Unlocked Sprint Note 5 on Cricket (AT&T) No LTe 3G only - Sprint Samsung Galaxy Note5

I have an unlocked Sprint Note 5 on cricket which is AT&T. Everything is working but I am unable to get 4G to connect. Is there any fix for this? I am currently rooted and running the MOAR Nougatized QC5 ROM. Thanks for the help.

1. Make sure you set APN for carrier you are on (below is ATT. Not sure about Crickett)

APN phone

MMSC http://mmsc.mobile.att.net
MMS proxy proxy.mobile.att.net
MMS port 80

APN protocol IPv4
Bearer Unspecified
2. Call carrier and have them add your IMEI to system.

[Q] help!! My HTC Sensation stopped picking up T-Mobile after I used it overseas :(

I unlocked my HTC Sensation and used it in the US for over a month after unlocking it. I traveled overseas and used it there but when I came back it wouldn't pick up T-Mobile network and won't see ATT neither. I tried factory reset and still didn't work. Is there anyone out there who can suggest something? anything?
Thank you all
I would call 611 and ask for support and tell them whats going on. maybe they will give you a code to get u.s signals back..... you can also check your apn.
Have you checked your APN? Try resetting it. You can do that through settings>Wireless and Networks>Mobile Networks>Access Point Names, press menu> Reset to Default.
Wasn't me!! I didn't do it!
Thanks to all.
I can't dial 611 because the phone doesn't pick up the network at all. And I tried to reset the network setting and still no luck.
does changing the Rom solve such an issue?
Anyone who reads this make sure this is the only APN on your list.

After changing the settings, I tried to manually search for network. it recognized the T-Mobile network but when I tried to connect to it it said "your sim card does not allow connection to this network" even though it's the same card that works in the cheep phone I'm using for now

ATT/Straight Talk APN settings

Just got my Nexus 5.
I took my ST SIM from my Nexus 4 and popped it into the new phone. Phone service works, no data service. I inputed my old N4 APN settings, and got data, but at the HSPA+ speeds. I tried setting the APN setting to " tfdata" as suggested elsewhere for LTE service, but lost all data.
Can someone please share their ATT ST APN settings? Or do I need a new SIM card?
Thanks.
From what I have heard... 2 possibilities. If you were using att.mvno, you need a new sim card. If you had a tfdata apn sim card, you can spend hours on the phone with straight talk tech support, and eventually you will find someone who knows how to enable lte on your tfdata sim, or you can order a new sim for $7 that will automatically be lte

I used the settings in the screen shots on pg 4,5 i believe... H+ and LTE work great.

Thank you all.
I 've already tried the settings posted. Looks like I need a new SIM and I just ordered one from ST.

Just to be sure you are saving the apn and then selecting it right?...? for LTE I had to reboot....otherwise H+ would only stay on.

Yes, and I also deleted the other APN's. Rebooted multiple times.
How old is your SIM card?

I ordered it probably like within a month ago. You are probably right, just wanted to make sure you had it checked and stuff.

Well, I went ahead and got a new SIM card from ST, and the settings now work perfectly.
My OP question was do I need a new SIM card. Yes I do.
Fixed itself!
Good day
I authorized a NEXUS 5 Sunday, ATT Micro Sim from Straight Talk
I used the APN settings from the website, last Sunday without any luck receiving MMS messages
I tried every setting on XDA I could find without any receive MMS success
I ordered a new Sim hoping to eliminate or correct my receive issuse, it will arrive tomorrow
Last night I received a confirmation from Straight Talk thanking me for my Auto Refill Signup
MMS receive started working right after that, go figure.:highfive:
Guess I didn't need a new Sim after all
I am on the Straight Talk APN Settings, nothing different.

Just visit your ATT store or call them. I was stuck with H for a day until they had to create a service request for a higher tech person to fix it.
Make sure they prevision your plan to "4G LTE". It can be taken care of over the phone.
I have the same issue, however I'm on a dealer line so I can't have customer service change it, I have to have my rep do it and he is having trouble figuring it out, and so my at&t rep says that he thinks its because I didn't have an LTE phone prior to this (nexus 4) so he is gonna try to change my imei to his G2 he doesn't use

Ah ok then make sure they provision your imei to work! Make sure to talk to a tier 2 representative if the first person doesn't do it or something

I remember reading in another thread that the IMEIs on the n5 don't register as an lte capable phone in AT&Ts system. You may need to obtain one from a phone that is confirmed to work on their LTE, or have CS generate one for you by telling them you can't find yours. Wish I could find the thread, but they get buried so fast around here.
Keep in mind that this info was from a few days ago so it could just be that AT&T wasn't prepared for the launch...they may have already fixed the problem.

