When you don't want to use any custom ROMs you often miss your Stock Android.
Here is the guide that will direct you How to go back to Stock Android in Sony Xperia E Single.
I've made My Stock Android Firmware file .FTF
First of all get it from the link shown below:
Mediafire Link : http://www.mediafire.com/download/c4an99t62k6krmj/Sony+Xperia+E_11.3.A.2.23_Generic.ftf
I have made Sony Xperia E Single C1504 Stock Firmware based on version 11.A.2.23
Which will not give any error while flashing.
It will give a smooth flashing.
Now, download Flashtool for Sony by @Androxyde in case you don't have !
Link : http://www.flashtool.net
Install Fastboot Drivers and Flashmode drivers.
Steps :
1. Put downloaded .FTF file into this directory
C:\Flashtool\firmwares
2. Now open Flashtool and Put your phone into Flashmode.
3. Click on the lightening icon in the upper left side first.
4. Select Flashmode and select firmware you want to flash incase you haven't put .FTF file in the Flashtool firmwares directory you can still browse it and select it from the dirctory which contains that file.
5. Check
- Cache
- Data
- No final verification
6. Now click Flash.
7. Get yourself some coffee or beer and wait.
8. Voila ! Now you have your Sony Xperia E Single back into it's Original Stock Android.
Cheers... !
Hello,
Looks great! But what apps are pre-installed? Because I'm rooted, and I have deleted almost every system app, so yeah... Still good out there for the people who don't want/can root their phone. Thank you in advance.
Have a nice day

This firmware contains the all preinstalled apps which comes in the Original Stock JellyBean out of the box. And I have tweaked this firmware that way that Flashtool will probably not show any error while flashing. And the whole process will go smoothly. So basically this is the same firmware with the latest version. Cheers.

I also tried it with PC but in PC also I am getting an error
What should I do now I want to update it!!!!
Please reply fast
Appeared an update from sony for android 4.2.2, so I tried to update, but an error occurred. So I downloaded the .ftf and tried flashing through flashtools but another error occurred and the cell died. I changed the kernel, flashed the official rom via cwm, then returned the phone. However, it does not recognize the sim card, does not activate the wifi or bluetooth, and every time it is restarted, it seems that he restored himself, does not save the settings. I do not know what else to do, I've tried everything I've read many threads, I searched the forum and the web but could not find a solution. Can someone help me?
Thanks a lot!

What errors you get, phone is locked /unlocked, what firmware you try to flash with flashtool, what firmware you restore from cwm, what firmware you're use before that ,what kernel you use to flash, what is you phone (c2104/05)...?
Baseband from 4.1.2 not working with 4.2.2 firmware. This may be the problem with sim card.
All custom kernels with cwm needs to flash modules to get WiFi work, this may be the problem with the WiFi.
And for Bluetooth, it's maybe be from the bad flashes you've made.
P.s.- Are you sure that you got all needed drivers to flash with flashtool?

My cell is a C2104 with unlocked bootloader, when I try to flash any rom through flashtools, it stops while "flashing data", look the log:

And it stops here, don't do anything... I tried to leave it working for an hour, and nothin different happens...
I tried to flash the following roms with the flashtool:
- iOS 7 Style ROM for XL 4.2.2
- OI Gaming OS v.1.8.305
- C2104_15.3.A.0.26_WORLD-A
And the following kernels:
- Kernel_Vengeance_TaoShan
- ThunderZap-3.1-Ultra
- Extended_Stock_Kernel_v5
- Phantom v4.5
Now, I'm with the C2104_15.3.A.0.26_WORLD-A, that I flashed through CWM, but without simcard, bluetooth, wifi and FM.
Before the update, it was with the rom named v3_C_n_T_JB_4.1.2_15.0.A.2.17, but I can't find it again to put on device (I have the zip file, but don't have the fix for wifi and simcard).
I have the drivers for flashmode and fastboot mode, but... how can I see if is it correct?
Thanks again!

I guess now you're using 4.2.2 fw..using custom kernel..try ......
enter cwm
wipe data/factory reset
wipe cache partition
wipe dalvikcache
in mount and storage
format/system
than turn off
make sure you have ftf file to flash after that..

How about you reinstall flashtool?
And if you haven't isntalled ADB drivers make sure you install them. (if you have then, reinstall them)
Then redownload another FTF.
Now try flashing it via flashtool, check here for the tutorial
Hope it works out mate.

If flashtool hangs idk what other tools might help :/ sorry
so it seems you've got an error while updating?
By the way what type are you using like Xperia L C2014, or C2015? You may have installed the wrong ftf to create this problem, like flashing a C2015 ftf for C2104 :l

Install sony's official flashtool(it's called Emma). here's the link: http://developer.sonymobile.com/services/flash-tool/how-to-download-and-install-the-flash-tool/
When installed emma try again with the 'unofficial' flashtool(the one that hangs), it could still be a driver problem and the emma installation will reïnstall the correct drivers. If it still hangs try to flash with the emma program, sony has a tutorial(on the page i just provided you). Good luck!

no, it gave me no messages at all, just didn't work.
I think the problem was with the 09184 version, hours after I downloaded and installed it (which didn't work) they updated it to 09185 which worked with me after installation.
So, it's working now.

Don't forget that the Sony flashtool only works for unlocked bootloader.
If you just want to update using ftf, sony's flashtool won't work. It's just a different tool. If you want to update using ftf use the flashtool from http://flashtool.net like @gregbradley said.

I am having a problem flashing KitKat v. F.1.74_CE
I had to downgrade to be able to root and the thread said that as long as my Z3 is the dual version, I would have to downgrade to F.1.74 to be able to root, so I downloaded it and used flashtool version 0 9 18 5 to flash. but while in the middle of the process (after deleting my phone data), the flashtool says "processing of system.sin finished with errors".
this is the error message

Hello Guys,
actually i am a total noob at this because i had not much time to get in the topic.
So i want to Update my Device because its showing me the Update aviable massage.
I have:
ROM: [email protected]
Recovery: TWRP Installed
Kernel: Androplusv40
Bootloader: Unlocked
Can anybody give me advise how i can update to the newest stock rom?
I guess their is no .zip to flash in recovery? I want to keep my recovery and root if that is possible.
Thanky you!
Greetings Abgeloust.
You cant keep recovery or root through an upgrade but it shouldent be too hard to re-root
You can use flashtool to flash a newer FTF without data loss and then you can also use flashtool to flash a elf or img kernel (usually has recovery included with xperias)
If ye need some more explaining then let me know

other option is to use flashfire ( from google play )
u can update ur device wothout reseting

you can open something called xperifirm via flashtool (if you have a newer version) it should be a little XF icon somewhere along the tool bar
once that is open you can pick your device from the list on the left and then click check all at the top right, to download your FTF you click a version from a country/region and then click on the right where it says avaliable firmware ON a avaliable firmware, from there you can download and will be automatically added to Flashtool when finished.

That's EMMA Sony's own software tool for unlocked bootloaders not flashtool that's referred to in here. Your friend has flashed single sim firmware onto a dual sim device hence the message on the screen.
Use flashtool to flash the correct dual sim firmware wipe user data ect when flashing and it'll be good as new.
