[Xperia E][Indian] Get Sony Xperia E Single Back into Stock Firmware Easily - Sony Xperia Miro, Tipo (Dual), J, E

When you don't want to use any custom ROMs you often miss your Stock Android.
Here is the guide that will direct you How to go back to Stock Android in Sony Xperia E Single.
I've made My Stock Android Firmware file .FTF
First of all get it from the link shown below:
Mediafire Link : http://www.mediafire.com/download/c4an99t62k6krmj/Sony+Xperia+E_11.3.A.2.23_Generic.ftf
I have made Sony Xperia E Single C1504 Stock Firmware based on version 11.A.2.23
Which will not give any error while flashing.
It will give a smooth flashing.
Now, download Flashtool for Sony by @Androxyde in case you don't have !
Link : http://www.flashtool.net
Install Fastboot Drivers and Flashmode drivers.
Steps :
1. Put downloaded .FTF file into this directory
C:\Flashtool\firmwares
2. Now open Flashtool and Put your phone into Flashmode.
3. Click on the lightening icon in the upper left side first.
4. Select Flashmode and select firmware you want to flash incase you haven't put .FTF file in the Flashtool firmwares directory you can still browse it and select it from the dirctory which contains that file.
5. Check
- Cache
- Data
- No final verification
6. Now click Flash.
7. Get yourself some coffee or beer and wait.
8. Voila ! Now you have your Sony Xperia E Single back into it's Original Stock Android.
Cheers... !

Hello,
Looks great! But what apps are pre-installed? Because I'm rooted, and I have deleted almost every system app, so yeah... Still good out there for the people who don't want/can root their phone. Thank you in advance.
Have a nice day

This firmware contains the all preinstalled apps which comes in the Original Stock JellyBean out of the box. And I have tweaked this firmware that way that Flashtool will probably not show any error while flashing. And the whole process will go smoothly. So basically this is the same firmware with the latest version. Cheers.

It's not the subject of the thread, but it's a good idea It's better to have a way to come back to a stock ROM BEFORE trying to make your own .FTF file. Without having a way to come back, it's a bit harder if you're stuck after trying to make your own FTF..

Yes I agree. Im just saying to put pc companion / update service as first step before root and mod and come back to stock.

No this version works very well ! Did you follow the tutoriel for the installation of flashtool ?
There is a official flash tool from Sony and i try it but i didn't like it! The installation is very sad and I don't find how to repair my phone with. The version from the link is very simple and easy to install. ^^

Brick
i had cm10 fxp222 running on my tipo with this mod :
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2014242
i tried to change external SD from 4 to 16 GB, but after replacing and formating the new one, my tipo seems to be dead.
pushing powerbutton: no vibration, no screen, no led , no fasboot- or flash- mode.
flashtool, SUS, and pc-companion also didnt work ... battery was about 70 percent when it stopped working.
anyone got an idea ? possibly it has anything to do with the SD-Swap ?

Ok I did, but it is actually working for you?
On my device is always stuck at 'Extracting' ( keeps on extracting forever) .
If I back out of it and then press 'flash' , it does ask for super user permissions and completes the "flash" ' but the effects of it cannot be seen!
The zip I tried was that of Pure Performances Golden Edition.
Other E users please look into it!

Flash Gordon works on the Xperia E for me, some .zip files take forever to flash (do not work) while others do. Trial and Error!
Make sure you have busybox installed and try it!

search how to flash ftf file and flash it using falshtool:good:

(for me) Flashtool is the best way to unlock/relock bootloader. its hassle free you dont need cmd promt.
heres the download link http://www.flashtool.net/download.php
if you still got bootloop, flash your device to to your stock FW/FTF
if you dont have your device back up
just search your stock FW in C2104 section here : http://forum.xda-developers.com/xperia-l/general/sony-xperia-l-flashable-ftfs-locked-t2560642
you should know your device model and build number..
NOTE: you need to root your device first in order to use Flashtool..
after flashing stock FTF reboot and wait.. it just takes time...
just hit thanks! hope it helps.. :good:

Flashing a stock ftf NEVER needs rooted device.
And you can still flash if it's in bootloop. Search in the general info thread and you'll find complete tutorials.
You can download your required stock ftf from here
http://forum.xda-developers.com/xperia-l/general/sony-xperia-l-flashable-ftfs-locked-t2560642

no, it gave me no messages at all, just didn't work.
I think the problem was with the 09184 version, hours after I downloaded and installed it (which didn't work) they updated it to 09185 which worked with me after installation.
So, it's working now.

Don't forget that the Sony flashtool only works for unlocked bootloader.
If you just want to update using ftf, sony's flashtool won't work. It's just a different tool. If you want to update using ftf use the flashtool from http://flashtool.net like @gregbradley said.

I am having a problem flashing KitKat v. F.1.74_CE
I had to downgrade to be able to root and the thread said that as long as my Z3 is the dual version, I would have to downgrade to F.1.74 to be able to root, so I downloaded it and used flashtool version 0 9 18 5 to flash. but while in the middle of the process (after deleting my phone data), the flashtool says "processing of system.sin finished with errors".
this is the error message
27/020/2015 13:20:04 - INFO - Flashing data
27/020/2015 13:20:26 - ERROR - Processing of system.sin finished with errors.

Update 32.2.A.0.305 to 32.2.A.5.11

Hello Guys,
actually i am a total noob at this because i had not much time to get in the topic.
So i want to Update my Device because its showing me the Update aviable massage.
I have:
ROM: [email protected]
Recovery: TWRP Installed
Kernel: Androplusv40
Bootloader: Unlocked
Can anybody give me advise how i can update to the newest stock rom?
I guess their is no .zip to flash in recovery? I want to keep my recovery and root if that is possible.
Thanky you!
Greetings Abgeloust.
You cant keep recovery or root through an upgrade but it shouldent be too hard to re-root
You can use flashtool to flash a newer FTF without data loss and then you can also use flashtool to flash a elf or img kernel (usually has recovery included with xperias)
If ye need some more explaining then let me know

other option is to use flashfire ( from google play )
u can update ur device wothout reseting

you can open something called xperifirm via flashtool (if you have a newer version) it should be a little XF icon somewhere along the tool bar
once that is open you can pick your device from the list on the left and then click check all at the top right, to download your FTF you click a version from a country/region and then click on the right where it says avaliable firmware ON a avaliable firmware, from there you can download and will be automatically added to Flashtool when finished.
