I found great thread about EMUI 5 rooting:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/p9/development/root-supersu-2-81-emui-5-t3612258
and managed to actually root my Honor 9, my working config is:
Firmware: STF-L09C432B130
Phone: Unlocked
FRP: Unlock
Recovery: STF_RECOVERY_NoCheck.img
Erecovery: twrp-3.1.1-0-stf.img
Data: Encrypted
Working root: SuperSUv2.82-EMUI5-noverity-Enforcing.zip (6a in the link above)
This config actually works.
Happy rooting.

Hi, sorry if I posted in the wrong section. But I cant seem to find any info on TWRP or even official Update.app for this MediaPad T2 7.0 not Pro BGO-DL09. Things done:
1. Bootloader unlocked. (Huawei unlock bootloader page, fastboot oem unlock [the code] ok)
2. Update to the latest version via OTA. (Android 6.0 Emui 4.0 Build number BGO-DL09C209B008)
3. Fastboot boot twrp that i borrowed from mediapad m2 8.0 (official twrp) (not working, operation not allowed)
4. Cant seem to find this particular BGO-DL09C209B008 in official Update.app format.
5. How to actually install and patch boot.img for magisk if I dont have TWRP?
6. Every time I fully shut down the device and reboot it, that dm-verity warning showed up. How to get rid of it, without relocking the bootloader? Will flashing TWRP wipe the dm-verity screen?
7. No. I cannot just use any Update.app that I can get, just because the front is BGO-DL09. The region code is different. See the C209? Unless I can get my hands on any C209 region firmware, Im not going to cross region flash it.
Any help is very appreciated. Thank you.
Sorry to bump. Is there anyone here using this BGO-DL09 and successfully find the official recovery firmware package? need the file, just to be safe before doing anything. yep bootloader is unlocked already.
Have you found any solutions?

Hello everyone.
I come to you because I've searched a lot about S5 VRZ on the XDA forum. My purpose is to root my phone with the latest Magisk version (at least 14.0) and maybe to install a custom Rom on it too (I saw Phoenix v15 which could work f I'm not wrong). But I'm new in rooting and in customizing my phone, so I come here to request your help.
Those are my phone informations :
1) Before doing anything on it I had this : Galaxy S5 VRZ - Android 4.4.4 - BootLoader version ANK2
2) I followed this guide with CID 15 : [GUIDE] Root, Bootloader Unlocks, and More!
At this point I didn't saw this thread which told me I probably did the wrong thing in step 2: [GUIDE] painiac's Essential Guide to Galaxy S5 Flashing, Rooting, Fixing, Customizing
But now I did and after doing step 2 guide I'm in this configuration : Galaxy S5 VRZ - Android 6.0.1- BootLoader version QB2
My phone still work but I don't really know what to do, if I'm right or wrong ? I'm unrooted now, trying to reinstall Magisk on another way.
So my questions are:
What to do with this configuration to get rooted with Magisk version 14.0 at least ?
And after, which custom ROM may I install on my phone and how ? (links are welcomed ofc)
I would really be glad if someone could help me to solve this situation. And I thank everyone who'll fully read this thread for the attention you paid to it (and also because I'm french and probably don't speak a really good englsih ^^')
Thank you for you help and have a good day ! :good:

If you want Magisk, you probably should install it.
It's usually is installed via TWRP recovery as a flashable zip file.

If you don't have TWRP recovery, you probably should install it.
It's usually is installed via Odin as a flashable tar file.

You can only flash TWRP into SM-G900V if the bootloader is unlocked.
Unlocked bootloader looks like this (MODE: Developer):
If you still have not unlocked the bootloader, then you probably should try to do it.
It can be unlocked on the devices with CID15 (determined with this tool, first two digits in CID line).

Following this guide to root
I have successfully unlocked my bootloader but now need the Mag file, but the website he links for the file doesn't have my version. Can anyone help me locating one ?
Hey man if you managed to unlock your bootloader already you can follow my guide to get root on Android 11. https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/guide-root-magisk-for-android-11-oos11-t-mobile.4229305/
It doesn't require a patched magisk image so it's a little simpler.
My baseband is A125USQS3BVB2, my region is OYN (multiregion).
OEM is completely missing (developer mode enabled, past 7 days, not grayed out, completely missing).
I've tried downgrading to Android 10, but it still was missing.
Is there a specific version I can downgrade to that would allow OEM unlocking? (along with a specific date i could change to , just to be sure)
I've tried going through the guides and such, I still struggle to find a method that works.
I only want to unlock OEM so I can root my phone.
There is a guide here on XDA that unlocks bootloader, I have done it. Must be on binary 3 and it looks like you are.

I have tried this guide and it didn't work. Connecting the test point to ground did not boot into BROM.
