Ive got a bad news...... Nd i need help..... ASAP..
Actually long story short- I Bricked my gt i9003 (Galaxy sL) :'(
Long story- This new rom came out recently called Omnirom 14.1 for the gt-i9003
And so i got pretty excited nd tried to install it....
Previously i was on cm 10.1 nd cwm (cant remember the version)
So after i installed it the usual way, As i thought it didnt work..... It got stuck at the logo...
So when i tried to get into recovery The recovery changed from cwm to twrp(maybe bcoz of the rom i guess)
From this twrp i tried to flash another rom called Nameless rom (the lollipop version one)
Then after i booted the phone, the phone didnt even give me the ROm's logo this time.....
So then i tried to install cwm from twrp so that i can recover from the backup which i made before...
ND guess wut.... Instead the phone now completely does'nt go into NORMAL BOOT MODE, RECOVERY MODE...... but DOWNLOAD MODE is still available.....
Whenever i try to go into recovery or boot mode it shows a PHONE-EXCLAMATION-COMPUTER symbol (I'll post the pics below).....
I searched for the treatment for it Nd found out that it was just soft bricked nd I just needed to flash a custom rom.....When i tried that with the download mode nd ODIN it was'nt successful....
Instead in odin it shows (SUCCESSFUL 0/FAILED 1)...
I tried everything from flashing the KPE and to flashing the custom rom, but i do'nt seem to find any progress...
Nd one more important thing...... When i connect my phone to pc with usb, It normally shows both internal storage nd sd card storages...... But now it shows sd card nd instead of int. storage it shows some folder called Cache...... wtf is that?? did i damage my internal storage??:crying::crying:
Im in DIRE NEED OF HELP so plssss....... plss REPLY if u know ANYTHING abt this situation....
I appreciate aNY kind of help....
I hope that someone will come to rescue me........Nd the one will be my HERO!:angel:

im new to dese stuff i wanted to update to chocobread i installed cwm but when i installed it it got struck in galaxy fit screen and when i connect it to the computer it says usb not recognised can sm1 help me out ?
can u be more specific about the problem.. how u installed cwm...??

i mean at 1st it ws installing den an error message came usb unable to recognise and den nor recovery modes working nor hard reset download is workin but usb error appears :/ i installed cwm ( i hav flashed it many times) error den unable to go to recovery nor hard reset
Try this install.. Kies in your pc and restart your pc.. Then open odin and connect ur phone via usb cable.. If its working the odin spftware will show that device added.. Download necessary correct files in fit forum and then flash it...
If its not working try to go to download mode and flash a full package.. If your phone wont go to download mode also then u might bricked your phone.. The onlt way to get it working is service center

Dude.....do full wipe before installing a from and after that wipe data and cache partition

hi fnds. sorry for d long story below. & thanks for reading.
mine is micromax a110 phone. i've flashed four roms in it one after d other. all worked well with little bugs. last but one i've flashed miui v5 & later i've flashed galaxy ultimate v2 rom. this gave me look like galaxy s4. & about phone in my phone settiongs shown me as gt-i9500. it worked nice but when i switch it off & tried to switch on first it shown me miui with complete orange screen & later samsung logo & swaitches on & worked as gt-i9500 nicely.
now d problem is unknowingly i have flashed Skin1980-GT-S5360 CWM by using recovery mode to increase my internal memory. that's it.
from then it is showing
E: Can't mount/cache/recovery/command
E: Can't mount/cache/recovery/log
E: Can't open/cache/recovery/
E: Can't mount/cache/recovery/last_log
E: Can't open/cache/recovery/last_log
from then my phone is not even switching on, instead simply it is strucking on """MIUI VICTORY Redefining Android""" with pink background.
& i'm unable to get into download mode. actually i had never into download mode before. in d previous threads some process is there for my problem but for that my phone has to be in download mode.
the only hope i've now is my cwm is working very nicely & i am able to go into recovery mode.
so pls help me in this issue. from two days my situation is like this.

