Hello,
Well I did rooted but also in while then I unroot it because had a problem with it. When I turn it off and hold on the buttons then show up red triangle I guess I miss some thing wrong. How do I fix it? Give me info please.

the next thing you want to do is download the EZ recovery app from the market and load a custom recovery. CWR or TWRP is our current options.

Hey, When I hold the buttons up volume + home then search in download but it say there no files found I did install CWM in this phone.. So what I do??

To clarify were you able to install clockworkmod? And to get into download mode hold power button + volume down + home button simultaneously. Make sure your phone is connected to your computer and in download mode then start Odin.

Yes, I'm able to install it in my phone on obin and did try three times but there still no found files. Should I wipe it then factory reset?

I did follow that guide as well but there no SuperSu. So do you think I already have it or what?

Did you download SuperSU and place it onto your SD card? It won't find SuperSU in Clockworkmod Recovery if the files doesn't exist on your sd card if you need to you can download SuperSU here.

Well I did install it in market and open it but it say "there is no Su binary installed, and SuperSU cannot install it. This is a problem!"

That's why it didn't work you need to flash the SuperSU zip file found in my previous post in Clockworkmod Recovery in order for you to gain root access properly.

No need to install ROM Manager just boot into Clockworkmod Recovery (Since you said you had installed Clockworkmod successfully on your phone using Odin) a and then flash the zip once it's on your Sd card.

After you download this file http://download.chainfire.eu/315/SuperSU/UPDATE-SuperSU-v1.25.zip?retrieve_file=1 it will be called UPDATE-SuperSU-v1.25.zip which you then place on the sd card of your phone and flash in Clockworkmod Recovery the file named UPDATE SuperSU-v1.25.zip.

Need help after losing root on CM10.2

Could someone please advise on how to keep me from doing any further real damage to my phone?
Here's my story...
Tried to flash Mastamoon's 8/9 build of CM10.2 on my VZW Galaxy S3 from CleanRom7. Used Cwm recovery. It flashed fine but I realized as I was setting up the phone that I lost root. In a panic, I booted into recovery and tried to restore 2 of my CleanRom nandroids but I got an md5 mismatch on both. So then I was able to restore my original 4.0.4 nandroid I made directly after rooting my phone last year. But still no root.

Pls note the baseband version as I flashed invisiblek's firmware zip about a week ago while on CleanRom. I realize now that there was a procedure in Mastamoon's thread about what to do if root was lost but I didn't read it before trying to restore my nandroids.
My phone is functioning right now but I would greatly appreciate any help trying to reroot and get back to where I was. Can I try to flash 4.3 again and then follow the steps in mastamoon's op to achieve root again? Thanks in advance

Are you absolutely sure root is gone? Try to download SuperSU and try to update the binaries.

Look in the CM10.2 thread for a superuser.zip file that you can flash in recovery. Once you boot up CM10.2 you need to go into the Developer Options and change Root Access to apps and ADB.

So is it safe to boot into recovery from where I am now and flash 10.2 again. Then download and flash the superuser zip file? Just not sure what order to do things. Also I know i have to go into developer settings and change root access to apps and adb there. I'm a bit of a noob and just wanna do things in the right order. Thanks for taking the time to help out.

I'd boot into recovery and flash SU first then flash your ROM.

It should be fine.

I'm not able to boot into cwm via Rom manager. Nothing happens when I click ok. Is there another way to get in to cwm to flash those files? Btw, thanks for your patience.

With the phone off hold down home, volume up and power until you see the Samsung logo flash, it should then boot into recovery. You could change your recovery to TWRP through the Goo Manager app if you wanted. Do you have Recovery showing in your Power menu when you go to turn the phone off?

There's no option in the power menu to boot into recovery. I was hesitant to manually boot into recovery figuring I'd end up in the stock recovery not cwm.

You'll be fine, you really can't mess it up, you no longer have a stock recovery since you have CWM installed.

do some more reading. you don't seem to fully understand what you are doing. if you have CWM , your stock recovery is no longer existent.

I ended up in Android System Recovery so I just rebooted. Would this have anything to do with a locked bootloader? I had previously used Ez-unlock v1.2 when I first rooted but its not on my phone anymore.

So you're on a stock Rom right? Just accept an ota update then reroot again.
If not, then odin back to stock and reroot.

