My talking hank mini game - Android Apps and Games

Hi all,
Haven't been here for a while.
So I need help. A very dear friend of mine has this app called my talking hank - basically it's like a modernised tamagochi hehe, you have this pet and you need to take care of it. Now here's my question this app let's you play sort of mini games and there is one specific I would like to download either the exact one or a very similar app. The name of this mini app is fruit boom - basically you have this sort of cannon and you have to hit these fruit boxes. The higher the times you hit the more hits requires to break these boxes. There are no levels sort of at least. Anyone knows how I can download this particular part of the app or something similar to it please?
Thanks and best regards

a music editing app like audacity
and (my favourite) a light saber app
game
Well 1st congradulations on becoming a developer. I too in my spare time develop but I develop games. If this is your 1st time developing a complete project I would suggest a simple game. A game like pong, space invaders, or pacman. I dont know your level but those can be made relatively easy and give you time to add something to make an original twist. Since I program in C language I dont know if any of the commands are similar in java maybe I could help. Goodluck on your project and keep us posted.
This is proly a tough one, but one I would (and many others) love to see on our HD2 phones.
Netflix watch instantly app from our queue.
Why they half assed the Netflix app in the first place is beyond me.
thanks for all the suggestions guys! knew some of you here on xda would be happy to gimme some ideas. First i thought nobody was gonna bother replying. lol. thanks again and I will keep you guys informed when i decide what to do and if I need any help. Thanks a lot everyone.
I just noticed your handle; football-fan. I am assuming you mean soccer?
Perhaps combine your love for the game with your project and develop something relating to the upcoming World Cup.
An app that has the game fixture, match time etc. It could also connect and update scores and match stats as they happen. It could keep track of the heats and results. Keep a tree/chart of who wins and loses, who makes it to the finals etc.
I have no doubt there are plenty of people out there who would love an app like that. Especially considering you could produce something that is ad free. I am assuming that any official app that comes from commercial organisations will be plastered with sponsorship logos and the like.

thanks for the idea!
but my lecturer was saying it would be better if the apps that we make would require move.. interaction / input from the user?

How about a playlist editor for wmp? Something that would allow you to browse folders and select tracks and build a playlist from scratch.
It may seem a pretty plain application, but it would mean coding a decent GUI (that would obvously run purely on user interaction), but it would still have some more "gutsy" stuff, like system access, reading folder and files etc., and you'd also have to make sure you can build a playlist file. (I have no idea what format a playlist is in - it could be a simple list, but is more likely to be xml)

[GAME][APK] Egg Catcher

Hi, I would like to ask for your help for our study. We created a game, entitled Egg Catcher, for our study/thesis. Our professor told us to post this game online to have an online evaluation, thus, we cant afford to upload it the market because it's a bit expensive for us. So we decided to post it here in the forum.
We kindly ask for your feedback, whether it is good, bad or if the game needs improvement, and also your comments about the game's compatibility issue. As far as I know, the game works well with Samsung Galaxy Ace S5830.
I attached some screenshots of the game such as the Main Menu, the game itself and the highscore. I also attached the apk of the game.
This is for educational purposes only, thank you guys!

Thank you for your comments and suggestions! About the force close issue, my partner, Pat Soo, already fixed the bug when entering the high score after the game. I've attached the new apk of our game, hope you like it!
_____EDITS_____
I tested it using my LG-P690 Optimus Net.
Great Start!
I checked it out using CDMA Razr XT912. I noticed a couple of issues among the other things that have already been said, (no volume control, posting name FC).
On the Razr;
1. The eggs fall all the way to the bottom of the screen, but, when they break they show up near the top 1/4 of the screen instead of on the "ground" at the bottom...
2. The sound buttons in the main menu, the sound button on the left works to turn off all sound effects and music, but the one on the right (Musical Note) does not work.
3. When opening the application, it goes straight to the high scores board instead of the main menu screen.
4. the rate of eggs dropping increases at a EXTREMELY high rate, this may be the desire of the developer but it seemed that after just a minute there were more eggs dropping than could ever be caught with accelerometer controls. (although contrary to other posts I have seen on this the speed of the accelerometer controls worked very well for me, quick and smooth with the Razr. Differences in manufacturing of each device and the accelerometers used in each could really cause some issues across a wide variety of platforms so a touch option would be a nice choice.)
5. Finally the last thing that I noticed is that if you press your "Home" button while still in a game it will not pause or even stop the music, so you will have to reopen the application from your app drawer to close out the game and stop the music.
I like this concept for a simple children's game and with accelerometer controls it could even be useful to help development of hand eye coordination skills. sadly as stated the wide variety of accelerometers in devices could cause a great variance of control speed, I think this is a really cool class project and hope to see more and more of these types of projects shared!!!
OVERALL RATING: Still sanding out the rough spots but... TWO THUMBS UP!!!

