Augen Gentouch78 experience
I just picked up my Augen yesterday at the KMart here in Phoenix (KMart actually called me on my raincheck I had made over the phone! Kudos to them). I like the form factor but am quite disappointed overall. While I don't think it is sluggish in general, the resistive touch screen makes it seem that way. Using your fingernail or an old pda stylus helps considerably in that regard.
Couple of negatives:
1. Market download does not work, as others have pointed out (it just stays in the "Starting Download" phase.
2. Micro SD card is hard to insert/remove (you need to use your fingernail in both cases, and to remove you need to also flick it down a bit to slide out as it seems to catch on the lip of the slot).
3. The device could not "Mount" when connected to my PC via USB. I had better luck when the SD card was not in the device, as I was able to Mount it once then, and saw that I had 1.3GB of free space... even though the device SD card info showed only 246ishMB free... what's up with that? (documentation did say there was 2GB available, so the Mounted drive size was closer).
4. I lost sound twice.. had to power off to get it back (all sounds started coming out as loud white noise). Seems to occur when pressing the top front part of the frame... yup, near where the menu/home/back buttons are.
5. Percentage battery use shows that monitoring cellular network was using 57% of the battery, and suggested turning it off. However, you can't... network settings only have WiFi (I curiously did find a place where it prompted me to turn on Bluetooth, but I don't think it did anything).
6. I wanted to return the unit due to the sound problem, but wanted to clear out my google account info... the factory reset does nothing other than power off the unit, even though that is how they say to clear out all data including the google account data.
7. No auto-rotate. No rotate at all that I can see. Nothing in the setup relating to that, even though the manual says it should be there.
8. Non-US Standard earphone jack
9. No mic or web cam
10. Resistive touch screen makes typing on the on-screen keyboard a PITA. I did get somewhat use to it after a while, but still don't like having to press firmly.
On the positive side:
After manually copying a ripped DVD movie in mp4 format onto my SD card and inserting it into the unit, it played great.
So, first impressions are basically way down there for me.
Some other specs:
- Telechips TCC8900 ARM CPU (on an eval board no-less!)
- Android 2.1 - Update 1
- Build 2010-07-21 (boy did they push these out the door... likely with no testing!!)

they are pushing an update out should be out tonight or tomorrow to fix a couple of the things. i believe the eval board is not correct as someone has found the chinese version of this and it has been out for a while. i just think the cooking of this device wasnt the best. i am just hoping they push 2.2 out on it pretty quickly.
I also got one today
I can confirm the market is not working for me either.. Yes build date is really new. haha.. I'm trying to get apps installed by emailing myself APK's to Gmail but I need something like APKatcher to do it. So so far I've not installed anything, but going into settings, aplications and manage I was able to kill the running apps and speed it up.
So far it's a cool little device. I also lost sound once and a reboot fixed it. haha (interesting) I watched 20 minutes of avatar and it looks incredible and gets much louder than a cell phone.. My 16GB MicroSD card went in fine.
There's a Stylus if you guys didn't figure that out yet. Makes typing extremely easy.
Anyone know how I can install some APK's?
ES File Manager comes Pre Loaded.. you can add any app APK to the SD card. and use ES File Manager to install
Installing Quadrant, and some games right now.. I'll post back
Rainchecks
I got two rain checks tonight. I want to get one for myself and I know my wife will want one if it is cool.
If anybody really wants one and lives in Eastern PA, they have 4 of them in the Reading PA store. That is a little far for me to drive and I like getting a rain check because I can make sure they are going to put out an update to make the market work.
It seems like the early reviews are mixed at best but c'mon...they are $150. I mean, if I can get my 6 year old to watch a thomas the tank engine video on it for a few minutes of peace each day, I have gotten my money's worth.
Dev thread here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=7409528#post7409528
Well I got one yesterday and it is horrible.
I am hoping their support can help me get the screen a bit more responsive.
I mean I have to press on it like I'm trying to push through it.
