I recently bought a Alcatel pixi 4 plus power 5023f. I want to root it. There is a tutorial for rooting 5023 on xda i followed all the instruction but i can t boot the twrp image. I wanted to know if this tutorial is only for Alcatel pixi 4 plus power 5023 or for all 5023x. Thaks for repyying

the apps is in chinese i guess.. i also don't understand.. but after follow the step, my phone successfully rooted..
the tutorial is for TCL Idol X S950.. but it also work even my phone is Alcatel One Touch Idol X 6040D..
some said that this app work with most all of alcatel one touch product..

Download kingo root and install on your pc, your phone will keep restarting while rooting, but its ok, once done click on finish and you are done

I have an alcatel 7040N, its from metro pcs, i need to flash it and cant be detected by alcatel upgrade tool. Then i wonder if someone knows where to get some rom for this model to load it from sdcard.

Sorry ... there is not much about your exact device on xda.
I found this thread: Alcatel One Touch Fierce 2 7040n Root/Bootloader/Recovery by DonSolo.
Maybe you can ask there ... you just have to register on xda first.

while there are no direct tools in XDA for rooting your device... there is an external link shared in this thread https://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2656597
its a vide tutorial with the instructions if that doesn't work... google search is the last friend

As far as I know, the newer Tracfone devices are almost impossible to root. The bootloader is locked as well.
hi, were you ever able to get it rooted?? I just got the alcatel raven lte a574bl through tracfone and i have been having the hardest time getting it rooted! i have tried everything, and not getting anywhere so wondering if you were ever able to and if so how? thanks!
