Antutu and GeekBench 4 Benchmarking - T-Mobile LG V10 General

Anyone try running Antutu and Geekbench 4 under Nougat and compared it to MM results?
I'm curious if it's just my device or if the results are supposed to be that slow after upgrading to Nougat 7.
I am currently averaging 55000-58000 on Antutu 6.1.7 and around 1000 Single CPU, 2700 Multicore on GeekBench 4. (Will post screenshots later)
T-Mobile Model 901
Please post your exact model if you post a screenshot of your results. Thanks!

ok here ya go
I'm on N 7 update plus fresh wipe. And didnt reinstall settings on firstboot. So who has the MM results, here is my screenshot btw I'm running a lot of crap on this phone so ask if ya want a list of magisk and xposed moduals I'm running oh I also have the govtuner software and enable-sdcardfs-3.0 don't know all my variables, this phone eats battery. I use the 10000mah extended battery from 100% to 52% 7am to 8pm

here is my other benchmark
Not so good as a s7 ECT ECT but better than the one plus one and one plus 2

Thanks for this.
I don't understand why mine is always lower. Its a freshly restored to default T-Mobile LGv10 running Nougat 7 I just got back from LG under warranty with a replaced board.
I wonder if it has a slower Internal disk than my other board and that's what's affecting the benchmark results overall.

[Q] Disabling Cores (Root)

So I finally decided to root my G Flex 2. I've been talking about disabling cores for a while. Thought it may help the thermal throttling issues. Once I rooted the device I downloaded "Multicore CPU" and started disabling cores in a couple different combos. I've finally settled on disabling cores 4 and 7. Since I disabled the two cores heat has not been an issue and cores 5 and 6 are running at 2ghz. Reduced lag, and benchmarks have shot up some. Personally enjoying the lagless environment. Figured I'd post my experience with this. I'm hoping overall battery life will be better as well. Won't know for a day or two though. Oh and it stays cool while charging and in use. It used to get really hot before.
Anyone else have any experience with this?
So here are results of disabling cores and thermal throttling or lack there of now.
I also want to note that my benchmark scores were lower than the note 4 after some updates until now

4 and 7 are not active unless 5 and 6 are under heavy load I believe. I've just made it so they never turn on.
I'm also using software ls996zv5
It's the sprint model

Ok on YouTube mine gets a bit warm but not as hot as in Chrome (on normal sites, nothing fancy). Watched twitch in Full hd for an Hour yesterday without any heat...seems like some Apps are better optimised for the sd810 than others
Are we getting a sd808 by disabling 2 Cores?

It looks like SD810 is a peace of crap. The Flex 2 compared to my Oneplus One is like an Opel / Vauxhall Astra compared to an BMW X6.. Very disappointed..

I am also coming from oneplus, I must say you are sadly right. Newer is not necessary better in this case.
I hope with some optimalization this can be a Ferrari.
I was already let down by LG a few years before, let's hope it is not the case now.

Hope that with android 5.1 everything will change for better.. :fingers-crossed:
I have the AT&T version of this phone and for me cores 4,5,6 and 7 are always on except when the cpu goes above 36C then cores 4 and 7 automatically get disabled. I'm also not experiencing any lag and it's actually very smooth and fast. It also doesn't get very hot unless I run Antutu benchmark like three times in a row. What kind of CPU temperatures are you guys seeing when your phone gets hot?

I also have the at&t version. There isn't much lag, but it gets pretty hot. Where do I check CPU temp?

You can download Cpu Temp from the play store or I also see it in kernel apps like Trickster MOD.
My galaxy S4 used to get warmer then this phone when watching Youtube or browsing in Chrome.

The highest i've seen is 47C and it does make the phone feel warm but not any warmer than my Galaxy S4 used to get.

My phone is around 40C when playing games or browsing the Web.
With another firmware wersion I was getting temperatures around 48C. That was Killin the battery in minutes.
This is what I deal with when all 4 cores are running

Antutu Benchmark score (too low?)