The manual says there supposed to be a calibrations but there isn't.
The manual says there is an option to allow this to orientate according tot he direction held but theres not.
The manual says that when you charge the device the light should be red in color turning green when fully charged well I charged over night and its still red.
When I turn it on it says 100% battery...
Also I went into market which is like that on my Droid1, Incredible, Droidx... and chose to install a app like dropbox, weatherbug, MyMemo, SlingPlayer and it sis there saying downloading but its not.
I have my wifi connected to the device...
Anyone else with ideas???
I so wanted this to be a iPad alternative!!!
Thanks
I got one last night... I side loaded a bunch of apps from my Incredible... LauncherPro, Pandora, Quick Settings, Android System Info... Awesome Drop...they all work... The weird thing is some of the apps force the screen to Portrait, but i haven't found an app yet to turn it back.. (aside from rebooting)
I noticed the sound is wonky... sometimes it works...
I also noticed something installed called Dev Tools... It has a terminal, a bunch of dev settings, a package browser, sync tester, and some google tools..
I got one today as well. So far, all is not well.
Wifi seems to be an issue. I can connect to my network if I turn off security, but when I enable WEP, this thing just sits here and says 'Obtaining IP Address' and then shows 'Unsuccessful'. I have tons of other devices connected. The problem is not the network.
So, with security off, I played with it a bit. The browser seems to work fine. It defaults to mobile pages and I'd love to turn that off. No Flash as expected.
I also have a problem with sound. When anything produces sound (mp3, video, youtube, even clicking on something) all I get is horrible white noise.
I get constant alerts that things have failed to download. I assume that this is due to the Marketplace issue.
I threw in a micro SD that I had. I have no problems with it sticking as others have reported.
I will admit that this is my first taste of Android. I am a professional developer for other platforms though so I'm not a total knucklehead - just partial.
I hear that an update is imminent. Anyone have any info about this? Will it be done via the SD card? USB?
I REALLY want this to work
Greg
Update:
Looks like a reboot fixed a few things now. I am now connected to my secured network and sound is ok. So now I have a more or less functioning tablet.
You guys aren't having screen issues?
This is posted on the Augen website:
Patch for GENTOUCH78 Tablet (available 1700EST)
Dear Augen Customers (GEN Nation),
Thank you for showing your support and interest in our GENTOUCH78 Tablet. We became aware of the technical difficulties over the past 24 hours, and we will be posting an update for a patch to the software at the following link: http://augen.helpserve.com/ under latest download files within the next 48 hours.
Just to mention a few technical difficulties we have found and are patching are:
the memory size of 284mb not being shown as 2GB will be corrected as this is a glitch in the software.
Android Market place not being able to download apps will be fixed in this patch, as this is a glitch in the software. As of right now the operating system and pre-loaded applications are using .5 Gb so the available space displayed should be approximately 1.5GB.
To solve the issue with the headphone jack being too small for a 3.5 mm headphone connection, we ask you to send us an email to [email protected] with your Name, Adress, eMail Adress along with a proof of purchase. We will be sending you at our expense the 2.5 mm headphones to go along with the unit within 15-20 days. All future products that will be manufactured will have the new patch and a 2.5mm earbud to go along with the unit.
We want to make it a great experience for our customers. We apologize for disappointing some of you, and we are doing our best to make it a great experience at Augen.
Thank you for your support,
Daniel Gofman

the screen sucks
I am one of the many who have been experiencing the random reboots. I have seen talk about it, but have not seen anyone really looking into why this is happening. Some people claim it happens only when docked, or when SD card is in etc. Yet others post that they still get the reboots without doing those things either.
I have been monitoring my reboot problem very closely. I have yet to determine the cause other than it only happens when the device is put into sleep mode manually or automatically, and I am looking for some help from some of the DEV's around here.
When our TF's do this reboot, it is a system crash. When this happens, a ROMDUMP file is placed on the internal "sd card".
