Hello,
I want to make or flash a custom bootanimation to my oneplus 3 (wich is exactly the same as the 3T). Someone can help me with this? i have the oneplus 3 collete bootaimation downloaded on my pc, since i can't get the normal one But how do I add text, because the rectangle is just as small as the circle of the animation. I have rooted my phone etc. Any help? Or if a helpfull person wants to do it for me, I just want it to say samewhere above or beneath the animation "Welcome Gilles" in the same font and color is the oneplus logo at the very beginning. Thanks in advance.

Hi there
Noob here
Sorry if posted the wrong place.
As the title states, how to replace the lockscreen via adb?
I accidentally patched my old lockscreen (with metamorph) with unsuitable blackbar lockscreen and now I cannot start my phone
I boot my phone (taking battery in and out many times) and still, its the same --stuck at the android boot screen and cannot do anything.
I cannot launch any application, run launcher home app.
I have a feeling that the unsuitable lockscreen i patched is the "culprit". So I wanted to disable the lockscreen and enter launcher home app successfully.
The below attachment is what I used to patch my lockscreen.
I would appreciate if anyone can provide me with original android lockscreen suitable for my U8150 or any file suitable and instructions. Thanks
Please help me or PM me. Very urgent.
Note: Did not do any backup because I cannot enter recovery mode. I cannot/don't know how to flash any boot images or recovery images. Tried button combinations, either give me a pink screen or IDEOS boot screen.
Sorry for my english!

hi guys,
just a little question, I'm pretty sure most of you have the answer: I bought a T-Mobile HTC One S on eBay (excellent condition), and I'm trying to get rid of all the T-Mobile crap.
I unlocked bootloader, TWRP, root + read-write kernel, so I've been able to get rid of all the apps I didn't want. There's only 1 thing (actually 2) I don't know how to get rid of: T-Mobile splash screens (welcome and shutdown).
I have another HTC One S cell, not associated with a carrier so I know what a carrier-free startup looks like (only the white HTC splash screen). I'd like to have the same on my second One S (which is for my wife). On the T-Mobile One S, I have the T-Mobile splash screen PLUS the regular HTC splash screen.
Question: is it possible to get rid of these extra splash screens from T-Mobile?
I read that I may have to play with command lines like this one "fastboot flash splash1 mysplash.rgb565" but none of the threads I read what about the One S. And I don't want to replace T-Mobile splash screens, I just want to remove them in order to only keep HTC splash screens...
thanks
Are you trying to get the boot splash off or bootanimation. I think that bootanimation have the tmob logo. It has been a while since I had stock boot splash or bootanimation. The bootanimation is in /system/customize/resource and file name hTC_bootup_one.zip. The splash screen I flashed trough software. Can not remember the name at this time. I did trough fastboot but that was on MT4G.

I don't know what's the difference between boot splash and bootanimation... On my HTC I only have an HTC animation at startup, but on the T-mobile cell I have a T-Mobile animation BEFORE the HTC animation.
I'm gonna compare files in /system/customize/resource folder, this might help me figuring out how to remove T-Mobile animation. Thanks.
Files found!

OK I checked and you were right: in both cells I have
- htc_boot.mp3
- hTC_bootup_one.zip
- hTC_downanimation.zip
and in T-Mobile One S I also have (in same folder):
- TMOUS_downanimation.zip
- TMOUS_rockey_bootanimzation.zip
Do you think I can just remove those files to get rid of boot up and shut down T-Mobile animations? No chance of bricking? I'll do a full TWRP recovery prior to trying this of course!
Done.
I followed this thread for an HTC Amaze 4G and it worked like a charm : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1414794
Yes. If you delete then will go back to stock(HTC). I made my own splash and boot/downanimation and put my mp3 in it. Just for fun.

Hi, just got a new Pixel C. Love it but I want to change the white Google boot logo. Note I don't mean the "bootanimation.zip" (that's easy to change) I mean the White Google text that comes up straight after I click the power button.
Can anybody explain the boot process and where the image is stored?
I have a similar question for Nexus 9 as well if anybody has any idea on that as well.
thanks!
Would you like to share the pixel c boot animation?
I really like the pixel c boot animation but i dont have that device. Would you like to share that?

Hi yall,
I was wondering, did anyone successfully replace the Poco logo on bootup with a different picture? I've tried several different things from severall different threads. I tried flashing them through my custom recovery. I tried flashing it through fastboot. I've tried all the possible snapdragon chipset splash screen file names. So, am I doing something wrong? Is there a tool or working method I can use? Please keep in mind that I have a custom recovery (Orangefox), but I don't have root. I think rooting a device is useless to me personally (no offense to anyone who likes rooting their devices out there). Also, I am not using stock, I am using Pixel Experience Plus as my daily driver. Is it because I am on a custom rom? Any hint or suggestion would help me and probably other people as well. Thank you for taking your time to read this and possibly help both me and other people out with customizing their phones.
Thank you,
mattzilla30
i would like to know as well
i have been looking into this to no avail so far
