S8 + loudspeaker in call issue. - Samsung Galaxy S8+ Questions & Answers

Right! Samsung S8+ owners,
Has anyone experienced this issue, so I receive a phone call and place the call on loudspeaker but the phone decides after awhile it wants now not to be on speaker and goes back to earpiece. This is with the screen locked I will be talking and the next minute I can’t here the person as it’s reverted back to earpiece, it is very strange. I visited Samsung last week with an issue and they flashed my phone apparently.... I think all they did was click factory reset. I was told to come back if still facing the issue and since they got there hands on it the device now does this.

speaker not working properly anymore

The speaker on my fuze doesn't really work unless I sometimes tap it lightly, and even then it crackles. it started happening suddenly a few days ago. its really annoying because I can't hear incoming calls anymore, and the speakerphone feature doesn't work either. I'm using NATF's 3.4 ROM, and have been since it came out, but this only started suddenly. I've noticed a small "popping" noise ever time I get an incoming text/call/ or some type of incoming signal.
I think its obvious that this is a hardware problem. If I remember correctly, I think HTC devices come with a 1 year manufactuer's warrenty. Maybe I can make use of it?
Would I also have to unflash the phone and bring it to factory settings?
bump? can someone please give me some advice?
same problem...
speaker
Same problem, speaker stops working then works.
same problem, Mine finally went out all together, and I can only hear it when my ear is RIGHT NEXT TO THE SPEAKER....its very low...I need to go ahead and try to get a warranty replacement.
I suggest contacting ATT ASAP. even if you didn't purchase a replacement plan, HTC provides a warrenty for a certain amount of days. As long as your phone isn't otherwise damaged you can send it back
I did it, and got a newphone in about 4 days (though you can get expedited shipping for $12)

[Q] Skyrocket mic cutting out intermittently

Hi all,
Just wanted to put this out there to see if anyone else had experienced this. Using SGS2 skyrocket - stock 2.3.5 UCKK1 (rooted) and then updated UCLA3 everything (rooted) - When on a phone call after sometimes 1 minute and then other times 5 minutes my microphone stops working and the other person cannot hear me. I can hear them fine, but they cannot hear me.
Wired headphones work without an issue, but the internal mic seems to have an issue with my phone. a work around I read for the non LTE SGS2 works where you hit the speakerphone button and then they can hear you again and if you turn it off it buys you another 5 minutes or so on mic.
So frustrated with this that I am doing an exchange today on the phone.
Just wanted to see if anyone else had experienced and if there was a know n problem with the phone? Google and XDA returned very little.
Thanks!

Hey I too also have this issue, I had a temporary fix which lasts longer than turning on the speaker but it's still temporary, I have the skyrocket on Rogers and I called them in about it, apparently it has something to do with the network, they did some reset and told me to restart my phone and it worked for about a week or so, hope this helps, if anyone has a fix to this please reply
I read another case like this awhile back, try searching it up. i believe it was rma'd though
I have a very similar problem, I go "in and out" a lot. The problem is the noise canceling mic on the top of the phone by the headset input, I left myself voice mail on my home phone and while talking moved my finger gently over the tiny microphone hole and that causes me to go in and out.
For most turning of Noise Suppression in settings will work, for me it does nothing as if it is perma on lol except on ICS where it actually turns off (dont ask me I have no idea why)

Anyone else? Earpiece speaker buzzing

My wife's Galaxy S6 has developed a problem where the earpiece speaker on the phone is pretty much unusable. She said it started sometime after the last system update. Software issue or do I need to check into a repair/replace. Phone's only a few months old. Got it just after Mother's Day.
Might have something to do with advanced calling. Make an hour long call to verizon for testing. Or just try turning it off all together and try.
Did a full factory reset...no joy. Sent in under manufacturer's warranty. Mods Can delete thread.

S7 Earpiece not working

The earpiece stopped working the other day out of nowhere... I have not dropped the phone, or gotten it wet at all (not that it should matter!) but it no longer plays sound out of the earpiece... Anyone else experiencing this issue? It makes it extremely difficult to be on the phone since I usually talk with the phone to my ear. I have made sure that the call volume was all the way up, so it doesn't seem like a volume issue either.
Any troubleshooting advice, other than making calls and seeing if it starts working?
Same problem with earpiece not working
Did you find a solution to this problem. I've just purchased the S7 and have discovered earpiece not working. Speaker works but not the earpiece nor headphone jack. Probably going to return under warranty but would be helpful if a known solution!
Hi,
did you find out what to do or is it just to send it to a technician?
mine is three days old and doesn't work from day one ...
Sorry for delay. No I didnt find a solution. I took it back to Samsung and they exchanged the handset under warranty. Goodluck.

Static noise during call.

Anyone else has problem and bothered by this issue?
I used Samsungs and iPhones and never heard any hissing/static noise during call.
It happens soon as I push call button and during phone call until I push call end button.
It was so loud, and Oneplus suggested soft reset(which didn't change), and hard reset. After hard reset, the noise got little decreased but still there. It's kind of like old static tv noise but quite, or if I am standing next to power tower feeling in my ear.
I ordered another one to compare, new one has little less, but apparently, still happening in background during call.
I really like the phone and planning on keeping 2nd one(returning 1st one).
I am wondering if others hear it on their phone and hoping for Oneplus to take care of it because I think it could be software issue since it happens only during call.
BTW, my Oneplus 7 Pro is bought from Oneplus(dual SIM card one, not t-mobile variant) website and in USA using T-mobile as service provider.
Had this issue on my Pixel 3 XL, not my 7 Pro.