If you put in a sim card from a HSPA only phone before switching to LTE or a new sim then you may need to do a factory reset. That was the only solution that worked to get me on LTE as I was also stuck on HSPA. Could be worth a shot if you don't figure it out.
Yeah just had to call at&t to have them re-switch on my LTE. When I was using an old iPhone 3gs they "turn it off". Thanks for all the support!

@ATT Intruder,
1) verify that you have the correct SIM card according to your data plan e.g. LTE SIM. Link provided here is for AT&T.
2) Register your OPO's IMEI number in your local carrier's system by visiting the local store & verify the status bar shows e.g. LTE next to the data connection.
I hope this helps.

Appreciate your feedback. None of that is the issue, if you click on the link you'll see what many of us are dealing with. It's a known bug.
Thanks again, I do appreciate it.

EDIT: I am an idiot, it's an APN problem. Would still appreciate help.

OKAY. So. The problem, in fact, had nothing to do with SIMlocking. It was trying to use a preinstalled T-mobile APN instead of the Ting APN.
One might think this would be the end of the problems, but it was not. I went in and manually selected the Ting APN. At this point I'm getting a normal LTE data indicator, and mobile data and SMS work, but phone calls still aren't. There are two separate Ting APNs, one for data and one for MMS. The one for MMS looked correct, but the one for data was missing information. Ting was supposed to send an automatic update to the phone to fix this, but although I was sent the message saying that they were sending it, it was not actually sent. So I went in to manually edit the APN according to these instructions:
APN settings for an X1 SIM cardNameTing DataAPNwholesaleMMSC
http://wholesale.mmsmvno.com/mms/wapenc
APN type*default,admin,fota,mms,supl,hipri,internet,dunMCC310MNC260APN protocolIPv4 / IPv6APN roaming protocolIPv4 / IPv6
Except I can't edit the Ting data profile. I can edit the SMS profile (though I don't want to, because it's not broken), and I can create a new profile, but I can't edit this one. So I think, okay, I'll make a new one and switch to that one. When I try to save it, it says my carrier doesn't allow profiles with the dun type, which is odd given it's in the default but I don't see why I'd actually need dial-up networking anyway, so I take that one out and save. It saves. I switch to that one. It switches.
I still cannot make calls.
Does anyone know why editing the data APN profile is locked, and how I can unlock it? Has anyone else had issues getting their carrier recognized by the new 19.1 LineageOS? What can I do to try to fix this? As much as I love the idea of never getting an actual phone call again, they are occasionally necessary.

ORIGINAL TITLE AND POST:
H830 relocking (? maybe something else?) sim when LineageOS 19.1 is installed. Is there a fix?
I know there are already a million threads about trying to unlock H830s without access to the official app/with an ineligible phone/with a bad IMEI, etc. I have access to the official app and my IMEI clears just fine with my phone service provider. I'm... not hopeful, but given it is a different situation I thought it wouldn't hurt to ask.
Bought a phone sold as unlocked, then went through a convoluted process mostly following this guide (see my notes at the end) to get the bootloader unlocked and get Lineage 19.1 on there. At the stage with 15.1 unofficial lineage, it recognized my Ting sim card but seemed a little buggy, with fluctuating, mostly poor signal (as, honestly, one might expect from an early unofficial build). I didn't stay there long enough to investigate much further, but will do so later. At the stage with 19.1, it was locked to T-mobile again, though it also seemed to think my sim card was a T-mobile card, and allowed MMS but not calls. Knocked it back to stock 20A and used the app to "permanently" unlock it, which went without a hitch. Repeated the process, same result.
Is there any way to get this phone properly unlocked?
EDIT: The more I poke at this, the more I think the device really is unlocked properly now and something else weird is going on here. If it was just locked, my Ting SIM card shouldn't work at all and I should get some kind of alert about it, right? Instead the phone's listing T-mobile as my carrier and letting me send SMS, but not phone calls. Ting registers its existence as well, and I get signal on the signal indicator, just with a little "something is wrong" type exclamation point on it.
Here's some APN settings I found by setting my phone back on stock 20A (again) and going through the whole process of getting Lineage 19.1 on there (again).
