I had LG G5 H820 AT&T handset.
Last week I decided to Update my device to Nougat Update manually using LGUP software to H820PR20a_00_1123.kdz file. But the phone never restarted after the update was completed successfully. Now it is only showing qualcomm hs-usb qdloader 9008 port in Device manager.
It was the worst decision, now is there any way i can repair this issue. I have tried Qualcomm tools with LG G5 H850 ROM kdz file, also tried LG G5 LS992 tot files. But nothing is working out.
Help will be appreciated.

Sorry to hear this but you aren't the first one nor will you be the last.
I suggest you read before trying anything next time.

As that guide says, it will not work on the LG G series. If you flashed a ROM from another device then your G5 is bricked permanently. Just like the previous links in this thread state, your only solution is to claim the insurance, I wouldn't claim warranty as they may charge you if they realize it's been unlocked.
So are you telling me that i can't do nothing?

I would try for a warranty repair and hope they don't notice you messed with it http://www.lg.com/us/support-mobile/lg-LGH830SV if not you will have to do the insurance or buy a new phone
Just sent mine in. Hope and prey they just reflash it and send it back.

Will do. They should receive it Monday. So don't know how long before I get a answer back.
LG service has the tools to do this. They just reflash the proper firmware and the phone is back in business.
LG phones are particularly unforgiving with this error. If you trip the anti-rollback flag by flashing an older stock firmware, it will do the same thing. Pretty ridiculous.
So just got the email phone is on its way back....They fixed it...The lady from lg said they replaced the motherboard. I think they just flashed it So i should get it back next week. I will keep you guys updated on if there is any issues once i see it.

Guys I'm having some issues with my lg g2 again. I'm from Pakistan and recently my phone was working fine until it started to restart on lg logo. I decided to flash it to stock, and somehow i managed to do it by doing stuff and deleting and reinstalling lgup but now my laptop doens't recognize my device in "LGE MTP ANDROID DEVICE" and the driver fails to install. My phone is bricked because of using bootstack with cloudyg2 rom, don't make the mistakes like i did. LGUP doesn't recognize my phone now and i tried alot. LG flash tool doesnt work and tot method cant work because my lg is korean. Any help?

Long story short, a kdz flash may have been interrupted. Now I am unable to boot my stylo at all. I can however see it under device manager, where it is labeled "Qualcomm HS-USB QDLoader 9008". Is there anything I can do to fix this?
I bricked mine and used LG Bridge to get to Lollipop and then I took the OTA to Marshmallow
Also, LG UP method can be used as well.

I kinda am stuck in this position too. Does LG bridge pick it up in this mode? Did you have that problem? I've been trying and it seems the only thing I can find is QPST using QFIL but then I can't seem to transfer the data and get an error about Sahara not being able to transfer the data over.

I have the MetroPCS version and totally screwed up messing around with something. I had no recovery. I had to use one of the methods to get it back up and running.
If you have the Tmobile or Metro version, you should be fine.
Did you have the same QDLoader 9008 issue?
LG Bridge doesn't appear to be working for me as it's not even detected.
Try LG Flash tool. That can get you back to Lollipop.
http://androidcreations.weebly.com/lg-g-stylo-update.html
Or LG UP method should work.

Use a different USB cable. That's what happened to me. I had to try every single USB cable in my house, even from other phones.
AFAIK, in order to fix a hard bricked (Qualcomm HS-USB QDLoader 9008) lg stylo we need make something like this (http://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-...nbrick-g-stylo-ls770-qualcomm-hs-usb-t3368269) but for the H631/MS631 variant.
Can some of you look at THIS method used on LG V10 TMO variant for unbricking Qualcomm 9008?
I posted a thread HERE with the instructions from the user that created the backup and method to unbrick.
Hi, have the same qualcomm 9008 issue aftet kdz, so is there any solution?
So the brick is so bricked you can't even get to download mode.
Lg h631 hardbricked
Please any solution yet on this thread? I have had the same issue for a year now.
LGMS631 (MetroPCS LG G Stylo) Root/Unbrick/Recovery
So, I think I've managed to salvage my bricked Stylo, I somehow also managed to root my Fiance's LG G Stylo that's on the 6.0 update...
Since I can't find any ways to fix this problem on the internet I'll post what I did here so hopefully I can get some other people out of deep water with their phone.
Here is the thread I made I don't think it will work for a hardbrick, but it might be worth a shot..
LGMS631 MetroPCS LG G Stylo Backup (Unbrick/Root) Android 6.0
That won't work because your phone still works. You can boot past the 9008 mode.
So basically the phone is useless and can't be brought back to life at this point
I'm in the same position, flashed a lollipop kdz on a marshmallow and it effectively trashed the emmc. Without an insider leaking signed programmer and flasher mbns, flashing via sahara is not possible. For the moment, you need one of those expensive 20pin JTAG boxes and documentation for the ISP points(I can't find this info, it's paywalled). Under the shield facing the back of the phone is a header that may be for JTAG, but I haven't bothered probing as I don't think it's practical for unbricking.
Hi,
To make my story short,
1. Drivers were all ok.
2. Lg Bridge installed
3. Lgup Installed.
4. lg software update tool installed.
Now the story when i bought my phone it was h900 maybe and the firmware was lollipop 5.1.1 [email protected] Download mode looks korean when i manually make it to download mode. i tried to install marshmallow i downloaded the kdz firmware of h900 marshmallow but failed the lgup says unknown model tried many different techniques but failed.
lg bridge detects my phone as h900 it downloaded the firmware but when lg bridge reboot my phone to download mode it says please connect your handset (As if it is not detecting myphone). then i tried other techniques by editing build.prop but it failed it didn't detect my phone i was worried.
when i used adb and use the command adb devices it detect my phone as lgf600sxxxxxx.
i downloaded three kdz firmware (All Marshmallow) f600s marshmallow, h960 marshmallow and and h900 marshmallow.
i tried to install via lgup it says unknown model.....Failed
I just bring my phone to the local store he had Octoplus Box i gave the kdz he converted and flash first the h900. model firmware and yes the phone booted and now download mode becomes english every thing looks good and working fine except the signal when go to about option and network status it said "Radio off" bring back my phone home checked it tried different techniques failed.
i connected to lgup and now it detects my phone as lg h900 it tried to flash other kdz but "invalid kdz". Here
i download kdz tools convert kdz to dz all firmwares. tried to flash h960 and it worked phone booted but no signals at all "Radio off". Now phone detects as LG h960 in lgup and the at last i flash the f600 dz file via lgup and then phone booted everything changed to korean download mode becomes korean again and lgup detects my phone as lg f600 signals become ok also.
so i thing my first firmware was modified cooked firmware its system image was modified. Now i am using f600s firmware.

download f600s firmware kdz file convert it to dz then flash if every thing worked you will see it in lgup your original model f600s
does V10 F600x has bootloop issue?
I Got a H830 I needed it unlocked and I managed to root and unnlock it and get it all updated.
It worked so well I got another one, I did th same mehtod as the above not checking the differences in firmware and during the flshing it failed at 10%.
It was stuck so I had to interrupt it, When I boot it boots the the LG logo then goes into firmware update and is stuck.
I can't boot to anything else, I can get it detected in LGUP but not in LG bridge but do see it listed under ports and when i Plug in the USB cable I hear a connection (windows 10) I downloaded uppercut but my Antivirus is flagging it like crazy making it hard to work with. Realized I flashed a V6 firmware on a V7, not sure much more on the build or details of the FW though.
Is this something that is recoverable?
Thanks for any tips.
