Hi,
In fact, I am using a i9195 (S4 mini serranoltexx) smartphone with ROM cm-11-20160212-UNOFFICIAL, last unofficial version of CM11, available on this forum. I am also using Open Gapps (pico package 4.4 for ARM).
The issue concerns Google maps : each time I launch the application, after few seconds, i get a message "Maps application has stopped" (not sure of the thanslation, since my phone is in french). I installed aLogCat application to look at the logs, that shows a final error :
"08-29 01:35:14.185 5626 5656 E AndroidRuntime: java.lang.VerifyError: tname=DefaultPool4 - Verifier rejected class alul due to bad method atsu alul.a(android.content.Context, audy) (declaration of 'alul' appears in /data/data/com.google.android.apps.maps/code_cache/secondary-dexes/com.google.android.apps.maps-1.apk.classes2.zip)"
What does it mean ? What is the issue (Google maps is up to date, and so the google applications). Be ingulgent, this is my first message... Aparently, google maps is the only application that crashes.
A detailed log is available here , with a crash generated at 01:35.
Apparently, changing back the runtine environnement to Dalvik (instead of ART) seem to be the solution...

Guys help.
My phone is xperia ray with unlocked bootloader and ics pureness build 11 (of course rooted)
problem 1. everytime i uninstall any application, it says in the end 'unfortunately, the process android, process.acore has stopped', but the application can be uninstalled.
problem 2. all other applications work good BUT
app trailers / appredeem can not be run. when i run them, it says unfortunately apptrailers or appredeem stopped, then the application subsequently goes off.
as of now, those 2 applications are my primary concern because those are income earning appications.
What should I do?
Ever since I installed CM 13 (March 26 NIGHTLY Update), and flashed new gapps, Google Play Store, Movies, Books, Keep, News & Weather etc. have all been CONSTANTLY crashing. Whenever I press OK they just come back up again, it stops after I do it a few times however I can't access any of those services. It seems as if my Google accounts can't sync because my Drive app isn't working properly. I've uninstalled Google Play Books and Movies and Keep. I can't open Google Play Store without causing the crashes to happen. Help is much needed and appreciated. Thank you!
Here's my crash report log for when I try to open Google Play Store

I solved by getting the day 25 nightly and an older gapps (March 2nd).
[Noob][CM13][HowTo]Solve the "Unfortunately, Google Play Services has stopped error".
Hello Everyone!
I researched everywhere about this "Google Play Services has stopped error" and could not find any one method that worked. So I just had a look in the "report" of the error and found out that it wanted location access to continue.
I have the following version of CM: 13.0-20160513-NIGHTLY-falcon
[What I've tried]
As said in other places, I went to
Settings-> Apps-> Google Play Services-> Permissions-> And enabled everything, including Location.
But didn't work. It kept on showing that random error anytime I used any Google app.
[What To do]
So here's what you need to do.
Since this is for CyanogenMod, you may have something called "Privacy" in settings. We're gonna use that.
Goto
1) Settings-> Privacy-> Privacy Guard.
2) Click on 3 dots on right top and tap on Advanced.
3) Under the Location Section, click on Google Play Services.
4) In "Coarse Location", change from " Allowed" to "Ignored".
This should fix the problem. (I've checked this in many phones and it worked!) Click on thanks if it worked!
---------------------------------
EXTRAS: (Only for developers )
On seeing the Error Report, I found that it needed a "Fine" location access whereas, in Privacy Guard, it showed "Coarse" location access (a different less accurate location permission).
I know that, in addition to having "ACCESS_FINE_LOCATION" in the manifest, we also have to request them from the user at runtime (using requestPermissions()) checking with (using checkSelfPermission()).
I guess this Open Source Play Services Edition (which I downloaded) has not been still modified for API 23 . But it said, Marshmallow, If this is really the case, then some develepor please do it! I'm not much into this!
Thank you very much! Just wanted to add as this happened to me a couple times now as well:
If "Setup Wizard" constantly crashes (making the phone extremely hard to navigate) just try to get into it's app settings (e.g. via "Apps" or "Memory") and allow it all of the permissions it needs.
Resource: Google search.
It worked for me thanks ! Motog1 running on cm13
Thank you! You save my phone. I'm beginning to give up my cm13 on Xperia L.
So Play Store is updating my apps just fine in the background, and for the most part I can use it... but it will randomly barf on me with a message that "Play Store has stopped, press here to relaunch".
I eventually went in to the Developer Tools and sent myself a bug report and found a number of system_app_crash events like these (this is just the latest one, there are six with "play_action_button_text.xml" referenced and two with "play_apps_primary_stateful.xml" referenced, fwiw.)

