Hey guys, i recently notice my moto g rotates the screen way too often i wish it would, across the whole system, rom writing messages to pictures and everything, including of course games (i play just one, not really a gamer). It started getting on my nerves and i wanted to recalibrate the sensor so it stops rotating the screen every time i put the phone in a slight uneven position. There is no such tool in settings. Is there any solution regarding this ? i am rooted so ill take anything. Thank you !
I just deactivate auto-rotation on all my phones, it's annoying.

thx for the tip but i prefer to keep it active, sometimes i do want to rotate my screen. i just to know if i can calibrate it somehow. Anyone else ?
Same problem here. It's waaay too sensitive.
Yeah, I noticed that too. I just keep it off most of the time and enable it only when needed (which is not that often).
Perhaps you could try leaving the phone's auto rotation off and using a tasker gesture to trigger the orientation change.
Hi, I had the same problem and the only solution I came up to for now was to download an Xposed module called App settings, with it you can choose which apps can use the rotation or choose a specific rotation, I know it doesnt solve the sensibility problem, but at least its not that annoying anymore hehe

In my Moto G 1gen rotation dont work. While playing for example Temple Run 2 there is no tilt control

The pb does not exist in CM13
I have already running in cm13, the control on lockscreen is available (Not available in stock rom).

Not heard of them before, but it doesnt really matter - its MTCD so the most of the hardware and the ROM is the same as any other MTCD.

I d guess hold down power and reset, release reset, release power, but ask in the MTC forums to check.
Maybe someone can help me!!! I have exactly the same unit as LMarr. I think that this TMOTEC s..it was upgraded to 5.1.1 and before was 4.4.4 because there's so many problems with it. For example, I cannot make volume louder or reverse, silence. There's some settings for KNOB MODE and whatever settings I choose, knob volume is not acting properly, meaning, if I turn right, to increase volume, and left,to decrease volume. Or if I try to change knob led colors, it keep showing the same color, blue. If I try to set wheel buttons, there's no chance, they are already preset. Please help.

I cannot change the button LED colours...
I have no setting to do that...
Mine was born as a 5.1.1...
Who updated your unit from 4.4.4 to 5.1.1 ?
not all units support led color changing.. some have single colored leds specially those designed for specific car models..
If your car has Canbus, then you can not use the wheel study app.. your only bet to change the steering wheel controls is using MTCD-tools. search the forum

if your unit had android 4.4 then my guess is it is an MTCB and not an MTCD.. haven't seen any MTCD with 4.4

I have the exact same model in my passat. I have newest ROM from malaysk, ver. 11.5. It works fine. I didn't expected to be that good.
There is only one annoying thing. When I turn on ignition radio starts playing and is all good. After I start the car it loses the reception. I have to switch it off and on again manually by pressing power button. Then it comes back to normal and the radio is playing as it should. It happens only to radio, other music players working with no problem.
Does anybody have any idea what could be done to fix it?

Really slick and fast. Does not work properly on my Samsung s7 edge tho. If my screen is set to HD the mirrored image is a small section in top left. I have to go Quad HD, to get the screen to be mirrored and fill the screen but then the touch response is way off. I touch the screen and it presses about 2 cm's away

Could you please take a picture how does it look in case of HD? I could not test the app on all devices but maybe I will be able to fix it.
Edit: I think I know where the problem is. It looks like S7 has different aspect ratio than the HU. Tommorow or at Saturday I will try to prepare a fix.

I'm guessing head unit must be Android 5+? Shame if so as I think most head units on market are still 4+. Anything stopping support for v4 devices?

Yes, HU must be at least Android 5 (Lollipop). Lollipop introduced alot improvements for the codecs which are used in MtcdMirroring so I decided to limit it to API 21 and higher.

Attached pictures. Only WQHD (2560 x 1440) filled the entire screen but touch screen is way way off on all resolutions.

It must be installed on the Head Unit.
I'm unable to use the software.
Head Unit: PX5 8-core A53 Cortex @ 1.5GHz, 2GB RAM, 32GB storage with KGL MCU
Phone: Nexus 6P with PureNexus ROM
I'm connecting my phone via one of the rear-mounted USB ports on the head unit (which appear to be USB host ports, rather than the OTG port on the front). When I connect and start your application, I'm able to connect briefly, getting a screen capture from my phone. However, within a fraction of a second, I get a message saying that the connection has been lost. Sometimes I am able to exit the application, but sometimes the entire system hangs. I do have Xposed installed, but the only plugin I'm running is AppSettings, and I don't have any settings configured for your application.
Is there anything you can suggest?

It looks like a problem with the USB connection. Have you tried to connect the phone with different USB cable? Also maybe your phone needs more current than USB port can deliver. In developer you should be able to change USB connection type. By default it is MTP connection - try to change it to something like "charge only" and test.

It is possible but it is quite risky . In case of any USB connection interruption MtcdMirroring would not be able to "undo" such settings and you would stay with the forced landscape orientation. I think you can try to find an application on the Play store which can force the screen orientation.

Install latest good lock app from below. Its working fine in S7 (SM-G930FD)

9. Open Good lock 2018.
After install all apps for good lock 2018, insert Sim.

I don't see potrait mode in Samsung home after update.
Hi. I'm using Routines on my S7 edge. I made a task to open Waze when my phone is connected on BT with my car radio. Works fine... even on my Helmet BT Sena.
But... the trouble is that I can't do the inverse... close Waze when BT is disconnected....
I don't see the actions both on "condition (BT disconnect) " and "Action (Close app)"

You need root and a good app like macrodroid, AutomateIt or Tasker (there are even more apps to archive that) to do this. But with these apps you will get a real "smart phone" [emoji106]