Hi,
My Z5 barelly reaches 50000 Antutu score. Usually (depends on the temperature of a device) it is below 50000. I am running 64Bit version. I was expecting somewhere near 60000 (as have read in some press releases, reviews and since its HW is comparable with Galaxy S6)
What are your scores?
My score, this morning : 60883
seriously guys? benchmarking? lol.
I'll do a benchmark for your phone right now 58985
That will be just as accurate as those crappy benchmark apps
Sent from my Xperia z5 by Tapatalk
My maximum score.
I get the same low score. I don't know why everyone seems to get above 6000.
just right now...no rebooting or anything....just installed antutu and ran the test....64bit "addon" was installed too.
Just found out....that makes the Z5 the fastest SD810 device! Whoohooo
Note 5 still rules hehehehe
This is my korean note 5 modded to a vietnamese from 920k to 920c still kicks ass hehehehe
Just ran the test on my Z5. Stock rom.
Score 67785
It means nothing. In everyday use my Z Ultra feels a lot smoother. Same apps, same Stamina options, same Android version, stock rom.
79k
Mine, 79K in a glass table at around 10 C degrees
E6603 telcel.
firts time i ran ( when i bought it) it scores 69k

You don't need to, if the phone is smooth and snappy during operation, that is your performance test.
These tests are garbage, too many things going on your phone in normal operation, so while you are testing your phone is still doing stuff in the background consuming resources.

6.0.1 Official, Antutu <50k scores?

On 6.0.1 Beta I got a 49k score in antutu, now in official version I only get 47k! On 5.1.1 I had 80k scores, and now samsung took away 50% of performance from us? And the worst things is that I can notice that performance drop in everyday usage. I feel like samsung wants to force us to buy Galaxy S7 . Anyone got the same problem?
My score is 81.000 on 6.01. I think you should factory reset/wipe cache/reflash. It seems like something happened with the update.

Is your phone connected to charger while doing the benchmarks. I think it throttles ... Put it in the freeze or do benchmark after you woke up in the morning. Btw i never run a benchmark test for me the everyday usage its what meters ... Delete the antutu and dont be obsessed about numbers
Don`t care for benchmarks(especiually for Antutu which is broken in SOOO many ways)

I've tried everything. Even reflashed the phone with odin couple of times + custom roms and yeah. Still the same. And when I flashed 5.1.1 again my scores are 80k again. No idea why.

Benchmarks-Antutu, Geekbench etc

some hate em, some like them for reference.
oddly, first few runs of Antutu (mainly testing my screen and processor for heat management), I get the following, no data, with 3D ad-on installed
1) 137K
2) reboot, 135K
3) second run, immediately after Run #2--stopped at 70%
4) reboot, 107K
5) reboot, 108K
I am not a benchmark specialist, but just starting a discussion. What scores are everyone else getting, as this seems pretty low
I don't care much about benchmarks but just for a comparison, it seems Geekbench4 either doesn't like Nougat or it is more accurate, I am not sure. Using Geekbench this phone scores lower on Multi-Core than my Note5 which scored lower than my Note7.
V20 = Single-Core = 1615, Multi-Core = 3924
Note5 = Single-Core = 1410, Multi-Core = 4335
On Antutu, I get 145669 on this phone and I got 143906 on my Note7 so this phone scores higher.
yeah I only did one run on mine ATT version see pic
Odd that the V20 stock (my best run 147K) runs better than the pixel XL with the 821 snapdragon and the upgraded 7.1 optimization (well assumed, that is vs 7.0)
LG has done a great job, for a stock device

There are two version of the 821 chipset. The ECO and the Performance version. The Pixel runs the ECO version (power savings) so its no faster than a snapdragon 820.
my ANTUTU score > 148238
my 1st run Antutu got me ~108000, but it was hot day..
2nd run got ~130000.
3rd time I disabled option "Game battery saver" in power settings and got 148238
156k on weta 5.07

Hi mate,
I remember getting around 176k before Oreo and 180k after Oreo.
These scores can be affected by a number of factors my friend. If you test it while the phone is low on battery while having plenty of apps running it will naturally give you a low test score.
Test it when your battery is almost full and try to leave the phone to cool off after charging then test it once again. Keep your WiFi, location, Bluetooth and mobile data off to get the highest reading.
Keep in mind that if you perform the test repeatedly the battery will get warmer and the score will gradually decrease.
I personally tested my phone once or twice then deleted the antutu app straight after. It may consume your battery life or pose a privacy threat if you keep it running.
When using Antutu I leave my phone off for around 10 minutes until it gets cold and then when I turn it back on and go to do the benchmark I put it in aeroplane mode. All my scores since the Oreo update have been just over 180k.
Oreo
Stock ROM, no tweaks, locked bootloader, no root. Personally liking Oreo (Bluetooth issues aside). My Antutu score seems average for an SD835 SOC.
If you desperately want a high score that means nothing then put the phone in the freezer and run the test
This is my score, one try with stamina mod and the second without (the highest is without stamina)
Its just numbers, doesnt really matter.
I dont care about analtutu benchmarks.
iphoneX scores great, and its slower than our xz premium in most REAL tests. (launching apps, multitasking etc)
179420
Android 8
Stock
Rooted with storm xperifix
I had 1 time 163k and 2 time 180k
184211 xz premium 8.49 stock with 79 app installed
