1. For me is nice enough, with good settings on S8 port Noble ROM and good N0G33K kernel is even about ~6h SoT.
2. Even after underclocked, undervolted and on battery saver mode (medium) is smoothly, fast and nice
Don't understand good but yes it's working and isn't problem xD
4. Newest so just better... Must be
5. After UC and UV phone is really much more colder then before even "in stress", I don't playing so much in games but after "my tweaks" which I wrote in point 2 I had ~75k in AnTuTu Benchmark.
6. Every ROM you can root or not, Xposed also is for Nougat ROM's but for me isn't stable and usable enough yet and not compatible with SafetyNET etc.
Sry for my English. BTW look my signature on what i'm. Check also my posts there are some informations how and what to do.

Yup, I see. thanks bro
many users report that battery charging not up while using n only drain the battery. Now I just wait for xposed to be stable n good daily drive. Otherwise only custom rom is better than stock.

Any bugs... Everything works fine. About camera... For me camera from [email protected] Port Rom is much better then before, after install ZeroCameraMod v3 is reaaaally pro-camera. About battery, with that ROM, kernel etc what you see in my signatures + my own Synapse configuration and for example for now my phone is ~22h in standby with ~3,5h SoT and is ~30% battery yet
with the recent new Oreo roms i am finally thinking of changing to Oreo build roms but i cant make up my mind and i dont have the time to test all of them intensively as i take very long to have my setup in new OS and it would be very helpful to know opinions from you guys
what i am looking for is a rom with regular updates, good camera and stable performance
A lot of them are quite good. At this point, I just want one which will provide me with a stable experience that will keep my device up to date with security patches. Therefore, I am waiting for official lineage but in the meantime I'll stay on RR which is quite good.

With WiFi but without it, there appears to be quite a lot of drain, for me.
Many of the rom are similar, i liked aopsextended the most. But there are common problems to all 1. Receiving call with dialer button swipee is too difficult 2. Delay in connection with hidden network. 3. Problem with using share it or any apps using wifi 4. Some random reboots. I found good battery life in most of them. I got back to nougat.

Just a few questions Thanhtho if you don't mind me asking:
1. Are there OTA updates?
2. Support for thunder kernel?
3. What mode is SElinux on?
4. Does auto face-unlock work as in going straight to home screen after it recognizes your face?
5. How's idle drain and can you post some screen shots? Thanks man!

Alright, thanks for the help Thanhtho!
CrDroid & Resurrection Remix ROM are by far the best, fully featured & user friendly builds at the moment. In the flashaholic forum section I ran down the best 5 Oreo builds (in my opinion).
Take a look and test drive a ROM yourself & agree (or not) with me!

+1,especially when you're in a place with bad network.
Is there any 8.1 rom as of yet that supports camera shutter speed ? (oxygen os blobs and oxygen os camera hal required)
https://forum.xda-developers.com/oneplus-one/themes-apps/port-oneplus-5-camera-to-bacon-t3672557
You can test by using this app. If the pro mode shows up and you can set shutter speeds pls report back.

I flashed it and it's laggy, sometimes Ui crashes.. so isn't worth imo
UI lags alot very noticeable, just wait for the fix before updating.
DID u clean wiped your phone before upgrading
Before we start, I did clean flash.
Okay so I saw this Rom in depth.
The full screen gesture has some lag to it, not much and is not a deal-breaker.
The UI is fluent and and looks neat.
Adaptive brightness is more efficient.
It's battery efficient more than the MiUi 10 8.6.14 (I'd say around miui 9).
There are more settings in the additional settings menu(you will see it in the image attached)
Average free ram is 2.1GB.
The camera is same(if not better)
It has minimal Google apps.
Edit
Abort. I repeat. Abort
The rom is sh*t, dont download.
It was fine for 30-35 mins
The buttons are all effed up.

I´m on 8.6.19. Everything is running smooth as it should. Miui 10 is the most fluent rom ever in my opinion. Is it worth to switch back to xiaomi.eu 8.6.16? Can you tell me what additional full screen gesture they implemented in xiaomi.eu rom ?

To fix the lag, i would suggest to flash kirks kernel 1.4 for miui and freeze some stats and analytics apps using titanium.

Change to latest Kirks kernel and play with cpu governor, I recommend alucard or impulse if you want to keep battery life as stock and the lags are gone !

I've been using LightRom for ages which is very stable and has lots of stock functions that I want.
Battery life is very subjective and there's no difinative answer to that one. Very much depends on how you use the device.
I was using LOS for a while (and I've used loads over the years) but battery life is never exceptionally better with one over the other.