Yes, stock rom. I am on the first nandroid I made right after rooting before I started flashing custom roms. I should read up about odin-ing back to stock. But I think I'll take the ota and reroot. Would the firmware I flashed a couple of weeks ago cause any problem with an ota update? Guys, thanks for your time and advice.

Before I lost root, I was using cwm as my custom recovery. When I was finally able to restore this stock rom nandroid, I downloaded rom manager again and it shows cwm 6.0.3.1 as my current recovery. But I can't boot into it as I described earlier. I also tried to flash cwm again thru rom mgr but it gave me an error notice.

No it wouldn't, if you take the ota it'll rewrite your rom, firmware, kernel, and recovery and put everything on the same base. Then once you reroot everything will be on the vrbmf1 base and you should be good to go.
The reason nothing is able to flash recoveries is because you lost root permission. The only way for you to get it back is to reroot since you're unable to use SuperSU.

Well, the ota failed to update. Tried a few times. So i'm gonna start reading about odin-ing back to stock. Hope i can count on advice from you guys as I move ahead. Thanks again.

Just tried. Followed steps, installed ROM successfully. However when attempting to install gapps restart to recovery goes to android recovery not twrp. Cannot then mount the sdcard to install gapps. Will try via ADB sideload later when I get back from work. Either way, the TWRP recovery gone.

I presume the only way back if that doesnt work is go flash stock rom and re-root and reflash recovery again?

Reflash recovery with fastboot should work.

Before I flashed I updated twrp...unfortunately it wiped my device... Anyway, will download again and let you know...

Just tried flashing this on my nexus 7 2013 flo how it says above but wen I hit reboot system it asked was I sure as device doesn't have a os on device dunno wot I done wrong anyway so I installed latest clean ROM stock rooted ROM and dirty flashed this over it never passed Google logo and went back into recovery so tried wiping again same thing happened so tried elementalx 5.0.2(6.0) kernel to see if it would boot but still no luck what am I doin wrong??

You aren't doing anything wrong!
Twrp doesn't recornize the file system because it is a block device image.
Do a full wipe including system, flash the zip file.
Reboot.
Ignore the twrp error!

Just tried wiping system/data/caches then installed ROM and i ignored the message no os installed and rebooted device but it just reboots back to recovery after displaying the Google logo

Do you have multirom installed?
If so don't inject multirom in the kernel!
Multirom doesn't work with marshmallow kernel

I do use multirom so I'll uninstall multirom then try because it injects multirom automatically it doesn't give me a choice I don't think.

Hi i tried rooting my phone and it failed and now it just stays on the logo saying recovery is not seandroid enforcing. I've tried using odin to bring it back to stock form but it just fails. I only got the phone on saturday and if my mum finds out she'll kill me. Please help me ASAP.

I have same problem b4 bro but when i flashed stock rom downloaded from sammobile then flash it via odin then it works again.

So you want to reflash your phone to make it stock again?
If that's the case you can download the newest stock files from sammobile (WARNING SLOW ASS DOWNLOAD)
Once you've downloaded the latest firmware you can flash it to your phone with odin, it will make your phone stock again
Once you have done that, go into the recovery and factory reset. (By holding the powerbutton+home+volume up whist the phone is turned off)
This will however wipe your data. I advice you to make a backup beforehand.
Then just setup the phone like a new phone, or restore it from a backup on samsung's cloud (if you have a backup there).

Most probably you flashed wrong ROM. So please let us your model number ? (g920i or g920f or g920t,...) and your country. .. so you can take right stock rom to revert back..
Galaxy s6 very very hard to hard brick. . So don't worry you can get the phone [emoji1]

Doesn't the "recovery is not seandroid enforcing" appear at the top left of the boot screen regardless of the rom? I thought it was because of the non-stock recovery.

When you flash a custom recovery, you need to boot to recovery on your first reboot, otherwise your phone will override it. Flash your custom recovery again, and when you restart your phone, hold volume up, power and home button.

recovery is not seandroid enforcing <- this text means you have custom recovery.
But as the guy said s6 replaces the custom recovery as soon as you reboot it after flashing custom recovery,so you need to boot back in recovery mode(hold the vol up,power,home button as soon as it reboots).
and just go to any website (sam mobile and download the suitable stock rom for your mobile,country p.s slow download)
have you disabled knox before trying to root it or before flashing stock rom with odin?
try to put it in download mode then flash that stock rom
and as you said its in boot loop,you can fix it,its not bricked

If you want to restore stock back. Please download stock rom for g920f from samfirm tool.
In the tool put model and region . Once you downloaded , flash the rom using odin tool.
In the tool pls check decrypt automatically

If you want to restore stock back. Please download stock rom for g920f from samfirm tool.
In the tool put model and region . Once you downloaded , flash the rom using odin tool.
In the tool pls check decrypt automatically

Yes. I always use this tool download stock firmware.
we will get full download speed, not like sammobile.com dead slow speed.

