After installing the S Voice app, use a root explorer app to edit your build.prop to mimic that of the SGSIII.
Change...
ro.product.model=Galaxy Nexus
To...
ro.product.model=GT-I9300
Do the same with line ro.product.device
Save changes and exit app. Reboot device and enjoy.
EDIT: Its been reported that this may cause GWallet not to function!!

Well it IS S-Voice, but clearly its not working correctly outside a real S3 right now.

Recently Google has just launched its own Camera app in the Play Store. Simply called Google Camera, the app looks a bit different from the camera software currently shipping in Android 4.4 KitKat.
Google has made a number of improvements and refinements here, introducing a much cleaner interface "that gets out of your way" with a prominent shutter button. A brand new Lens Blur mode promises to achieve "SLR-like photos" offering a shallow depth of field.
Why need of modules?

for those who are not getting lens blur follow this...
open root explorer
bulid.prop
find the line ro.config.low_ram=enable
change it to ro.config.low_ram=false
then save
then reboot...............:good:

on /system/app
you can remove these APKs if you aren't using them.
Browser.apk
Calculator.apk
Calendar.apk
Camera2.apk
Gallery2.apk
SoundRecorder.apk
VoicePlus.apk
WAPPushManager.apk
if you are using these apps.
you can copy them first on sdcard before deleting them.
then install like a normal apk.

Works for me extract and put the .apk in system/app-private folder edit permissions and profit.
Almost forgot a reboot.

sorry to hear that only tested on one m8 and it worked fine
so try to clear the data for the browser
then reboot

Works great on my Nexus 5! All I did was extract from zip and install as normal apk. No moving to system or setting permissions. Signing in with google worked as well. Few very minor graphical glitches on occasion when searching in address bar but nothing major. Thanks for this :good: Missed me some AOSP browsin.

Works and looks great on One M8 5.0.1 skydragon rom. :good: :good:

It won't sync bookmarks unless I am missing something.

Never tried bookmarks myself. Just signed in so I could access g+ and such. Thanks for the head up though I'll see if mime have synced at all.

go to settings-accounts--google sync browser
and Voila
I got 400+ views for the file
well that escalated quickly
but only 13 thanks I wrote it in the instructions for god sake

In a surprise twist, the Google Now Launcher has an update in M!
The drawer now is arranged alphabetically (as always), but has letter separation on phones
It also has a row of what appear to be recently used apps on the top.
On top of that there's a search to filter apps.
The widgets picker has also been revamped, it now scrolls vertically & horizontally (vertically for different apps, horizontally for apps with many widgets)

Moto X 2013 running CarbonROM LP 5.1.1r3 and hotwords do not work for me.

Hotkey does not work, and I have also used the updated play services which make Gmail crash. Nice to see the future tho!!!

ok thanks! im just asking because mine not work too. i think we need some additional libs maybe (or other files) on L dev preview it was working after someone find out which files are all required.... i looked into the M lib folder & copied some but it didnt bring hotword back (only in the laucnher) (

Google Keyboard.

Anyone encounter some stutters whenever pressing home button? Not sure if I did something wrong or just some incompatibility with 5.1.1. Swiping is fine though, smoother than before.

You have to change the permissions in the lib files to r-w-r-r
To do that use root explorer or other with file manager with root access

OK guys, I decided to put everything in one post that works on my nexus 5x 100% for me.

5. NavBar Tuner (only for mod 7.1)
6. Added Pixel Navigation Bar Home Button Animation, big thx Charles_l (work only on 7.1, DONT FORGET BACKUP because my script removes some system files for normal work the animation) When you install my mod and have a systemUI crash - reset the system UI tuner settings can fix it.

Same here, System UI crashes repeatedly when I flash this.
Using stock 7.0 and flash kernel.

the build.zip isn't a flashable zip. it's build.prop entries that are too be added manually
edit- never mind, just found the Pixel_Mod.zip

No, I did as I like

I had tried installing your pixel mod zip on top of the new 7.1 beta and got constant system UI FC. Not sure if that is just a 7.1 issue or not but just wanted to share my results. I was however able to do the build prop change for google assistant, install the pixel launcher and root and install twrp.

Thanks for adding the 7.1 version now my 5x is pretty close to being a pixel. Now if I could have the round icons and the quick menus instead of one or the other all would be perfect.