Well... My usage of the phone is for daily use like watching youtube, playing mobile games and handling banking apps...
I am somehow worry about the security problems and then I cannot use the banking apps... and google pay.
However, I would rather buy another phone doing banking apps is fine. The most important is the battery life and the smoothness.
The battery in stock ROM oreo is terrible. I have 2 G930FD. One staying in Nougat, the another upgraded to Oreo...I am so regret.

You're right. I had exactly the some. Sold my second S7 with bootloader u5 (Oreo), due to terrible baterry life. Second one is on Nougat with bootloader u2, NFE.PIE rom v4.0 and Helios Kernel plus brand new ExtremeCells battery. Now I usually get 1day 10h with SOT 4-4.5h (best SOT 5h - had on BlackDiamond N8v7 Rom)
BTW my banking apk is very strict and ONLY works on this kernel :good:, no patches, root hide in magisk works etc.

So... which ROM are you using for daily use so that you can use your banking apps?
Using LightRom V20 as a daily driver. Battery life is very similar to latest Oreo (LightRom Oreo). Getting 2,5h SOT over 17-28h standby time, differs on when i charged my phone. Idle battery consumption on v20 PIE is without problem. Oreo rom seems smoother in some cases but PIE OneUI is much nicer. With darkmode i want to use OneUI instead. But I still want to give a try LOS16 latest build. I think last build would be really close to OneUI ROMs.

I'm afraid it's impossible even with patched Odin. You can always try BlackDiamondN8PieV7. It is designed for newer bootloader. You should get better SOT. also check condition of your battery with accubattery.apk. perhaps it needs to be replaced.

How old is your battery?
Hi I have a S7 flat (G930-F) with approx 6h screen on time:
ROM: Lightom Pie [v20], as a daily driver.
this kernel: https://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s7/development/kernel-elite-kernel-samsung-s7-t4022803, with so called "Energy Aware Scheduling"
and this replacement battery from Germany (6 months since installation):
https://www.ebay.com/itm/Polarcell-...851075?hash=item4d91fe68c3:g:94wAAOSwS0teh2Wq
In addition I have Magisk root and the following tips and tricks with it:
1. Magisk modules:
Sysconfig Patch and Universal Gms Doze.
2. L speed apk
https://apkpure.com/l-speed-gaming-battery-saver-performance-root/com.paget96.lspeed
I am using the battery profile.
3. App Ops - Permission manager
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=rikka.appops&hl=sv
Deny Wakelock and Strict Restrcition in Background for
Google Play Store
Google Play Services
Framework for Google... (something)
4. Greenify
Hibernate some apps. Just works.
5. Naptime
Puts your phone in doze mode fast.
6. Underclocking the CPU. *Debatable*
ThunderTweaks | FKM | Smartpack | MTweaks
Big CPU max suggestion: 1040 MHz
Little CPU max suggestions: 1066 Mhz
Governor: schedutil
7. Medium Energy Saving Mode
- HD resolution, not FHD!
8. Use dark mode
Hope it helps!

No, unlock bootloader means you lose widevine L1. Other even lose it forever because flashing persist.img and not even msmtool could restore. So be careful
For me every Phone i get i use this way :
1 : I look at the phone and see how it's really amazing check the box.. accessories.. and everything.
2: Root and install Magisk with custom recovery (immediately )
3: go through initial set-up, register my fingerprint and face lock, G account, and for me i like a fresh start on every new phone, no backup or anything.
4: Install my apps from Google play and see if there's any updates ( I disable some apps that i don't use in example Google movies & tv.. Facebook.. G photos)
5: I Go to settings and I change some functions, and from customization - tone i prefer my phone to be fully dark , Also i change the ringtone and some sounds and i disable both lockscreen, screenshot and dial pad sounds.
6: I take care of my home screen, I rearrange the icons widgets, And folders to the way i like. And my homescreen set up is the same on every phone, I like everything to be simple and( stockish).
And here are some information of my OnePlus 7 pro
Keyboard: SwiftKey
Launcher: OnePlus launcher
Magisk modes: only 2 ( 1 for iOS emojies and special font and 2 make the camera zoom up to 20x)
ROM: OxygenOS 10.3.2 based on Android 10
And that's it, Enjoy your new OnePlus 7 pro You will absolutely gonna love it

Could you update how's your experience with PA ? I flashed it last week used it for a few days and experienced battery drain issue from 80% to 30% in 2 hours of very light usage with only spotify playing in the backgroud. Also can you flash Elementalx kernel with PA?
For me, I'm running
- latest stock rom debloated all of the unnecessary oneplus services and apps
- magisk
- arter97 kernel.. It has been giving me better battery ( increased standby and screen on time.) and much better ram management (really noticeable) since I got the 6 gb ram and with stock kernel it just wasn't able to keep as many apps as arter
