Have you not been prompted to install the stable 8.0 release? You should be able to go from O beta 4 direct to Oreo via an OTA.

Has anyone tried this ROM yet?
How are things like battery life and stability, especially with SuperSU/Magisk and Xposed?

tried it , works fine, battery backup is ok, su works, xposed : i didnt get it to work with this build ,in general miui 9 builds are not yet compatible for the miui 9 builds i used . not all miui 9 features yet but stable and nice to use. give it a try
Battery backup is not "ok". It's the same, very bad. It's a 4050mah battery and I still can't get 7-8hrs sot using this build. Maximum I could get was 5 hours and 30 minutes on WiFi. 7.8.28 is way better in terms of battery and applications support (lastest WhatsApp version is not working properly in this build).
you have link of this build?
you have link of this build? , i think in 3d apps this new build is best more fps

The OREO rom you prefer and why

with the recent new Oreo roms i am finally thinking of changing to Oreo build roms but i cant make up my mind and i dont have the time to test all of them intensively as i take very long to have my setup in new OS and it would be very helpful to know opinions from you guys
what i am looking for is a rom with regular updates, good camera and stable performance
A lot of them are quite good. At this point, I just want one which will provide me with a stable experience that will keep my device up to date with security patches. Therefore, I am waiting for official lineage but in the meantime I'll stay on RR which is quite good.

With WiFi but without it, there appears to be quite a lot of drain, for me.
Many of the rom are similar, i liked aopsextended the most. But there are common problems to all 1. Receiving call with dialer button swipee is too difficult 2. Delay in connection with hidden network. 3. Problem with using share it or any apps using wifi 4. Some random reboots. I found good battery life in most of them. I got back to nougat.

Just a few questions Thanhtho if you don't mind me asking:
1. Are there OTA updates?
2. Support for thunder kernel?
3. What mode is SElinux on?
4. Does auto face-unlock work as in going straight to home screen after it recognizes your face?
5. How's idle drain and can you post some screen shots? Thanks man!

Hey man, thanks for replying. Do you need to set selinux to permissive if you want to use external 3rd party apps? Thanks.

Alright, thanks for the help Thanhtho!
CrDroid & Resurrection Remix ROM are by far the best, fully featured & user friendly builds at the moment. In the flashaholic forum section I ran down the best 5 Oreo builds (in my opinion).
Take a look and test drive a ROM yourself & agree (or not) with me!

+1,especially when you're in a place with bad network.
Is there any 8.1 rom as of yet that supports camera shutter speed ? (oxygen os blobs and oxygen os camera hal required)
https://forum.xda-developers.com/oneplus-one/themes-apps/port-oneplus-5-camera-to-bacon-t3672557
You can test by using this app. If the pro mode shows up and you can set shutter speeds pls report back.

I have 2 questions regarding Android 10 Beta

1. I installed the beta 5 from the forums, the build number is GM57AA but the system shows that there is an update;
OxygenOS: OP7_O2_BETA_1 of 2035MB, is this normal?
2. Where is the pill shaped navbar?

Hi,
1. I think you installed the Developer Preview 5, but I suggest you updating to Open Beta 1 (more recent and should be more stable), which is the update that you mention.
2. It seems that some OEM removed the pill, I think I eared such thing in a recent xdatv video on youtube.

Ah right, it seems they haven't updated the forum page.
Thank you Fayzrus for the information. I gave it a chance, because earlier I was on the Android version 9 and version 10 MIUI without updating to MIUI 11 but still on Android 9. I must admit that version numbering is a failure and Xiaomi should stick to the Android version and not change the update number. I enjoy the updates, but they will still be the same questions as they appeared here.
This is the Android 10 version and I decided to change it because I wanted to try Google Camera version 7.2 Parrot043
on Android 10 and finally I returned to the version PMGC_7.0.009_Astrophoto_Version_V12. The GCam_7.2.010_Urnyx05-v1.6 version also works on Android 9. So when it comes to Google Camera, I gained nothing and I didn't lose anything.
The Stock camera app works better for it and here for sure +.
Earlier I removed a lot from xiaomi 10.3.15.0 myself, and here there are much less MIUI applications and this is another +.
After 24 hours the ROM seems stable, all previous applications work. I use Nova launcher and also change from x1 to x0 programming options x0 animation scale, x0 animation length, x0 window animation scale. Rom is becoming much smoother and faster. The battery holds a little better than on Androd 9. Signal from the network more or less similar.
As for the installation I changed TWRP

twrp-3.3.1-0-davinci.img 64M 12/12/2019 20:07:02 EST
1.fastboot flash recovery
2.Backup ROM to the pendrive
3.FORMAT / data partition YES
4. WIPE ALL except the pen drive
5. Restart for recovery
6. Wipe All out again except the pendrive
7. Installation of MIUI 11 on Androda 10
https://sourceforge.net/projects/xi...K20MI9T_V11.0.2.0.QFJCNXM_v11-10.zip/download
8.Restart
9. A few minutes are waiting and we have a new ROM
10. Back to TWRP and Magisk Installation Latest Stable zip and later Latest Magisk Manager apk
https://forum.xda-developers.com/apps/magisk/official-magisk-v7-universal-systemless-t3473445
Finally, I managed without any problems and now I am waiting for clean, stable AOSP 10
Someone could check the real widevine status on this rom, please?

Already rooted too. Usually the root method is the same.
Unlocked variant of course. I paid in full so I can root and flash roms. The US model can do this.
