Can you add com.google.android.configupdater.apk to your list? I've found that deleting that from custom ROM s has no effect on ROM performance...thanks. And subscribed, too.

Many thanks for your awesome work! I have a question/request, if it's not too much for you - my phone is a SGN4 (Exynos) running this https://forum.xda-developers.com/note-4/development/air-rom-v1-0-t3630284.
All is ok, but there are some apps (sys or priv) which I do not use - attached .zip with details.
Would it be too much for you to help me with your G-Killer to have those mentioned apps included for removal?
The GApps are removed by me, there are only 2 -WebView and App installer - for which I do not have alternatives.

I've just flashed the latest extreme version zip on MIUIPRO 7.11.9 (MIUI-based custom rom) for Markw(Android 6.0.1) and ticked all of the checkboxes in the AROMA interface and then wiped cache and dalvik cache.After the reboot I've had some FC because the "PrebuiltGmsCore" folder in "system/priv-app" wasn't removed,I've done it by myself,rebooted and now I'm quite ok.
Just wondering - If I use the extreme version - will I be able to flash microG and magisk to go with gapps free s5?

Music seems to work if you select via songs but crashes if you try by album. Also I had no luck at applying any type of theme elements except wallpapers.

Prefer any 3rd Party Apps for temporary
Will fix build once able to do so :\
Ok. Bad things I seen on first use:
- adreno egl is not enabled (its libgles android)
- very slow response on all things (its becouse no hw aceleration?)
- lightsensor auto levels is not good (levels is 2 steps down)
- gallery not working good (when I go to sd card wallpapers and go to folder up, pictures is displayed for about 1 sec and than galery app going "byself" one folder down... repeating)
- system/about_phone/ram is 512mb
- tools/monitor app is not translated
- tools/firewall is not translated
- keyboard special chars like #@$%^&*@! can not see, so can not sign in to google account becouse no @... no space bar
Good things:

Yes partially working I only tried to select album until sobe posted then I tried to select from song list and played.
In regards to the keyboard it does show full keyboard in landscape mode so I was able to log into my google account and and it did sync my calendar and contacts.

Regarding adreno200.so i can provide you but i don't verify it can work on this device.
Slow respond you may need to turn of your animation

what about 500 Mb RAM shown? There is 120 Mb hidden in any place?
The adreno200 libegl libs didn't work, requiring some change to the kernel(guess)... here's the error:
cannot locate 'gsl_memory_alloc_pure'
Due to it's a port cm9 fix mainly frm them and i hope cn solve n might resolve it

where's located your external sd? i'm using Environment.getExternalStorageDirectory() provided by android os to detect external sd, maybe it needs some tweaking

Every time I return from Google Now to the main launcher screen, I get Play Services crash. WTF? Galaxy Nexus, PA 4.6 beta 4 (KK).

Did you installed the newest Play Services?
After installing them, they started FCing every 20 seconds. Cleaning their data solved the crash (at least temporary). Now rebooting...

Hey everyone! I know that there is still alot of time for the Lollipop 5.0 update for our S4. Nonetheless, here are some of its apps which have been ported. I'm sharing these apps, so enjoy and do not forget to HIT LIKE if this post is usefull!!

CALENDAR:
Now the calendar is a bit tricky to install. Some have managed to install it while some can't.
I myself installed it by removing all traces of ANY calendar app in my phone by removing system apps through titanium backup such as the stock calendar and any associated file.
Try searching manually in system/privapp and system/app.
Do not delete SecCalendarProvider.apk and GoogleCalendarSyncAdapter.apk, these are needed for the calendar to work.
Lastly restart and install the new calendar app attached in the link below and install it manually.
This is what worked for me, it may not work for you. Some got it installed by just placing it in privapp folder, deleting nothing. A proper fix still needs to be found

You need to change the build version in build prop.
Delete these files - SecEmail_K.apk, SecExchange.apk, Gmail apk
Then put the three apk listed below in system/app.

I got into a bootloop after edit the build.prop version. I used an app called Build.Prop editor to make this change. The ROM I'm using is Mahdi 2.9. Clearing caches didn't help so I had to reflash ROM. Anyone has any clue/experience as to why this happens?

Messenger - main functions work. But when I try to attach something to the message body, it FCs.
Keep, Gmail - opens, but FCs. When I replace Google Play Services with 5.0 one it opens without FC, but it tells me I have to update Google Play Services. After the update, Gmail and Keep FCs.
Keyboard - works perfectly, also in Landscape mode.
Google Now - works perfectly.

Whoop whoop! I managed to find a gmail 5 apk and I simply uninstalled the current gmail with Titanium backup and installed the new gmail apk normally

Well changing the build prop definitely wasn't the reason. Try to just edit it with an explorer like root explorer.

Did you edit your build prop? Its required to edit it for of the apps to work..

Well this morning I tried editing it again this time using root explorer. However I got the same results, bootloop. Before I edited the build.prop system was working perfectly fine. So as strange as it is, it seems to be the culprit.
The funny thing is that as far as I can see I already have the material design on the launcher and google Now even though I cannot edit the release codename [emoji54]

Yes, for me it didn't change anything.
I9505, 4.4.2 GNG8 firmware, rooted.

Just install Exchange Services then Gmail as normal APK. No need to uninstall any application

I have an issue. When I want to open an email, the app just show the loading cirle ... and don't open it.

First of all, really appreciate your work...
I found a version of Google Search and Google Now Launcher with Material UI as well as hotword detection that work in tandem without any mod need (not even build.prop)...They install like normal apks and can be uninstalled later if required...The only requirement is to insert three libraries into /system/lib and fix permissions (rw-r--r--), means you got to be rooted...

I simply uninstalled Keep with Titanium Backup, deleted the apk from the system/app folder, rebooted, and installed the new apk. No changes in build prop were required and it works just fine [emoji2]

On some of these apps i've seen you need to set your SDK to 25 in build prop but these do have a parsing error.

Everyone I have tried has installed. Not sure why I had trouble at the first.
Almost nothing works and bootanimation has different resolution and looks really bad...

No, problem. It was just an observation anyway. I did notice though that if I changed my build prop back to SDK 24 and reboot, the pixel camera disappeared from my app drawer.

What version does your Google camera show to be when you look in settings, apps? My camera just updated and I'm wondering if it over wrote the pixel one I installed.
