Dear Xda Developers,
I have a s6 (G920F) from a friend, his phone failed on updating and got in a boot loop. The phone is from Israel and I live in the Netherlands so he didn't get any warranty here in the Netherlands. So I flashed the stockrom from Israel to it but I got this screen:

If I wait a while it goes to recovery, I can still access download mode. I got the rom from SamMobile, I also tried flashing the French and Netherlands rom all from sam mobile to it but no success same outcome. tried factory wipe also nothing. I got also the 4 file firmware from the program samfrim and also the Israel version but no luck either, I'm out of ideas so far. hope you can help me.

Look HERE. There is all what you need. Just download latest stock via SamFirm (or www.updato.com) then flash it via latest Odin3. For get download mode just press Volume - & Power & Home for 30 seconds, phone must show you download mode. After correctly flashed first go to stock recovery menu (Volume +, Power, Home) and do factory reset (format data) and wipe dalvik/cache, then normally reboot to system.

For sure correctly flashed latest firmware for your model? And did factory reset etc? Try flash CF-Auto-Root then TWRP (both via Odin3). After that go to recovery menu (TWRP) do full wipe and try clean install any custom ROM.

I didn't tried LOS. But do a full-wipe (format all) and try just another, the best choose is stock-based ROM, for example OdexLite. If everything will be good then look for another ROM. My favorite is Noble S8 Port (NNE5.1).

If you downloaded correctly latest TWRP for your model, must works without any problems like for milions people.
P.S.
Try to reflash latest stock 7.0 via Odin then after finished just go to stock recovery menu, do factory reset and wipe dalvik/cache then reboot to system and check how its going.

After flashed stock when you tryin get to recovery menu you see no command that's it right? If phone show you "no command" try to use Volume's buttons or Home, you should see just recovery menu options after few clicks.

Hello brother, the only way is to install twrp, you don't need to open the bootloader, first install twrp with Edin, secondly, in the install twrp section, install the Magisk root zip file and hit reboot, then it will come up, then if you jump the serial with Octopus box, the serial fix it

Ruben , you dont need cf root , You have TWrp? Install this version https://eu.dl.twrp.me/zeroflte/twrp-3.2.1-0-zeroflte.img.tar.html via odin or unpack get the image out of it and flash in twrp as IMG and recovery ..then in TWRP look for tab FORMAT DATA , type yes , then when done hit home in TWRP and select reboot back into recovery , When back in recovery , install Android 10 or 11 ,by Enesuzun , don't flash old outdated ROMS , last build is Feb 2022 ROM 11 , do as I said and your done. NO need ROOT MAGISK or all of that ,

Hi guys,
I have an Bootloader unlocked MZ608 with 3.2.2.
Code:
0.268.4.MZ608.Retail.en.EU
1.6.0_268.4-MZ608
When I check for the update, I get 77.128.14.en.EU notification. I download it and say update. The system restarts and the update comes to a degree but then it fails showing up Android with exclamation mark.
I have downloaded Blur_Version.0.281.4.MZ608.Retail.en.EU and copied it to SD card. But I can not get into recovery mode to instal that too. When I try to get into recovery mode I get exclamation mark followed by a restart.
BTW, the device is MZ608 32 GB but it shows up in Motocast and device manager as MZ609.
What is the procedure that I should follow?
Thanks

That wouldn't work as your Xoom 2 ME is not from Latin America and Motorola has different signatures for U.S., Europe and LATM...
What are you trying to do to get into recovery?
Have you tried to turn on usb debugging and using ADB to enter recovery? Just type adb reboot recovery and it should reboot into recovery, it will take a while, you should see a Green Android after about a minute, and then you can press VOL- and VOL+ to get the list of options... If that doesn't work, then it is likely that something is wrong/corrupt, I would recommend that you check if there is a SBF file for the Honey Comb distribution for your region and flash it using RSD Lite to restore everything back to stock... I know of at least two friends that had failed updtes due to corrupt files in /system (they did not pass the OTA check meaning that they are different from what is expected or they were deleted).
Also, you didn't try any of the recent hacks (safestrap/bootstrap recoveries), right? If you did, then I believe you would have to revert those hacks, or just flash the device back to factory condition using a SBF / RSD Lite, just remember to choose the right SBF file for your region, otherwise, device won't even boot.
Good luck

To get into recovery, I boot up the device with Vol + / - pressed. An dthen choose recovery and press vol +. The tab reboots and after about 2 minutes, I am in the middle of nowhere....reboot and the OS comes..
I have flashed SBF, that did not help either...
First I flashed the original:
1.6.0M-268.4-FLEMEM_UCATBLT1UMRTCOREEU_fastboot.xml.zip
then this one:
1.6.0M-281.8-FLEMEM_UCATBLT1UMRTCOREEU_fastboot.xml
I didn't try any hacks...
Now trying adb...
Update: That didn't work either. Same... 10 seconds of red M logo, 10 seconds black screen, 4 minutes android with exclamation mark and in the end restart into OS....
Thanks for the reply.
Please post all questions in the Q & A section. Thanks! Thread moved.