These can be viewed with a simple txt editor, like windows notepad. I myself can not read the code and understand what info it is revealing to me. According to an Asus tech on the phone this file can tell you what went wrong and made the device reboot. However the buggers won't tell you crap over the phone and want me to send the device in with the ROMDUMP files.
When I try and read the files, I do see one thing in common, in 99% of them, right near the end of the file, or the very last line before the crash, this line is present,
Kernel panic - not syncing: Fatal exception in interrupt
<2>[ 162.985309] CPU1: stopping
If our reboot issue is kernal based, which would indicate it's a firmware issue;
I was thinking one of the talented DEV's around here could fix us up.
Hell maybe even just a reflash of the current firmware would fix the issue.
Anyway, if a DEV around here want to or willing to look into this, I have some ROM dumpfiles they can look at, just send me a PM.
For reference,
I have a B60K modle
Stock 3.1
GPS 1.3.1
Wifi 5.1.42
BluT 6.17
Kernal 2.6.36.3-00001-gf377a2b [email protected] #1
Build HMJ37.US_epad-8.4.4.5.2-20110603
Thanks.
I don't have any more dumps recently, deleted them so I can't pull up and see what mine said to give you, but wanted to just say I was having these multiple times a day every day and it started once I bought an AData 16GB SDCard for the dock. Then I ended up removing that card and bought a MicroSD 16GB card instead and it has quit doing the random reboots, so definitely seemed to be something with my SDCard in the dock.
Post your whole log here (as .txt or .zip) and I will look at it.
I've had these once or twice but have always deleted the file.
The Kernel Panic is the kernel's way of telling you that something unrecoverable has happened and the integrity of the whole OS is in question. Think of a kernel panic like a BSOD on Windows.
I've never seen that specific one before, but a quick Google search indicates it may be a problem with I/O operations - like bad RAM or a bad SD card.

Thanks for the response. I have included 4 RAMDUMP files. I find these 4 special because they all happened in quick succession. Four separate reboots all within 8 mins of each other without any interaction of the device myself. I never touched the device, I just sat there and staring at the device rebooting 4 times in 8 mins. On the final reboot the device never came back on. AT this point I picked up the device and had to hold the power button down for over 10 seconds for the device to come back on to an Asus splash screen. This was mins after I did a fresh factory reset via the OS options internally then a hard reset using the hardware buttons.
...It's a bug alright...
It doesn't seem to be caused by the same problem though, just that the watchdog program invokes a kernel panic and reboots. Weird. I'll backtrace it later and see what's up.
sassafras
went a whole day without a reboot. I did have an odd lock up/freeze at the lock screen where i couldnt unlock the device or get it to rotate the screen. It was locked up tight. Held hte power button down for 20 secs before it shut down. Rebooted, no new RAMdump created. No issues since.
sassafras_, Did you have any luck reading those ramdumps?
I did - sort of.
They're all related to the watchdog program assuming it's soft locked up. Which it may very well have been, but since you weren't using the device at the time, it's hard to know for sure.
The function's that were called immediately prior to the fault were different, which to me indicates that it's just buggy software. Honestly, without doing a backtrace I wouldn't know, but I can't without a system.map from around the time of the lockup. I'm going to assume it's just buggy code from 3.1 and wait and see if the 3.2 release lowers the rate of these. If not, then maybe I'll do some more digging.

Is there any progress on this issue? I bougth a brand new tf and during day random reboots maybe 50 times. And that romdumps are appeared on my internal storage. I dont have external sd by the way. Im stuck.
Hi.
Im having a same problem with my Transformer. Its a week old B60 and its reboots probably 50 times a day and give me log files.
Also im using Honeycomb 3.2
I really want to find out what is going on
i guess its a hardware issue or something.
i'm going to give back my TF today and take back a new one.
if i get same errors, i'll let you know.
I posted a workaround that helps immensely for rooted tablets somewhere around here. I can't find it tonight, but it's in one of the other 'random reboot' threads.

