Bluetooth Keyboard working with Google Pixel and Android O

I just got a Bluetooth keyboard I was trying to use with my Google Pixel and Android O. The device pairs successfully but when I try to type in an app it does nothing. I did test the keyboard with an older tablet and it works fine there. On the Pixel I have tried using it in Messages, Browser and Contacts (just to test). I am wondering if its not being profiled as a HID (Human Interface Device) but in each of the above applications seems to think something is attached and working because it give me the keyboard icon in the lower right hand corner and the option to "show virtual keyboard when physical keyboard is active" or go google voice typing. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
I just got the Logitech K480 bluetooth keyboard and it doesnt work. I am having the exact same issue.
I also have this issue. I have the Pixel XL and got a ZeroLemon BT keyboard. The keyboard works fine with my laptop, but not my Android O-running Pixel XL. I'm quite sure I have all the settings set correctly.
I just purchased the Fintie bluetooth keyboard and case ($30 Amazon) for my wifi Samsung Galaxy Tab A T580 and it works great. Sorry that doesn't help you, but maybe return and get another brand?
I am also having this issue with the Logitech K380 and Android O on the Pixel. Previously, this keyboard worked fine with Nougat on the Pixel.
Bluetooth functionality has been restored as of Android O Developer Preview 4 with my Logitech K380.
I also have this issue, maybe it is Android's issue

Mecool M8S Pro TV Box

I have the Android TV Box mentioned in the subject. See the link below:
https://www.flipkart.com/mbox-mecoo...evice/p/itmewa4r5afxzfwn?pid=SELEWA4RPFZZ8QGN
It is connected to my Yamaha AV-Receiver HTR-3065 via HDMI. But I'm not getting surround sound output from the TV Box! Any help is appreciated! I thought it used to work. In "Direct" Mode on the amp only the front three speakers light up! It's on Nougat (Android 7.1).

[HELP] No sound input after connecting webcam to Android TV

I want to use my Android TV box for video call apps such as Viber or Skype. I have successfully connected my BC&IT A2 webcam to the Android TV box named AmiBox X96 MAX S905X using USB 2.0 port. Video input works well, but unfortunately audio input doesn't works.
The webcam works as expected when connected to the PC.
Did you ever found a way to make this work?
Googling for a while and still could not find a way to make this work for me
I could use UVC webcam with Google Duo on MIBOX(Android TV 9) several weeks ago, but it nolonger work after a system update.

Android Auto says to Head Unit Bluetooth "This device does not support the Auto Launch feature"

Hi All,
I am a layman in Android Development or coding. Recently I upgraded the Android Stereo in my car that is sold in India in the name of Woodman ( Its the same config of Joying UIS 7862 4GB RAM/64 GB ROM with Android 10).
I am using Samsung S21 with Exynos processor in India that has Wireless AA support.
Head unit on paper says "Wireless + Wired Apple car play support but only wired for Android Auto".
The stereo has an app called Car Link that has to be opened on head unit screen to work while to connect your phone using USB Cable. It works with USB as mentioned. But I am looking to get the wireless support as well.
Is there a way I can tweak the bluetooth or something in head unit and get wireless AA working?
I did my R&D to get it work but failed. in AA setting I found that under Autolaunch settting it particularly says that head unit bluetooth in does not support auto launch (See the screenshot attached).
Thanks
Deepak

Question How do I stop controlling TV and Pixel 6a simultaneously

Couldn't figure out best title for this thread since not easy to explain in a few words.
Have my new Pixel 6a and Series-A earbuds working together great. Only one problem. When I ask Google assistant to pause what I'm listening to on my 6a, our TV is also paused. Somehow the earbuds / Google Assistant is connected to both the 6a and our Sony Bravia A80CJ TV. I've looked on the TV and the 6a to try to find where the devices are connected so I can unlink them but cannot find anything that shows the link. The TV uses a Bluetooth connection to the remote so I can't just turn off Bluetooth on the TV. I look on the 6a under Settings / Connected Devices / See All and the only thing that shows up are the earbuds.
Any suggestions where to look or how to disconnect the two devices? Thanks for any advice.

My question is how did you do this? I want it.
How did I do it? Wish I knew.. I was listening to something on my new earbuds and asked Google Assistant to pause. I heard my wife, who was in the next room listening to TV, say "Who paused the tv!!!" Obviously, I've got to get this figured out.
It's probably the Google Assistant that pauses the TV. How does it manage to do it, I don't know.
I've had go 'rounds with Alexa taking liberties with my TV...but that'd be a wifi thing...not sure how google assistant does it's thing. Can't be screwin' with the wife's TV tho...that doesn't end well.
