I believe you should hold. Got my Nokia 3 ftom the repair and they said they replaced the whole board

Seems the update has been pulled did the couple updates got out the box still on 7.0 and says I'm up to date , this phone os needs addressing very slow and laggy shame it's nice size and design just let down by CPU and os I'm finding so far I was worried buying a phone with 2gb and quad core don't think ram the issue as even after installing 70 apps I'm seeing just under 1Gb free think HMD should of went with slightly better CPU I would happily pay extra £30 for a SD CPU .. let's hope android O helps

Lg G4 Batterly life on Marshallow 6.0 [H810 AT&T] HELP PLEASE

Hi I have purchased an Lg G4 in the last 5 months. The day I got it from AT&T I updated to android 6.0 [Marshmallow]. My battery life has gone to crap ever since, I have Factory reset my phone 3 times and 2 out of the 3 times I have reinstalled my apps very slowly and carefully.
Here is my phone info:
Model Number-LG-H810
Android security patch level-2016-01-01
Build number-MRA58K
Kernel Version-3.10.84
Software version-H81020n
Or is there a way I can downgrade from 6.0 to 5.1.1?

This thread is about six weeks old already, but I thought I'd respond, since I'm in the same spot, looking to rollback from h81020n to 5.x. There is a thread in this forum with instructions about how to do it.

retin
Build Number: NPL25.86-15
My experience till now:
Phone seems to be a lot smoother and heat build up seems to be less while gaming (I play Mortal Kombat X very often).
Cannot comment on battery as of now as its not even 24hrs since the update has been installed.
If anyone has any question, then do let me know.
Great. Even Moto Z play nougat update is coming in few days
Seems like getting better battery backup as comapred to Marshmallow.
I am at 37% remaning battery after 24hrs with 1hr 11mins SOT.
Finally someone from india with a moto z :victory:

Did you get the Nougat update till now?
What mods are you using with the phone?
I updated manually with the ota zip few weeks back.. I didn't buy any mods yet..
Since I read that the new OTA update (which comes with Nougat upgradation too) also updates the bootloader - in the US Verizon (locked) versions of the phone. As a consequence of which the users are unable to unlock the new bootloader at USA.
My question is - since we already have an unlockable bootloader, will the new Nougat update make the bootloader UN-"unlockable"?
This is very important for me since I am looking forward for a stable official ROM (CM 14.1 based) with root support.
Thanks in advance.
PS: I know that Android 6.0.1 with July 1 patch is the most stable android OS till date. Can anyone compare the latest OTA with this?
I received a second update for nougat, 540 mb, slowed down the phone

Would it be NPL25.86-17-3 by chance? If so, it fixes the quiet notification issue.
What security patch are you on now?

No, it's not under clocked. All 4 cores are working as it should (atleast for now), after nougat update, core 3 and 4 had wake issues. (will remain inactive untill next reboot) hope this update fixes it.. I will report after a day or two..
Update - 3 and 4th core issue so persists. Hope moto will find a solution soon

OS update 8.0

Hi,
I bought this htc u11 last month when i was in India. It's an unlocked version. However, i see that htc has already rolled out the os update and November patch through ota. Now, I'm in Ireland. I'm checking for system updates but unable to get one and the news state that os has started to roll out for sprint htc u11. Does country change affect the updates? I was using vodafone in india and now I'm using lyca. Also, i initially bought google pixel 2 xl but there were loads of glitches. I did love the device but due to hardware issues, more time requirement to sort and since i did not have much time had to have it returned. However, it was returned and bought u11. I'm putting this up since i have read that google release out android updates. So would be some kind of avengers or something? I'm eagerly waiting for the update since i have seen it unlocks lots more functions on the device.
Awaiting your response. And apologies for such a ling convo.
Updates are for the phone not the carrier. You should be able to get the update via WiFi if its available.
If the phone has been rooted then you'll have to reset it back to stock before the update will show.
I just updated to Android 8 ( stock rom) and it became sluggish... It was way more fluid with Android 7... Don't update yet!!!
BTW any suggestions??
I don't think I can downgrade back to Android 7 being no root ???

Exclusive: Samsung stops Galaxy S8 Android 8.0 release, new version being developed

Samsung started rolling out the much-awaited Android 8.0 Oreo update for the Galaxy S8 and the Galaxy S8+ last week. As promised, the update was first released to members of the beta program before it was rolled out to non-beta devices earlier this week. The update had only been sent out in a handful of markets but in a rather unexpected turn of events, Samsung has stopped the Galaxy S8 Android 8.0 Oreo update release..

yep, that was rather weird, almost felt like the finger to the community or users,
not sure what is all behind this rather unconventional name though
Well, it looks like anyone on Carrier Branded firmware (me) is in for a long wait, if a problem has been found in the firmware, it will set everyone back.

What abot people who have already updated to oreo? (Like me)
I've used the method with odin (from aql5 to crap and flashed update.zip on sd). Mine it's fine, i've only some lags in volume panel

According to the post, it shouldn't be a problem for anyone who has already updated. It would be ideal if they let people know why though.
Well, ive already flashed trough Odin the Spain PHE version into my Portuguese phone using the tutorial to make the necessaries workarounds.
So far im very happy.
The phone is very stable and much more fluid and quick than Nougat
Nothing to complaint so far!!!
Now I know the reason why it is lablled as CRAP.
They probably want to prevent rolling back to nougat bootloader for those that use that loophole to root and not have to wait 7 days for oem lock to appear.

Hi everyone
Today I flashed the firmware crap but now I can not install the recovery how to downgrade
it's a shame to samsung, we consumers pay a fortune for a mobile phone, and we have to wait 2 years for an OS update
i missing my nexus´s my father phone (nexus 5x ) have oreo 8.1 ...unbelievable lolllllol

The last 5 characters of the firmware version are: numeric for BL version, alphanumeric for the phone’s Samsung Experience/major update (C means third major update to the initial release of the phone), alphanumeric for the year (Q is 2017, R is 2018), alphanumeric for month (technically alphabetic, A to K), and alphanumeric for non-test-build of the given month.
So 1CRAP is: bootloader v1, third major release, 2018, january, P release.

Apparently the only reason they stoped the rollout of oreo was that it was causing some devices to reboot. That's what I've been reading has anyone had that problem?

Full working OREO here, didn't notice any of the problems posted here until now.
There probably more to it than what's been told

I think too. The hole firmware is really laggy...man samsung never will have good softwaredevelopers...its not that bad at all...but many others do better jobs ins engineering....

I don't understand why some people say Oreo is better. CRAP its better. Oreo is laggy as ****. I will have to go back to N if they do not fix it fast.

It's been more than a week and I have zero issues here. Funny to see so much whining.