The XML files in question are files inside com.android.vending (the Play Store APK). What on earth does this mean? Is my storage hooped?
FWIW I'm running the latest version of Android 8.0 for the U11 (December security update) that just came out today, but it was doing this on the November security update as well.
It was doing this with version 8.5 of the Play Store was well as the latest version 8.7.10 from the quoted text above as well.
uncheck & disable PlayStore and PlayService app in boost+ battery optimizion....your problem fixed
boost+ change resulation lower of app in battery optimizion mode and new version of play store have problem with this mode
if problem in downloads disable : Download and downloadmanager app in boost+
That looks like it did it. Thanks a lot, it was driving me crazy. I totally forgot about Boost+ because I never touch it and I generally don't like "battery optimizer" apps (all my other phones have been Nexus devices and I've never installed an "optimizer" on them).
If anything else starts crashing in the future I'll have to give Boost a look right away.
Hey all,
I bought a LG V10 on my country’s gray market last week and realized too late that it was a H968 model, i.e. made for the Chinese market and without any Google service installed. Since returning the device is not an option, I’m stuck trying to get it to work.
It was initially on firmware H96810b-CMT-CN (Android 5.1.1, build number LMY47V, security patch level October 2015) but I managed to download and flash H96810d-CMT-CN (Android 5.1.1, build number LMY47V, security patch level January 2016) which seems to be the latest version available anywhere. I don’t dare flash another V10 model’s firmware due to being afraid of an unrecoverable hard brick.
I’ve also tried to unlock the bootloader, but so far no dice. I’ve already ticked the correct boxes in the Developer options, but adb reboot bootloader only reboots the phone normally, and the volume down+power method starts in factory reset mode instead. As a result, I think anything requiring a custom recovery or root is outside my reach. Custom ROMs for H968 don’t seem to exist either.
Anyway, I managed to sideload many of the Google APKs onto the phone in an attempt to get Google services working:
Backup Transport 5.1
Account Manager 5.1 *
Contacts Sync 5.1
Calendar Sync 5.1
Google Services Framework 4.4.4 **
Google Services 12.6.88
Google Play 10.3.12 ***
I’ve marked the problem packages with stars.
* Account Manager 5.0 or 5.1 don’t display any message errors but fail to load the login page while trying to enter a Google account. I bypassed that by downgrading to 4.4.4, creating the account, then upgrading the package back to 5.1. That seems to work.
** GSF 5.0 and 5.1 cause endless “Unfortunately, the process com.google.process.gapps has stopped.” messages that cause the phone to be unusable until I uninstall GSF. GSF 4.4.4 is the most recent version of GSF that works without any error, which is weird for a 5.1.1 device.
*** Maybe linked to the previous error, but while most common Google apps (Search, Drive, GBoard, Keep, Calendar, Tasks) seem to work and sync fine under the current setup, I can’t log into the Play Store at all. I only get the infamous “Error retrieving information from server. [RH-01]”. Clearing caches and data doesn’t work, the error even happens on a fresh install after a factory reset. I’ve tried versions of Play Store as old as 8.7, 7.9 and even 5.5 but they all show that error. Unfortunately this means that most of my paid apps can’t be downloaded on this phone, or can’t check that I’ve already used in-app purchases to unlock paid features.
Any pointers would be welcome for how I could solve those issues.
Update: still no change except to notice that push notifications work randomly. FB lite and Telegram notifications work, Twitter/Discord/Hangouts notifications don’t. Google Services crash regularly, but not to the point of rendering the phone unusable.
I’ve been able to install apps using Yalp, but any app requiring access to the billing/in-app purchase service is unable to do so.