Did you ever find anything with this issue? I am on my second TF and it is exhibiting the same random reboot while sleeping issue as the first. I know you have a post on another thread indicating how to tell the kernel to ignore "oops" conditions - have you received any feedback on how that is working? I assume this requires root access, I haven't yet rooted my device.
I have collected a few ramdump log files, but as of now only one out of 6 shows a kernel panic. I am new to Android, and I am trying to make sense of the dump logs. It appears that these dumps are maintained in a ring buffer, so the last entries are usually somewhere in the middle, is that correct? All of them also have some garbage at the end, but I assume that is just another effect of the ring buffer strategy.
Like I said, I am new to Android, but I am a long time embedded and real-time programmer, and pretty handy in Linux. It seems to me that the log files aren't providing enough information, but I'm not sure how to debug kernel/system crashes in Android. If anyone could point me in the right direction of where I should look next to get more information on these crashes, perhaps we could get to the bottom of this problem.
From what I can tell via the logs, when the TF is sleeping, it wakes up from time to time for various reasons, then suspends when it is done. It looks like it is during this wake/suspend cycle that something occasionally goes wrong and causes the tablet to reboot.
I am hoping that this is a software/firmware issue (or a hardware issue that can be worked-around with software), because I really like the TF platform and this issue makes keeping apps like IM or email running while it the device sleeps kinda iffy.
Any help from the awesome experts here at XDA would be greatly appreciated, and I look forward to learning more of the gory details and inner workings of Android.
I have had the same issues. Configuring the kernel to ignore oops only helped a bit. The tf would still freeze in standby eventually (once a day or so). My supplier (i.e. not Asus) replaced it and my new tf (a SBK v2 one, unfortunately) has not rebooted once in 2+ weeks. So my guess is that it was a hardware issue (memory, something not coming out of backup mode properly, ...?). Not sure if one could work-around it in software.
Now, this was probably not very helpful but I thought I'd share my experience here. And possibly my tf suffered from an entirely different defect, although the symptoms were the same (ramdump logs from random reboots in standby, independent from wifi on/off, sync on/off, and lots of other settings I tried).
flipflipflip -
Thanks for your reply! I was hoping that it wasn't a hardware issue, and since I got two in a row with the identical problem I was thinking that maybe a software fix could get around it. After reading about your experience, I went ahead and returned it and ordered another one from a different source. Hopefully the third time's a charm!
I'm keeping my fingers crossed that this one is not an SBK v2, but I'll be happy just to have one without sleep-apnea!
This did give me a chance to load up ADB and poke around a bit under the hood of the last one, so if nothing else it is a learning experience. Hopefully I will have something to contribute to the community once I get my hands on a working device.
I know it's been a while (had a big work-related headache), but just wanted to post and let people know that I finally received a TF101 (B50!!) that seems to be working just fine - so I guess it was just a combination of bad luck and a hardware issue after all.
The only issue I have now is that sometimes when it is sleeping, it loses its internet connection (it still seems to be connected to the AP) - but I think I can work around that.
Cheers!
First post but have been reading this forum for a long time. This be the first time I have ran across an issue that has not been covered already on this forum or really any other. So here's the issue(s):
I have a stock X5 that is stuck on the Minix boot screen. I've made no attempts at modifying this device. This happened after watching some shoddy torrents of Breaking Bad. I had been noticing significant lag with the device prior to the downloads. Nothing other than standard media, social networking and gaming apps installed......there is a task killer on the device, the name escapes me at the moment.
Here's what I've tried:
1. Unplug all external devices (keyboard, external hard drives and removed SD card) and power up. Boot issue remains.
2. Unplug (then replug) power supply and start. Boot issue remains.
3. Hold reset button with pin and power up. DROID laying down with red triangle and exclamation comes up for a minute or two then it goes to the indef boot screen.
4. Held in reset button, power button and had girlfriend plug in the device. (I had no delusions of this doing anything but it stopped the gf's nagging to get it fixed for a while. I'm an electronics tech.....apparently that is the same thing as a programmer in her eyes.)