I too was in your situation ... your device is the Xyboard mz609 to enter into recovery simultaneously press vol. on vol. down and power on, you will see a screen where you will have several choices ... with vol. down you move. with vol. on choose. if you see a triangle simultaneously press vol. up and vol. down and will go into recovery. with the device turned on you can use quick boot (from the market) to enter recovery and bootloader. when you enter bootloader you read unlocked? if it is unlocked you can have a custom recovery like me. thanks to runandhide05.
Holy! I am in recovery! Thanks man. Really appreciated!

okay, let's see how I can help. I do not know English and use the google translator. I installed honeycomb for mz608 but I did not upgrade to ics. I then installed the fastboot files for honeycomb mz609 http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1756100 and got the ics ota update. I also think that you can install ics for mz608 but only with fastboot files. sorry for my english.
OK. I am now downloading the honeycomb MZ609 fastboot.
Update: Flashed. The tab went into bootloop. Turned it off and went into recovery. Done wipe. Tried to flash OTA ZIP but gave signature verification error.
Update 2: Successfull reboot this time after wipe. I have noticed that baseband version says Unknown. Should I do something for that? I don't have a SIM to try.

I'm sorry, I forgot to tell you that you had to wipe. I also unknown baseband version and I imei-meid. I do not have microsim to try, but if you flash honeycomb mz608 imei again. I do not know why, but I prefer to have ics yet. when I find the files fastboot ics mz608 then I reflash.
I have found the version in build.prop:
1.6.0_281.4-MZ608
Flashed it with RSD. Now trying OTA again. Baseband is back BTW. Where is the IMEI writing?
Update: No luck with updating, again. Damn. Going to try recovery...
Update 2: Tried OTA Update. Got error:
assert failed: motorola.motoflash("/tmp/bp.img")

BTW, my friend have the exact tab with same specs that was successfully updated via OTA. Can I backup the ICS inside it and then install that backup to my tab via custom recovery?
Also another question: Can I flash MZ609 verizon fastboot? I will replace the radio IMG from Honeycomb fastboot in order to prevent baseband brick.
To sum up:
We have two tabs in hand. One was updated to ICS via OTA and works fine as below. But the other is resisting!
Can't update via OTA.
Can't update via Recovery.
And th worst, there is no Fastboot for MZ608
Help me out guys, please

Yes, you can flash the mz616 fastboot files, should work,
If it fails, you can always reflash honeycomb fastboot ones, but i think it will work.
Make sure you erase your user data at the end of process fastboot erase userdata

Ok, I've done everything right, but nothing has changed.. perhaps I should try to flash a gingerbread kdz, but I wasn't able to find any of them :/
Had this issue yesterday. You will need wkpart bootloader to make it boot and flash recovery.
Follow the guide http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=43672348
After flashing this, recovery will work, so you can wipe data.

Before you start, unrar all 3 files and instal MTK Drivers.
1. Run Sp Flash Tool as Admin, check that in Downlaod Agent says MTK_AllInOne_DA.bin, and in Scatter put the one tha is inside the firmware folder.
2. Leave everything as is and press Download, turn off your Y360-U61 and plug it to your PC using an USB cable.
3. If the drivers were properly installed, Sp Flash Tool will recognize your phone and start writing data to it automatically. This will take some minutes.

4. When the process is done you will see a green check and the phone will be shutdown. Now is safe to close Sp FlashTool, disconnect your phone and turn in on.
5. Since this is a first boot and Android have to build caches and stuff it might take some time and even restart itself in the process. Eventually you'll reach the setup wizard. If you end up with a bootloop, ramdom reboots, etc, perform a Factory reset from the recovery menu.
How to perform a factory reset from the recovery in the Y360To do this you dont need a custom recovery, it can be done using the stock recovery that comes on your Y360.
1. Turn off your Y360 and press Vol+ y Power until you see the white text.
2. With Vol+ select recovery and press Vol- to enter.
3. Your y360 will reboot and enter into the recovery menu
4. Once on the recovery, use volume keys to go up and down and power to select. Go to Wipe data / Factory Reset
5. Go to Yes and press Power, the hard reset will start, it takes seconds. You can see the status in the log at the bottom of the screen.
6. Go back to the man menu of the recovery and select Reboot system Now pressing Power. Your 360 will reboot.
7. Again, this will be a long boot since Android has to build caches and stuff. Luckily your phone will be trouble free once it boots up and you complete the setup wizard.
In this video you can see how to flash the firmware and how to perform the hard reset from the recovery menu. You can also notice how was getting random reboots after flashing the firmware and i solved this performing the factory reset.

