I have an old Sanyo TV with 3 HDMI ports. When I installed the Firestick, it worked perfectly, except for the Audio. The instructions say to use Audio 3, but when I switch the audio input cables to Audio 3, the cable tv show that is on sounds through my TV, but I can't hear sound from the videos from Netflix or Hulu. Any ideas on how to fix it? Thanks!
Hi !
It may be a Netflix issue , the app isn`t properly working on certain devices
Here is a dedicated section for Fire TV devices

Good luck !

I'm connecting the tablet to my receiver (Denon AVR-1713) using the same cable that I checked with phone (Evo 4G, the only other device I have with HDMI output working) as perfectly working (A/V both play smoothly).
On the tablet, audio stutters (pretty severely) while video plays fine. I tried a few ROMs (KA, CM10.1, and Energy), and all ended up with the same issue. I also have a couple locked TF300Ts lying around, and both stock ICS and JB had the same audio stuttering.
Looking for differences between the phone and the tablet when playing audio, it appears that the PCM/Digital light flickers when playing via tablet (with audio coming through only when the light is on), and when the phone plays, the light stays constantly on.
I tried switching input source on the receiver to PCM (was on auto), still stutters. Switching to DTS results in no sound.
This happens for all audio (calls, notification sounds, music, youtube, etc.).
Any ideas on what's wrong? Using my brother's monitor with speakers, both audio and video play smoothly.
Bump. Anyone?
Bump.
Tried CleanROM yet? It may help.
Can you show us a video of it? That might help some people to understand your problem. I'm using cm10.1 and previously used energy rom and movie seems to be fine.

Nevermind, bought a microHDMI to HDMI cable on ebay, audio works fine now. The refresh rate of the HDMI output is off though (displaying dual overlaying images), but audio plays perfectly.
Weird, because the EVO doesn't have any of the problems this tablet has.
Well, figured out the problem for that as well, apparent this happens when the TV can't display that high of a resolution . Insufficient funds, and still stuck in the dark ages (of TV) :crying:.
I'm curious to find out if it's possible to stream audio from my (networked) Sony Bravia KDL-32W650A to my M8. I'd like to be able to sync the audio so I can use headphones with the phone, so I don't disturb my wife and daughter while watching late at night. Using a direct headphone connection is out of the question, as I have a rather large K9 that likes to roam and trip over any wires running across the floor. Since I already have TV SideView and Smart Remote on my handset to control the TV, it would be nice to be able to stream the audio back to it.
Any suggestions?
On edit: It appears that this should be possible (mirroring) via Miracast, but appears that it may be broken in Sense 6.

What I know, you can send audio and video from android devices to TV, but not from TV to devices.

I'm aware of that, but I want to stream in the other direction (just audio). I know Koush was/is working on integrating this into his AllCast app, but I think it only works with FireTV.
I have the Android TV Box mentioned in the subject. See the link below:

It is connected to my Yamaha AV-Receiver HTR-3065 via HDMI. But I'm not getting surround sound output from the TV Box! Any help is appreciated! I thought it used to work. In "Direct" Mode on the amp only the front three speakers light up! It's on Nougat (Android 7.1).

Yesterday i receive a new T2 tv tuner.
Carefully complete the installation and I finally connect the av cables on av in and audio in ports of my unit.
I use the avin.app as preinstall application but there is a huge ! In my screen. When i switch cable from video in to f-cam in i open the f-cam and tv tuner works fine but without sound.
Is there any app which can recognise the av in port? Or something else i can do?
Have a couple of year old Vizio TV 'P602ui-B3' that will not produce sound through ARC (have tried 2 differene Vizio soundbars (VHT215 and SB46312-f6) . The TV's CEC registers the soundbar connected just fine, but produces no sound through ARC. HOWEVER sound works fairly well through Optical connection except that that one intermittently varies the sound level by itself, annoying. Vizio Support wants me to get another soundbar. Seems to be a TV issue, buut how?
Confused...

SOLVED!
Had a similar problem where my TV (P602ui-B3) showed soundbar connected on HDMI-5 (ARC port), but no sound. Turns out the ARC port is MISLABELED and the sound plays beautifully through the TV's HDMI-1 port!!