5. I've left the boot screen on for about 48 hours. Obviously this didn't fix anything.
6. Hooking the device up to my Samsung 7.7 tab. It turns on Android debugging on my tab but I really had no idea where I was going to go once I connected the devices. I just now thought of this and am planning on exploring this option a bit more with some searches. I'm quite sure there are no guides for working with these two specific devices though.
Hooking up to a computer to deal with recovery is not an option for me. I am not in the US and access to computers (other than an Internet cafe) is not an easy task. I am going to bet this is the best fix for most though.
My tab is rooted running PAC ROM if that is worth anything. This is currently my only real option for hooking up to another device. Hope to get some ideas here.
Hmm, so no one has any ideas? If using a comp is the only way can someone post how to recover an X5?

In case you didn't know, there is an (un)official Minix forum. May be they can help. (link)
Also, SomeCoolTech in YouTube has done a video on how to flash Minix X7. That could also be helpful.
Thanks for the reply. I was able to find someone to let me borrow their computer. Flashed the Finless ROM and it got it running again. The thing is not running smoothly though.
I had all kinds of issues then sent it in for rma, new x5 works perfectly, that is likely your best option. could you elaborate on your specific issues I am curious?
Hello, I am seeking advice/help...
I can see by looking and reading some of your writings and posts that yours and others time is worth alot... I am not sure on how much I could spend as I have already lost funds and had my bank accounts hacked. However I will gladly see what I can do if someone can hopfully help me...
I have been without proper internet for well over a month now.. I have changed my wireless routers out twice even added in a AP(hardware firewall)... My internet provider also suppliea optik TV and that is all ran through the same router.
At first I noticed some new programs would appear, things would be moved around some things would go missing... it was very unnoticeable unless you were paying attention.
Then the windows start up acreen would freeze for 5 minutes sometimes almost as if somethinf had froze the screen so that I wouldn't be able to see whats happening(Basically started getting worse - passwords being changed on me etc... - would lose my elevated privledges almost as if I was just a guest account)...
I even tried using CMD in dos to get my permission settings back and at first this would work but then the dos/cmd commands(whoami / ICACLS / and a few other commands would not work and say they don't exist... I also started to notice the size of my harddrive change.. I was never able to get it back to the right amount of GB. I tried to restore it many different methods as well (win7, linux, dos) nothing worked.. I then also noticed the MBR would constantly become corrupt and same with the hard drive.
So I looked into things and figured it must be the bios or cmos.. I tried to flash it and just decided I would start from scratch... However, everytime the computer restarts the old cmos/bios is back. I then also found things saved on (A: , B: and X) ... They were all write protected so I decided to pull the hard drive out. They still showed up even if I had the hard drive removed.
** X: is the boot drive as well so every time I tried to reinstall anything a bunch of extra files would get installed as well**
**Drive B had a volume named RamDrive..**
I ran some system/ tests in dos on the memory and kept getting errors but would not tell me what the problem was I finally figured out that it was a system error because the range went higher(above the 4gb that it's supposed to be)..
Now 4 laptops ruined... I just got a new laptop (win8.1) was never used and had never been turned on and after the initial startup/setup had extra software etc and now is stuck in infiniti boot loop....
Also similar stuff has happend or is happening with fax/printer, pvr, tv, ipad, iPhone, Android, wii, ps3, ps4.. dvd player, basically all media devices and anything wireless..
I have seen lots of evidence on remote connections through IOT, P2P/PHP, IPv4, IPv6, ssl, http(local group/work group) now it seems like things are communicating through a technique called air hopping or coupling. (RF, NFC, WIFI, IR, GPS/GSM, RFID, Altel Bluetooth and a few others). **I can remove the wireless card and laptops still connect**
They even got into a desktop computer that has no wirelsss or bluetooth card... and never gets plugged into the internet. Odd internet type numbers started calling my house phone also my house phone if I unplugged it etc... then powered it back up and didn't set date or time it would reset itself... The play stations would turn on and off them self... I tried reformattibg and missing a huge amount of GB.
