I have a alcatel U5 TCL 5440a and bootloader is unlocked. I tried Kingoroot and Kingroot. None of them aren't working. Is there any other way to root my smartphone?
If the bootloader is unlocked you can try to boot a custom recovery and flash the su binary that way. Plenty of good guides on how to do this.

How are you trying to root? the best way is to flash root again is by using TWRP. Good luck. :fingers-crossed: The TWRP thread has methods on how to do this.

There are no less than 3 threads dedicated to rooting this device on Marshmallow that are tested and working... did all of them not work for you?
Yeah bro there is such kind of problem on rooting stock marshmallow ROM but I used kingroot v 4.8.2 for rooting if your bootloader is unlocked.

Never use a one-click root method on a Moto unlocked device... Seen way to many bricked devices, always root manually.
It is easy to find, there is a thread in my signature.

If you have current SuperSU and TWRP, and use the echo command to create /data/.supersu it will work, if it isn't please go to thread in my signature and provide details including:
1) Device model and Android version
2) TWRP version
3) SuperSU version
4) Output of 'cat /data/.supersu' from TWRP terminal
And a copy of recovery.log if possible, without more specific information there is nothing that I can do to assist you.

hey, you cant without a custom recovery.
as kingroot stopped working on android 6xx , you should need a custom recovery inorder to root your device.

You need to install a custom recovery, from the installed custom recovery, you need to flash super su zip.
if your device got no custom recoveries, then you cant.....

Hi.
Your bootloader has been already unlocked? Twrp installed?
If you didn't do that, do it before flashing 6.0.1, when you are in lollipop yet. Or on 6.0.1, install twrp by Alcatel flasher
When 6.0.1 installed and twrp, flash SU. Thats all

So... you went to 6.0.1 immediately. Now it need more work to flash a new firmware.
In 6.0.1 you loose fastboot commands, with no fastboot you can´t unlock bootloader.
Solution, you need to force root, i don´t now, maybe kingroot or something like that.
Then install Rashr from Google Play, find TWRP for your phone model, with Rashr, root and TWRP image you can install TWRP!
Whit TWRP, i think you can already flash a ROM, but is better to unlock the bootloader...
To get back fastboot commads you need the ABOOT image from 5.0.2 and a flash zip to flash it with TWRP.
After get back the fastboot commands you can unlock the bootloader and get a "free" phone to flash for sure.
Check this example for a ABOOT zip, you can use it by replacing the ABOOT.img from inside and the splash image for 6045 phone model ( i don´t know, maybe ABOOT is the same!!! )

With Alcatel flasher no need unlock bootloader and you can install twrp.

Alcatel flasher? the Eluga program? or?
I'm talking about Alcatel flasher by DeckerSU
After installing TWRP & SuperSU, can any of the custom roms made for the other 6045 variants be flashed to and work correctly on the 6045O?
Just wondering because I just bought one.
Thanks in advance.
So actually i want to root my phone and for that i have to unlock my bootloader , but there is no oem unlock option in devloper option, i tried that time change method, and didn't work, and i tried fastboot, but fastboot isn't detecting my device, (i checked drivers in device manager, but there was no yellowed drivers (i forgot that symbol name) in other device section. So can anyone help me with this?
To root a phone's Android it's NOT required to unlock its bootloader.
I know , but i want to use superuser method, not by any apps likes kingo root or king root cause of ads issue.
