Yeah hope it's fixed it's a killer only end of month and the update should fix that and low volume as well but beside that I would say it's the best looking phone on the market does what I need it to

Hope there will be root and recovery method soon like, few optimizations here and there

Mine was draining the battery because google play services was acting up. Do You use Greenify or any similar app? I use Greenify and found that if I hibernate any Google apk play services goes crazy and I get more battery drain.

google services consuming battery

I notice Google services is consuming a large amount of battery. Anyone else notice this? It's used 29% of my battery today so far. I'm sitting at 59% battery right now after 7 hrs.

I came from note 2 as well. That was a known issue with aosp roms. I'd hang tight until we get some more insight on it.

My battery usage isn't accurate at all, it doesn't even show screen or other apps I'm using. Maybe the OTA will fix this, we're on an old build version compared to the international users

Ya I will thanks. I did notice something today though. When I got the phone Tuesday I activated it on a second line to get the discount. The next day I went back and switched it over to my line. After I went back I started getting this pop up saying- something went wrong....I'll try to attatch pic. Doesn't say what it's for or anything. So I went into sync and unchecked a bunch of craps. Haven't seen it again. Been about an hour.
Edit: Still getting pop up....

Same issue here, coming fro the Note 3 I figured I would be disappointed with Battery but not like this. 4 hours off the charger and minimal use and I'm at 60% , Android System using 46% and Google Play Services using 42%. I'm also on Verizon...
I seem to be doing a little better today on battery. I went into app manager and disabled every Verizon app I could. I also unchecked administor box in Google. Haven't had the pop up yet today bout signing into something. So I'm still hoping this phone will hold up. 6hr31m at 73%
Android system is normal.. As you can see I have no play services up. Battery life is meh after using a note 3.. But liveable.

That's interesting. I'm still showing Google services consuming a fair amount of my juice. I think I might factory reset this phone because I don't know what the salesman did when he set it up. That's why I don't usually go into a retail store for new phones, they get there grubby paws all over it.
Go in Google now and uncheck the "ok Google" shortcut. A lot of complaints for 4.4.2 on the Moto X showed improvement by doing this. i did it day one just to be careful since i never use that shortcut. phrase. Just something to try and see if you have improvement. 4.4.2 on the Moto X had a crazy battery drain bug and that helped it.

the "Ok, Google" hotword detection?
I'll disable it as I never use it.. the battery drain is really odd.. I'm getting 10% drain from google play services and 58% from android system..

Android system

So I have flashed three different ROMs and for every ROM I have ran over 1 week. What is weird is that every time I see why my battery is kinda not as good is that I see on all the battery stats android system is taking like 15-20 percent on each charge . Is anyone else experiencing this?

In most of the cases when you see abnormal "Android System" battery drain, it's becouse you are using Google Now and didn't deactivated location hystory and position

Atleast your drain is 15-20% my HTC one has Android system at 84% and this only happened after 4.4.2
I've had the n5 since DEC and I thought it was just cuz I just flashed the ROM and in reality its just every day haa

The HTC Sense phones display battery usage a lot differently from the stock Android phones. They specifically minimize the battery usage of the screen which is almost always your biggest drain.

led light and light manager

After upgrading to 4.4.3 I found I still had no led notification working.
So, I installed light manager. At first it took 120+ mb and started to
drain a battery. For some time the situation changed and it is now at
about 4 mb. At the moment the app just vanished and I had to load
it again.
Does this sound familiar?
Best regards all.

Looking after your advice.
If you don't mind, what makes it better? I would like
it to stay away and keep a battery.
Best regards.

Nice to hear. I cannot say if light manager drains, since
on 4.4.3 battery seems to live shorter.
I assume we are talking about lite blinker version, right?
Best regards.

Mate 9 build L29b185c172 power consumption

I updated my phone yesterday and the log was about system optimization and power consumption, but I noticed that it's consuming more battery now specially in idle state. So anyone else is facing this problem?

I suggest doing a factory reset. Don't forget to backup all your data if you do.

Been getting from 3-5 hours sot depends if I am on data or not though. My battery has been worse overall because of my battery wear.
My battery life improved a little bit but...

Battery life is great. I also wanted to not have to root my phone but I didn't really have no choice because without root it wouldn't go into deep sleep. But with the update it's sleeping like a baby without root. Great job samsung or google. Lol

Try buying Greenify from PlayStore then use ADB to activate Aggressive Doze (Greenify guides you). Should help.