Also, money was taken out of bank account as well.... anyone who goes to where this all is happening there cell phones get infected tooo... it seems to update tbe phones in fhe form of a push update aka broadcast signal.. Any help or input would be greatly appreciated...
another thing i noticed was files like index.dat/index.ini... desktop.ini. doubles of everything in my registry... and the fonts i couldnt change or delete... i noticed files from other devices listed on my phones and vice versa for things listed on the computer... if this isnt the right place for this i apolohgize...
also it appears as if my phone is rooted.. judging by the files and folders that are on my phone but it says not rooted. there is apps installed that i didnt put there and cant remove without being rooted.. my phones are constantly connected. factory reset doesnt work anymore... Neither does wipe cache. also constantly streaming data even if data is off and airplane mode. i keep seeng something about a 299-amtel.. redirect in any and all browsers...lots of adware as well.
im not even sure i will be able to ge back on here... if not you can try emailing me [email protected]... i appreciate any and all help.. thank you and sorry for the grammer juat trying to type this as fast as possible.
Your MEANINGLESS title is discouraging people from helping you.
Please at least use a simple sentence to summarize your problem in your title.
Anyway from what you're saying, you should report to the police, or if you have some friend with network and PC knowledge, ask him for help.
I'm really hoping that someone out there can help me out with this mess I have stumbled into.
Here's the not-so-short version of a long rabbit hole I had no idea I would be travelling down:
In the new Pokémon games there is a 1/4096 chance of encountering a rarer version of said Pokémon (by default). In order to obtain one of the "starter" Pokémon in this rare form, it takes about 110 seconds of sitting through loading screens and pushing the 'A' button repeatedly, per attempt. Assuming that I am guaranteed the rare version of this Pokémon after 4096 attempts, I would have to continue this for roughly 125 hours. Unfortunately That is not how statistics actually work. Needless to say 30 to 40 hours in, I have had enough of manually pushing 'A'.
I had the bright Idea to emulate a controller, record inputs, then replay them over and over, which could connect to the actual Nintendo Switch, and so I attempted to find solutions for both my PC as well as android phone. Unfortunately without hacking my Switch, it is technically impossible to do this with the PC. The phone was a different story. An app exists currently on the play store which allows one to emulate a pro-controller and connect to the console. Perfect.
Except that app requires particular functionality which my normal phone does not have, or might have but I do not wish to root that one. My solution wound up to me attempting to emulate an android device, and connect to my switch through the emulator, using Bluetooth.
I was able to successfully set up a VM, and get android x86 running on it, but that is where my success ended. I have reached a road block in terms of getting Bluetooth to pass through my computer to the emulator. In collaboration with VirtualBox's forums, we have reached the point of believing that installing the drivers from the Bluetooth dongle may resolve our issue.
I think I have all the resources needed to do it, I just don't know the method of how. Android, VMs, and Linux are just barely outside my realm of knowledge. Can someone help me sort my puzzle pieces and figure out what I need to get it to work?

To be proactive, here are some of the resources and details I figure might be helpful.

GitHub/potential Bluetooth driver link:

Android version: android-x86-8.1-r6
Bluetooth Dongle Version: Kinivo Bluetooth receiver/transmitter (Broadcom BCM20702)

In my attempts to install the driver that I believe is correct, I was able to download the .hcd file listed in the GitHub link above. However my attempt to move it to /lib/firmware/brcm/ is denied, telling me that the file is Read-Only. Attempting to chmod, chown, along with other commands which I have since forgotten has resulted in no further progress. At this point my current problem is this:
How the heck do I move this .hcd file into /lib/firmware/brcm/ ? Will this even solve my issue?
tldr; I want a slightly-different colored grass turtle. I'm completely over-engineering a solution by setting up an android vm to do the work for me while I watch. Bluetooth ain't working, and I have no idea how to fix it.
