where's located your external sd? i'm using Environment.getExternalStorageDirectory() provided by android os to detect external sd, maybe it needs some tweaking

Here's a mod for the Mms.apk.
The biggest feature, and the reason I modded this, is to get 160 characters capacity per SMS for non-English languages, and not 60-70, with extra costs for lengthy messages!

If you try to install it as a normal APK it will fail.
You need to push it using adb,
OR
Backup your current Mms.apk before using this one.
Using Root Explorer (or any file manager of your preference) copy file to /system/app.
Set proper permissions (rw-r--r-- or 644).
Set File ownership to root:root.

I have a possible solution.
Backup Mms.apk and Mms.odex files (/system/app) then delete them and install (like a normal apk) this one:

We discovered a little issue with odexed ROMs (settings get reset on app restart or phone reboot), so I removed the new APKs from OP.

for quickpic to work do:
open quickpic.apk with winrar...extract lib folder...inside there are 2 sub-folders....just take lib from armeabi folder and put it directly to system/lib/*...and set permissions to 644 mode or like on screenie:
copy quckpic.apk to system/app....set permissions as above....reboot....done

for the bootanimation, just go into the themes and app section and look through, once you find one (not update.zip, just the bootanimation), go into system/media and paste it there and fix permissions (rw-r--r--).
for the font, just download rom toolbox and download a font that you like from that app (i use conforaa)
about the wallpaper, i dunno about that but maybe someone else does.
suggestion, name it version 1.0 or something cause version a sounds kinda wierd imho

The icon pack is same as the flashaple zip that we were used to flash in recovery which has 2 files CSCAppResource.apk and CSCAppResource.xml... For WizIconizer it is not compulsory to have the file name as CSCAppResource ... you can name the apk and xml any name but should be same for both files....

it will scan the card/sd card? or the file should be located in a specific folder?
I copied the Icon pack Belle to the folder on the SD card (or it is should in rood directory?)
EDIT: in root directory copped, but in the app it is not visible
EDIT: even rebooted the device - BUT I do not see the pack in the Local tab

Bro...I am already mentioned you can copy the files anywhere in the sdcard or internal memory ... but you have to extract the zip file... then only it will show in the local tab.... extract the downloaded package

Sorry for the problem .... I was forget to add the READ / WRITE external directory permission ... It may be because of that ... If you copied the files in external storage it may be because of that... I updated the app with the permission fix ... please download and test again ... if still not working please mention your phone model and Android version .....
