Hey All,
I do alot of presentations and show video clips using my phone and a projector. What I do is Cast my Screen. Every once in a while the chromecast disconnects.
So i was wondering if there is an app or a custom script that can check every 5 minutes to see if the phone is connected to a chromecast and casting the whole screen. If it is not connected then it will connect and cast the screen automatically.
So is something like this possible?

I have bought the Samsung Note 3 (2014) edition recently to use for teaching Maths. I also have bought a Samsung All Share cast to use to connect it to the projector. I tried it on my tv at home and it works no problem but when I tried to connect to the school projector I experienced problems.
1. The All Share Cast connects to the projector via HDMI connection and the setup screen comes up on the wall
2. When try to connect using the pin method with my tablet or phone (S5), the pin will show up on the wall and I enter it on my phone and it begins to connect
3. But then as soon as it begins to connect, the screen goes black on the wall and I get an error message on my phone saying "screen mirroring has been disabled"
4. The projector image then goes back to the initial setup screens as explained in point 1.
Can anyone help me please?
It connects perfect to my tv but not to the projector in school.
Has anyone been able to get the Idol 3 to connect to a Roku via WiFi Display?
My phone will see my Roku stick, say it's connecting, and then after a few seconds the device disappears from the list. A few seconds after that the Roku stick reappears. The process continues this loop until I cancel the connection.
My Nexus 4 was able to connect without issues.
I use the Roku app to connect to my Roku 2. Works well.

I, too, can use the app to stream saved music, etc. to my Roku, but I am wanting to use my phone for screen sharing. I.E.; have my home screen displayed on my TV via Roku.

Should be simple, your device should show up on the list of cast screen devices after a while, it doesnt pop up immediately like a chromecast but if you wait a while it should pop up on the list, I dont own an ezcast but I do have a chromecast and a chinese tv box, the chrome cast is detected immiediately while the tv box takes about a minute before it shows up on the list
I am using miracast for quiet some time with my LG tv. Works mostly perfectly, but my issue is the tv of my neighbours. My miracast automatically tries to connect to a tv, if there is only one showing up. because my tv is slower hardware-wise, it does not always appear as fast as the neighbour's, which is why miracast sometimes tries to connect to my neighbour's tv automatically. I don't want this to happen.
My idea is, if it was possible to do either one of those:
1.block my neighbour's tv from showing
or
2.only allow connection to mine
My S7 is rooted and using superman rom
PS: English is not my native language so pls forgive mistakes in my sentences or odd describing.

I'm having the same problem now. I can cast to my neighbor's LG TV and another neighbor's Roku, as well as my own Samsung TV. I have an up-to-date Windows 10 desktop computer.
Why doesn't my phone see my smart TV every time I try to cast it? It sees it about %70 of the time? Any suggestions? I restarted both the phone and the TV.