Update Y360 via OTAThe firmware i left is B116 which i think is the latest an has no updates.
For Information purposes:
The firmware i gave you is B104, but in the huawei servers exist the b107 patch. So the very first thing you should do after installing the firmware is updating. Specially if you plan on rooting, OTAs will break root.
Once your y360-U61 is up and running, connect to a wifi network and go to Settings to run the updater. Like i said you will find the B107 update, which is about 90MB.
After the download is complete you have to give the order to install the update, from now on the process is automatic, the phone will restart and the update will be installed.
Once it finishes, you can go to updates again to check your version, it should be B107 and it should say there's no more updates.
Install TWRP for the Huawei Y360TWRP is a custom recovery which allows you to flash zips to modify or change your system. You need the mediatek drivers, sp flashtool and the .img file of TWRP.

firmware zip password is wrong
My Huawei is bricked
Hi,
my Huawei Y360-U61 dual-SIM boots but then blocks with continuous pop-ups or reboots.
I tried to update the firmware ROM via MicroSD card using many versions (full update and OTAs) from a website that provides many ROM versions, but without success. When I boot in recovery mode it says that the firmware version is Y360-U61V100R001C577B111 (I found and tried with this and successive versions without success), and I always perform a factory reset after updating and rebooting. I also tried connecting my phone to my laptop then using SP flash tools with the firmware version you provided on this thread (that should correspond to version V100R001C480B104c for the device model Y360-U23, or V100R001C443B104, or Y360-U31V100R001C05B104 both for the device model Y360-U31), I also tried in fastboot mode and ADB mode, again without success. My phone was bought in Italy about 3 years ago (2015 or so), and maybe I inadvertently rooted it, then tried to have an unblock code from Huawei consumer support but they eventually said that there is no code for my smartphone.
Before throwing away my phone, do you have any hint in this regard on how to eventually solve the problem?
Thank you
Bruno

I found and tried with success a way to install TWRP without the need of a PC:
- Root your device with KingRoot (APK is available on apkpure.com);
- Install MobileUncleTool (I found version 3.0 here: https://androiddatahost.com/414a2 )
- Download a custom recovery in SD Card root (the one in the opening post)
- Start Mobileuncle Tools and open Recovery Update menu item (grant su permissions when asked)
- Select and install the just downloaded custom recovery
Hey People,
I had just had an Google Play Services update and Integrate into /System by "Lucky Patcher"
But when restarting phone message appears "Custom Binary Blocked by FRP"...
with this problems occurred not only in System, but occurres in "Bootloader", "Recovery" mode also..

2. Click "Volume Down", "Power" and "Home" button for 5 seconds...
3. When Download Mode appears, Connect Usb cable into your Computer.

Sorry for replying to an older thread but i'm having the same issue.
The phone I have is a Samsung Galaxy s9+ (SM-G965F/DS is writen on the box).
I've downloaded firmware from sammobile and with Frija none of which worked (tried all of the Android 10 (Q) versions from sammobile)
I'm using Odin 3.14.50 and installed Samsung usb drivers from Samsung SmartSwitch.
I'm pretty sure the country code should be BGL (Bulgaria) but i haven't found a good way to check it with what i have accessible
The phone isn't rooted and hasn't been before nor has anyone tried to root it.
The issue appeared during normal use (was scrolling FB when it started stuttering and glitching and it restarted)
Samsung logo is not visible just Custom Binary Blocked by FRP
This is the download mode if it helps but i'm in a desperate need to recover this phone.

No. It will not Flash or format the whole firmware or device. and yes, i know you have to Save your data the most of the phone. But in such situations, probably the phone has to be cleaned formatted to remove FRP completely.

Remove FRP Lock on Samsung with Combination File (Odin)
Here are some easy tricks to easily remove FRP lock on Samsung Galaxy devices by flashing Samsung combination file (firmware) using Odin.

But i think it can format your whole device. Because we have to mostly unlock the recovery partition from FRP. If recovery Partition has unlocked by FRP, There's 80-100% chances that you can save all your further data on phone if TWRP Recovery get booted on your phone.
Just have a try to given link, because we have just to "Bypass FRP" from the device in order to boot into recovery Partition.
If any problem persists, Please reply me with given screenshots.

Stock ROMs aren't "custom", so they shouldn't be blocked. But before you try flashing from Odin, it might be a good idea to try restoring your corrupted system by performing a "factory reset" from the standard recovery. This won't wipe any pictures, videos, music or downloads, but will delete any apps you may have installed, along with their data. You WILL need your Google Account login and password when you first reboot after the reset. If that doesn't work, it may be a hardware malfunction and not firmware.

I can't get into recovery even with the software from frija.
The instructions require access to recovery but I wasn't able to get into it.
Twrp is still failing even with different versions
Should I try a phone repair shop? I just don't trust they will keep the data.

Okay. Just tell me Your Country and let me search a firmware for you..
Mostly in such cases, it's been hard bricked, that's why it can't going into recovery mode also.
I will find a firmware that's matches your device. Flash all of firmware on device. But it will remove your whole data. But your device be in working condition too.
If this doesn't resolve, kind go to samsung repair shop to troubleshoot it.

Hi There I have the same problem where I cannot flash toany ROM and it just shows FRP Binary lock , please advise .
Hi there,
I tried to install a updated version of android on the 10.1, installed TWRP, managed to run it through quick boot (couldn't make it work through pressing power and volume down), wiped everything as indicated, tried to install lineage 19 and then error 255. Since then when I start the device either I start in the normal recovery with the download option (not sure if I can do something through Odin there) or normal start-up and I am stuck on the devide's name.
Any idea if I can recover something from here?
Many thanks!