I recommend anyone to follow these instructions from @sendhiloo7 if you need to download stock firmware. It is WAY faster than other methods. ?

T-Mobile Galaxy J7 2016 Sm-J700T "T" variant Recovery Options?

I ODIN the latest TWRP but seems the "T" variant doesn't work with it. Anyone out there know of recovery options or status for the newer 2016 J7 "T" for either TWRP or something else?
No recovery access and typical Red "Recovery is not SEAndroid Enforcing" message on top left.
Lastly, if can't get a custom recovery now, does anyone have a stock recovery that could be ODIN back to the phone?

I just went to tmobile came home and tried to flash the recovery listed here to get root and now have the same issue. Anyone able to point is in the right direction?

No one has a stock image for the phone?

The F varient is a 5.1.1 recovery so it will not work and to root you need to use F varient chanfire auto root it will look like the phone is stuck and will reboot 3 times and reset your phone but you will have root but no recovery until one is made

Oh on the rooting note the screen will glitch out like it is broken dont worry just let it sit there till it reboots donnot touch it after flashing f varient chainfire autoroot

So we can get root but not a custom recovery at this point it seems. I think I have found the firmware for the phone if that helps someone with making a custom one for it or can get people back to at least stock recovery. https://mega.nz/#!lARnjKKA!kd2N64PkfdtpvZiRGVUG-lj81uL8vHoltjaMoByILq4 I'm not sure if that is definitely it or not but if someone can tell if it is and would let us T people know that would be awesome.

The firmware you have posted is the correct firmware .
On another note i would build a recovery but my computer is down for the count until i buy a new mobo

Created Stock Recovery to Put Back For Now
Since we were all messed up applying TWRP Recovery. Here is the ODIN flashable stock recovery Android 6.0.1. Just created and flashed it back to my T-Mobile SM-J700T and it says Official once again instead of Custom. For those interested in putting your phone back to normal for now. Test booted into Recovery as well.

As for the SM-J700T1 i have no idea i only own the J700T if you wish to give it a try feel free to report back if it did or not but honestly i wouldnt try until a more stable way of rooting is found for the J700T and J700T1

OK got the stock recovery reflashed..... If we do the 700f root do we have to reflash the stock recovery?

After I restored my stock recovery I couldn't get the J700F autoroot to work or do anything. After flashing the CF Autoroot. It would just reboot, show the Red SEAndroid no enforcing blah blah message and boot normally.
What am I missing or need to do to flash the "F" autoroot to work? Seeing as you seem to have accomplished it. Using ODIN 3.10.7 in download mode. Tried twice a day ago and just ended up flashing the stock recovery back on since nothing ever happens.

Yeah I have tried it about a dozen times with no love so far

Ok heres what you do.
1.Flash stock J700T File
2. Download Chainfire autoroot for J700F
3. Odin J700F autoroot
it will hang on seandroid enforcing then boot to bootanimation then reboot and boot to bootanimation a second time then it will hang the screen will then glitch out like its broken and it will reboot again and boot fully i have tested this multiple times and it works everytime for me

I wonder if there are slight differences in the phones. That's what I did and got a bad recovery but no root either before or after flashing the stock recovery guess I will try again tonight.

That is the process i have used to get root the difference is one is 5.1.1 and ours is 6.0.1 i rooted mine that exact way that i typed out

So basically your saying I need to reflash THE ENTIRE phone back to stock before trying the autoroot again? Even though it is stock to begin with. That means setting it up again. Don't understand why it wont work to begin with. I install samsung drivers, use the ODIN correctly flashes fine. reboots and just boots up normal back to phone desktop screen. I'd hate to reflash the entire firmware and still not have it root when I try.
I mean it obviously flashing something cause it always completes and I can always flash the stock recovery back.
