[Q] ADW crashed my Captivate. Help!

So I was trying to edit my home screens, delteting them to start from scratch. The process was laggy. Then I got a Force Close screen

I hit Force Close --- and the Force Close Screen comes on again
and again
and again
Turn the phone off and on, FC screens again
reboot in safe mode FC again
How do I get my phone back?

I just tried to reboot again and now I have the yellow robot sweeping "Downloading" screen.
I really did nothing strange. Did ADW.launcher just brick my phone?

Basically, I can't do anything. I tried deleting cach. Deleting user data. Nothing on the recovery screen changed anything.
The phone boots up and gets to the locked screen, but as soon as I swipe to unlock the endless loop of ADW.launcher force close screens begins.
Kill ADW.launcher!

Nothing? Oh well.

Odin3 One Click Stock Rom. Should get you all back to usable. Personally I haven't had ANY issues with the ADW.Launcher and I've done all sorts of weird things on my phone. I didn't like LauncherPro.

Thank you so much for the response. I've seen the posts about Odin before, but I didn't know what it was, or else I would have went right there. It seems to have worked, getting back to the stock set-up. Thanks!
Definitely not going to reinstall ADW. I liked it but it just went berzerk on me.

I have a epic, and use the official EB13, this afternoon, when I was trying to create a short cut of a website to my home screen, this happened suddenly:"Sorry！ the application TwLauncher (process com.sec.android.app.twluancher)has stopped unexpectedly. please try again"
It comes out again and anain, I have to turned off my phone and restart it, but it still comes out, I then tried to take the battery out, but it doesn't work.
Now every time I try to go to the home screen, the phone just vibrate and come out the sign:"Sorry！ the application TwLauncher (process com.sec.android.app.twluancher)has stopped unexpectedly. please try again", and this sign appeared again and again so I can't use it. Phone and message works but I can't go into the home screen so I can't open other applications...
As I've installed a lot of applications , I don't want to use Odin, is there a way to fix this problem?
By the way，even if I want to use odin , I can't download the "SPH-D700-EB13-8Gb-REL.tar.md5".In China, many websites such as youtube, facebook and twitter are forbidden, and multiupload.com is one of them, so I can't download it...
It's 22:46 in China now, and my school is going to cut off the electricity, I'll come back tomorrow.I really appreciate it very much if any of you can help me.

Can you access the Browser or Market? If so go to it and download Launcher Pro.... once that is done you can then go through your phone and delete and reinstall TW Launcher
if you can't
1)Take out Battery....and replac
2) Hold both Up and Down Volume and press Power...Holding all three
3) It will take you to a Blue Menu....With volume control up or down/power to select...Select Delete all user data..
4) Select reboot phone
5) Now your back at the wizard...Scroll "NEXT" till you get a link
click on the link a and the browser opens
6) go to 4 shared . com and look for launcher pro.
7) download and install
viola!!! Done! YW

Launcher Pro works great! Thank you very much!
But I can't delete TW Launcher yet, I find a video in youtube, but as I've said, I can't see it...

Now everything works well. I go into the settings, choose all, find twlauncher, force stop, clear data. then I come to the home screen, and it works again!
But I find that I like Launcher pro better now ~_~

[Q] Moto G wont respond after switching ON

Hi people
I need some serious help!!
I bought Moto G from US which was working fine until now. I played rip tide and the phone got struck when i pressed home button in the middle of the game. So i restarted the phone.
Now, after restarting the phone boots up normally and comes to home screen (Smart Launcher). But, if i press anywhere in the screen, phone hangs and there is no response.
Actually, after booting i am able to go to settings from lock screen and work on settings. However, when i go to homescreen phone freezes.
The same thing happened last month and I did a factory reset and everything worked fine.
This time i dont want to do that as I lost all my contacts. photos,videos after factory resetting.
Please help me on this.

Please help me on this!!!

If you can access the settings menu, go in and delete Smart Launcher, then reboot.
See if thats the issue.

Black screen of death with Lollipop?

Pressing "back" or "home", sometimes the screen goes black and I cannot interact with the UI. Am I the only person to have this problem? Is an APP, XPOSED or just Android?
p.s. a temporary solution is to change the profile, Android will detect the UI crasshed solving the problem, so just go back to your profile without any reboot needed.

Which phone and ROM are you using? Never had this happen on my 8 GB xt1032 with stock Telus 5.02.

Moto G 2013, rooted, stock, xposed, nova luncher. I already tried to disable everything. Nothing, black screen happening when I press "home" and "back" too fast.

I turn screen on, the running apps menu displays instead of home screen?

Okay, this is a little thing that for whatever reason is driving me bonkers. Bonkers I tell ya!
I recently updated to 5.1.1. Stock, but rooted and unlocked. I then installed xposed and some modules. I changed a lot, so it's hard to narrow down what is causing this.
When I turn my screen on, my main home screen should show up. You know the button on the bottom right that brings up a list of running apps? That's what shows up instead. So every time I turn on my screen, I need to hit the home button first. Bonkers I tell ya!

Update: Looks to be fixed thanks to Ben36! Keeping this post up in case other people have this problem. I had no luck searching for it.

Download another launcher so it asks you to set default again

I don't know why I didn't think about that. Good idea! I switched to Google and back to Nova, checked nova settings, restarted nova, rebooted phone... now we wait. It doesn't have this problem if I turn the phone screen back on quickly, but if I let the phone sit for a bit and then turn it on, it happens. I'll report back after work as solved if it doesn't happen by then.
