Problem "screen pixel"

Hi everybody,
I've Nexus 5 with original rom Android Lollipop 5.01
I've a strange problem and I'd like to know if it is a software or hardware problem.
Sometimes, and only with Facebook app, in a part of the screen appear few pixels and they disappeared when I close the app or I move between tab.
Enclosed an example, I reproduce it in photoshop.
Any idea?

Its probably a damaged flex cable. Cheap to replace.

Tky for reply. This appears only on Facebook app, and sometimes.
If cable is damage I think always I had this problem.
And if the problem is the app? It's possible?

Not really sure if it only happens in Facebook then.
I'd say ignore it a bit for now, but if it happens more and in other apps then replace it.

Latest question, is there a way to test this problem? For example by a benchmark app or other?

Don't think so, no. Unless you know which exact colors in which exact pixels are causing the issue, which is pretty impossible.

Tky so much for help

This is a bug in Lollipop and has nothing to do with a hardware defect. I get this in several other apps as well. A fix from Google is already on the way and will be released with a next update of Android.

Ok, but what's the name of this problem? It's difficult to describe it...

Just google "Lollipop graphics glitch" or something like that und you will find many people with this problem

have you tried force stoping and then clear cache then data or uninstalling it

Oh yes but the problem is a bug in Lollipop, check previous post.

EMUI 5.0 Gallery app issue

I just updated to EMUI 5 (B361) and have been testing out the firmware and found out that the photos sections from​ gallery app only shows pictures/video from taken from camera or the screenshots. It's not showing other whatsapp pictures or downloaded pictures in the photos section like it used to in Emui 4.
Can someone confirm if this is only me or is it the same for everyone now?

Google play games lag issue present in every Nougat device. I can confirm it because my note 5 also has the same issue.

Is anyone else having problem with the camera? I can't seem to select the normal camera mode after I select the pro mode.

Google doesn't seem to give a **** about it, it last got updated​ in November. I can also confirm it's the same way on my Moto G.

Are you by any chance facing this issue? The screen timeout setting is disabled for me. can't change it.

That is not a bug.Turn off battery saving option from settings.:fingers-crossed:

Screen timing out/locking while phone is use

Hello All,
My Honor 8 screen is consistently timing out/locking while I am in the middle of using my phone. When it locks, it take about 10-35 seconds for it to recognize my fingerprint to unlock it again. I've played with the screen timeout settings yet nothing seems to work. Anyone experience this issue? Please advise, it's extremely annoying.

notification problem

my honor 8 l04 (emui 5, nougat) device doesnt receive any notification banners at all and its driving me crazy. i have tried to turn it on but it did not work. before i updated, i didnt have a problem with notifications. is there a way to fix this?

For which app do u want heads up?

Instagram, Twitter and YouTube. Though for some reason, I receive banners for Snapchat.

I just realized that too. Both Twitter and YouTube aren't giving me any heads up notifications. Snapchat and WhatsApp are though. Must be some strange EMUI thing.

Do you have the close after screen lock option turned on for messenger? Also make sure you allow messenger to ignore battery optimizations. I did that and I always receive notifications.

I did everything but dont work??

Spotify

I'm on 5.1.8 and I'm having issues with Spotify. When using Spotify it would disappear from the status bar after some time. But Spotify would still be running but I'll not have control over it outside the app.
Anyone else?

I've done that. Issue remains the same. I'm giving them one more month to solve this

I also have this problem. Not sure yet what could cause it.

Yep, still happening. It seems its a problem with OOS as if doesnt happen on my S8.

Maybe not since I don't have this issue.

For every 1 having problems. Do you have Advanced optimization turned on? From settings/Battery/Battery optimization/3 dot menu/Advanced Optimization

No, it's turned off. Spotify is consistently killed every 30min or so for me and sometimes the notification doesn't show. No idea what's causing it.