Go to THIS THREAD and follow the second procedure to get ur phone back to life.
And from next time pls make a backup via clockwork recovery so that u can restore it in case of Any trouble.

hi fnds i have just stucked with the logo only. only able to go to recovery mode. i've followed the above said procedure. first time all gone. even unable to go to recovery mode. no led lighting while charging. so i worried a lot becoz my phone is completely bricked now..... then iI've followed the same procedure second time now i got my phone back. . THANKS A LOT BROTHER FOR THE ABOVE ADVICE...

usb debugging is not showning in pc
hi brother thanks for the advice. now i've custom rom as a new phone. but the problem is even i've enabled usb debugging in my phone & after connecting it to pc it is not finding my device completely. it is showing put ur device in usb debugging mode.
just i wanted to root my phone for that my phone should be connected to pc to root it by using unroot pro or one click method. or even to flash it by using root with bin4ry....
so pls help me in this issue.

Hi, I have a Kross GY-601 Tablet... One of the cheap chinese tablet you can pickup at factorydirect (Canada)
I seem to have bricked it when attempting to port Clockwork Mod Recovery to it. It does not show anything on screen or do anything, When I connect it to my computer.. It shows up as M6-CHIP in Device Manager as shown in my image.
The internal storage is completly gone as a result of my failed attempt to un-brick it..
It would be a great help if someone helped me fix this..

You probably don't have proper drivers, use PDANet ones, they work even with obscure tablets.
You tried to port CWM or flash?
It's not bricked since your computer detects it
Last thing, do you have a backup recovery image or another recovery image that works so you can get it back up?

I was dumb enough not to do any recovery image backups..
Also.. I ported cwm then flashed it with dd just poped the .img into the recovery block.. but since I didn't compile it properly when I adb reboot recovery.. It got into a boot loop.. so I tried to fix it but broke it even more... So then I tried re-writing the firmware for generic 4.1.2 chinese tablet.. but that messed it up to the point were it only shows as M6-CHIP.. i can only turn on and off.. nothing else.. no boot no screen light up nothing..

Even i am having the same device on its stock rom and kernel so i guess i can help you i was into rooting and upgrading it but didnt do it as i was waiting for a backup device so if i brick it i dont have to wait to buy a device but i am stupid and dont know how to take a backup of the stock rom. If you will help me know how to do that i can help you in return by uploading the stock rom and sharing the link.:highfive:
SO! yesterday i installed a custom rom on my GT-I5500 but it turned out it wasnt working so i was stuck in the boot screen
i wanted to repear it by installing the old rom wich was the CM12 ported rom (wich worked fine before) but i couldnt get to the recovery mode... the only was possible was trough odin... so i ve brought out my old files (odin,CWM,CM12...) but when i booted into recovery mode the device wasnt recognized by my pc... ive tried some bunch of drivers but none of them worked ! PLEASE HELP ME GET THE DRIVERS WORKING ! (also i noticed that the device show on Odin3 v3.07 when i boot it normaly but unfortunatly i cant do anything else) i just want to get into the recovery mode that would be enough

HELP!! im new to this forum so didnt know where to ask question.
i have Huawei Mediapad T1-701ua Android Kitkat , i have rooted it with kingroot, i installed ChainFire 3D without knowing much and it caused a bootloop and the device is not booting. i wen into recovery mode(i onlt have stock recovery) and did a factory reset but still the device is not booting please help!!! also my usb debugging mode is turned off

Okay I'm just going to leave it here incase someone messed up like me. Firstly never turn off USB debugging mode or you'll be stuck. But you don't need to throw away your device. If you get stuck on bootloop after installing chsinfire 3d and can't do anything do this:-
Search on your device's customer service website for your firmware update. Chose the latest version and download it.
Unzip the file and copy the "dload" folder into an empty SD card.
Put the SD card in the device,and go to recovery mode(I only had stock recovery)
Select update from SD card and make sure your device is charged.
You'll lose everything, but hey! At least you got your device back.
