Hi, I'm not new in flashing and rooting but this time, after root, trying to flash xposed I obtain, or a bootloop if flashed from recovery or and error if installed by application.
I'm working on OPO with the last stock ROM and with:
Twrp 3.1.0-0.bacon
Xposed-v87-sdk23-arm.zip
Before of this flashing I had xposed installed yet but I removed it to bypass some detection from some app.
Now it is impossible to restore it.
Error in the xposed app is: MV: can't rename '/system/bin/ app_process32': device or resource busy Error 1 occurred
What to do?

You need to uninstall xposed app, then flash xposed.zip then install xposed app.
Use systemless xposed for roms which do not support xposed/bootloops.
Thanks
Thanks very much, I solved using systemless exposed!!!

Official Xposed Working perfectly,
Root your MI A1 by following this instructions

Please carefully watch these steps to root..your phone...
Then we are gone for xposed..
Download the xposed installer.zip
http://dl-xda.xposed.info/framework/sdk25/arm64/
Flash the zip file using Flashfire app...then install,
XposedInstaller_3.1.2.apk
https://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=3034811
Not working.
It's working perfectly...
Screenshot prof...
is this module works for you?
they say it works for Nougat too
https://forum.xda-developers.com/xposed/modules/mod-fingerprint-enabler-t3411066
when screen is locked by third party app (some launcher, 3rd party tile, etc) fingerprint on Mi A1 cannot unlock the phone.
that module enables that.
Tried as you wrote: flashed the xposed zip file using flashfire -> reboot -> xposed framework wasn't installed.
Then I tried to install xposed framework using the xposed app -> worked
=> Just install xposed installer apk and install xposed framework using the app.
Edit: I forgot that there was this thread: https://forum.xda-developers.com/mi-a1/how-to/install-xposed-flashfire-recovery-t3685713
https://forum.xda-developers.com/mi-...pdate-t3681024
link not working
its worked used xposed installer v3.1.2
gavitybox work fine too....
Yup gravity box works very well. Pleased with the way development is happening & being an AOSP we will get our fair share.
thanks for sharing~

This is the answer to all having magisk and trying to get Xposed
I just did the following procedure:
flashed official rom with miflash,
booted to rom,
intalled second october OTA update (75mb),
booted twrp with "fastboot boot recovery.img",
and then:
installed magisk 14.4
installed magisk manager,
installed systemless xposed module from within magisk manager,
and finally installed material design xposed installer
(with reboot between each step)
and finally i have magisk root and working xposed.
If i select magisk core only mode (witch disables magisk modules) it passes safetynet and theoretically i can install OTA updates (i think xposed -systemless or not- does not pass safetynet)

Hey guys,
I've been searching on the web regarding Xposed Framework. I've installed Magisk, and tried to download Xposed Framework for SDK 25, however whenever I reboot, its stick at the Google logo. I also tried the Xposed Installer which said arm64-v8a is not support at the moment, so I was wondering if anyone installed Xposed on their pixel? Any alternative ways?
Cheers

wipe your phone and revert to stock and try again through magisk. it will eventually work and id the only xposed working on this phone right now. use the xposed installer in the description of the magisk module.

So I downgraded to Android 7.1.0 (NDE63H) from the official Google Website and installed Magisk v14.5 (beta) by flashing through TWRP Recovery. However, when I download the Xposed Module from Magisk, it was able to install. However, when I press the reboot button on Magisk, it turns into some sort of BootLoop where it stuck at the Google Logo. Any idea?
Cheers

Oh yeah i forgot to mention, after u downgrade to nougat you need to be on Magisk 14.2 and refuse to update it for xposed to work. ive not yet figured out why this is but i noticed that after updating to 14.3+ and trying to flash it would always do the google loop and i had to full wipe n just keep redoing the process until it works. being updated will cause the fail to boot and updating after its installed will break all installed magisk modules
hello!
I have an s6 edge (G925F), running on latest global elite ROM 4.1 (nougat 7.0), and I have latest Magisk (16.0).
I want to install Xposed framework, but I'm confused which way is the safest and less bootloop-y to install it.
should I install it systemlessly through Magisk manager [Xposed Framework (SDK 24)]? or should i flash it with twrp from this thread?
i really don't want to brick it or lose anything xD

Both methods work.
I installed using the latest xposed installer apk & then it installed the latest xposed firmware & after a reboot which was quite long (more than 2 minutes), xposed was activated!

Install the latest xposed installer apk (non-magisk) from the official thread. Open the app & install the xposed framework & reboot. Reboot will take some time.
Then u can download some modules like GravityBox & activate & reboot to use it
If something goes wrong, idk. I think u have to try to get to twrp & dirty flash the rom you're using again.

It won't bootloop, after you flash xposed zip in twrp, wipe cache and dalvik cache, then reboot, it will work properly.
i think its working now as its shown in the screenshot..
it took like 6-7min to boot after flashing it.. is this normal?
will rebooting take longer now after installing xposed? or its just the first boot?
one more thing, what are the best modules for nougat?
and thanks all of you for help!
Installing v0.4.5.5 or v0.4.6.0 both gets me into bootloop, tried the modifed Magisk from the EdXposed peope as the newest offical version.

I install Magisk in TWRP and reboot,
install Riru Core and reboot,
then install EdExposed.
I did try so many different versions of Magisk and Xposed....
Sometimes i got it to work but but on some reboot for other Magisk modules it started bootloop
OR it starts I type PIN und SIMPIN then reboot and bootloop.
What OOS 10 Version, Magisk do you use?
Some install routine you follow?
I'm using magisk v20. I only use gravitybox in edxposed.
Are you getting the bootloop before you even install any modules in edxposed?

Well I used it with the official Magisk until a few days ago where it bootlooped after a reboot when I installed a Xposed modul since then I wasnt able to get it to work again.
Yes I did remove all Xposed and Magisk Modules to try to get only the framework to work.
So it's a module causing the problem and not edxposed itself.

No because I cant even intall only the frame work without bootlooping.
The problem itself started with a new module but now with a "clean" OOS 10.0.1 GM1913 BA I cant get Magisk EdXposed Modul to work.

Typical Android, I did a flash of OOS Full System ZIP file in TWRP and then RIRU Core in Magisk, reboot and EdXposed and suddenly it works with Magisk 20.2....
But now MinMinGuard says Xposed is not enabled while the Manager says it is
Edit: MinMinGuard only excepts v0.4.5.5 ...
Edit 2: Seems the Xposed Module SudoHide is the problem because after I install this i have the bootloop

No look disabling resource hooking. I'm not too familiar with Tai Chi. A quick search suggest its another framework.

It's odd. When I flash 0.4.5.5, the device boots without issue but is unstable ( apps won't open or lags if they do, websites won't load, etc). No such issues with 0.4.6.0 except gravitybox itself.
My complete setup is stock rooted international T-Mobile OnePlus, elemental kernel, several magisk modules and of course, edxposed.

v0.4.6.0 dont work for some apps at Android 10 for example MinMinGuard
Do you use Sandhook or YAHFA?
I had also a lot of trouble and flashing full OTA did help.
