Hi folks,
I´m not quit sure if it is an Android problem or a problem with my box.
When I switch off the TV when the box is connected via HMDI the box goes "off" (switching off sound for example) is there a way or setting to keep it on? So I can switch off TV and keep spotify for example on?
Yes!

Yes! I use my Chromecast in this way. What you need is an HDMI pass through device, like a stereo tuner. I have both a Chromecast and Roku dongle plugged into the HDMI ports on my tuner (it has a total of 4 hdmi ports) . A single HDMI cable then runs from the tuner to the TV. The sound comes out of my stereo speakers, not the tv, and I use the stereo's remote control to switch inputs (the TV itself is never changed from its HDMI1 input). This allows me to listen to the audio without having the TV turned on. Tuners with HDMI pass through can be expensive, but I got lucky and found one, virtually brand new with 4 HDMI inputs, at my local Good Will for $65. And if you're into cord cutting, check out my website at cablegobyebye.com

I found a solution which might work. You need to "block" pin 19 from HDMI which reports powersaving / energy modes. I just need to try it at home

Hey guys,
I'm looking for some Android TV Box which will work with my external USB DAC (Objective DAC). Currently I have Mini M8S but I can't get any sound off USB port, so looking for new TV box. I also tried installing OpenELEC but without any luck.
So...you have any recommendations which box will surely work with my DAC?
Nobody has any idea?
I have an old Sanyo TV with 3 HDMI ports. When I installed the Firestick, it worked perfectly, except for the Audio. The instructions say to use Audio 3, but when I switch the audio input cables to Audio 3, the cable tv show that is on sounds through my TV, but I can't hear sound from the videos from Netflix or Hulu. Any ideas on how to fix it? Thanks!
Hi !
It may be a Netflix issue , the app isn`t properly working on certain devices
Here is a dedicated section for Fire TV devices

Good luck !
USB Audio Pro says 'USB Audio device initialised' but App USB Host check says can't find USB Host??
Went on one plus chat just before buying op6 but wouldn't commit to saying if it had or had not got USB Host! Have OP3T which works OK with my Audioquest Black DAC.
Have connected the DAC to op6 and it plays thru USB audio Pro, but it doesn't sound great. Streaming Tidal & Spotify directly produces heavy glitching esp at start of tracks, and again doesn't sound great. . No glitching thru headphone socket. Have been in touch with Audioquest and they seem to think one plus android version of op6 is switching USB off
So wondering if USB Host is supported, or what others experience has been ?
Any update? Did you managed to fix the issue? I am planning to get Audioquest