[GAME][2.1+] Lexigon 1.1 - FREE Word Game!

Hello Everyone!
I've spent a year writing a cool word search game, and I've just ported it to Android.
My Game is FREE and is in Google Play -
(if I wasn't a noob a link would be here) Google Play - Lexigon
Have a play with the game and let me know what you think!
thanks!
andy
PS: There is some proof that this game was enjoyed as far back as the 15th century, but don't listen to me read on...
( well if I wan't a noob, another amusing link would be here. search for 'LazyBrush', 'Lexigon' and '15th Century' for those will a will)
PPS: Maybe a kindly soul can post these two links in a reply?
PPS: Version 1.1 removes 'Read Contacts' Permission. Thanks for Comments!
I will check the game out..

Cool game! Do you get more points for longer words?

Is there a reason for the app to read contacts?
Sent from my PG86100 using xda premium
Hello again,
Thanks for downloading and for the feeddback!
I use 'Scoreloop' for the online high score and it requires access to contacts. I know it sounds scary but I think that is standard for any online high score server isn't it? (I tried using GREE but it seemed very alpha when I did the port and so didn't compile!)
Yup, longer words more points. Later levels more points. Nice coloured Lexigons more points, blue and green. Bad coloured ones less points, black and red. You can tap to select letters and double tap to submit word, or much faster just slide and release to submit word makes the game very fast.
Glad you all liked it, all I need now is more downloads. I feel like Agent Smith from Matrix....MORE....
Thanks again,
Andy
will try +1 download )
but why strange permissions are required?

I've done a little more digging why Scoreloop require, or should I say, in the integration guide said I needed to include access to contacts.
This article, (I'm still a noob - so URL changed to not be a URL), talks of another developer using scoreloop asking the same question.
http support.scoreloop.com discussions/questions/78-read_contacts-permission-for-android
Seems I can remove the permissions for contacts read without a problem. I will do that promptly.
Thanks again,
Andy
really fun game, thank you! Works perfectly on MM2.
Update
Hi,
So I've update this game without the Read Contacts permission. Game still works fine! Thanks again for trying the game and all the comments!
Have Fun,
andy
Great game, very addictive!
However, the game/server doesn't seem to be logging my scores...
When I start the game, it says my high score is 2800... despite having gone over 50,000 a few times. In fact, I just did 65,000 (? - not sure of the exact score now, since there is no record), it didn't appear on that game server.
How about a game pause/resume option, as well as a highscore chart on the phone itself (by playerID: points & level)?
And while I'm thinking , how about adding a different dictionary? I'd love to play this in Spanish too!
I'd also like to understand how to maximise the score, do the letters have an implicit value like in Scrabble? And how are they multiplied/(divided?) by the different colours? I see that getting a 6 letter word generates a lot of points, so is 6 much better than 5, which in turn is much better than 3, etc?

[S] Game To Battle Friends

Hey Gamers! I'm having a hard time finding a great game where I can play against friends (and not some random strangers or automated characters).
Furthermore, the game should NOT find my friends through Facebook or E-Mail but rather phone number or some invite code. Throw recommendations please - but only if you play the game yourself. Thanks!

I would love to know if there are any games like this as well. I have big big BIG 2 installed. It's a card game that you can play (only over Wifi though) with friends. Great if you don't have a set of cards or have hotspot on the road.

Thanks, dude! I'm searching for more like an action game which can be played over the normal internet connection on the phone. Something that makes girls like me giggle, perhaps. Anything fun and amimating? ^^

I am guessing you have tried Words with Friends or Hanging with Friends. Scrabble/Hangman respectively. If you know your friends username you can invite them to a game personally. There is also Draw something which is like Pictionary, I haven't played that one but I hear good things about it.

Draw something oughta be fun, but I hate that an E-Mail address or Facebook is required. Where are all the fun and privacy-aware games?
# still searching... #
Maybe Blobby Volleyball? It's in Google Play.
pocket legends/pocket empires/spartan warfare to name a few...I played these for years and I've met actually some cool people playing these games..we still talk..lol

Repost: HTC ONE X There

My Apologies to Mods, for any mistakes this time ....
suppose this may have been asked in the past, not that I am seeing it in this annoying similar themes frame that keeps sinking lower and lower on my screen as a I type (ARR!!), but I am looking for the interface from original Splintercell games.
To be honest, I have never played the new games for the franchise but I am particularly disappointed with the direction they have taken. The suit and silenced pistol were the trademarks of Splintercell and without them, that game is likened to Grand Theft Auto.
If anyone could make a realistic OPSAT interface in line with canonical Splintercell, I would really appreciate it.
hi, any ideas ?
hi
is it possible to save all my apps i downloaded , so if i install another ROM i can still have them ? thanks in advance
