Physical battery mod for GS7?

Hey guys, I'm considering buying a GS7 as the S8 hasn't really wowed me and is also about double the price.
Just wondering if there are any well known and/or easy-DIY physical battery modifications out there? I'm talking about this kind of thing, but for the S7, not S6. 4000 mAh would be even better if possible.
Battery cases are too bulky and heavy for my liking, unless there was some slim one with say 500-1500 mAh that only increased weight by 30-50g and size by a couple mm each way.

I'm galaxy s7 user, 3000mAh battery is enough for s7, it gives me 5 to 6 hours of sot, basically, you can use it whole day on single charge with average use. Battery modification is not recommended coz u ll lose water resistant, and may be wireless charging. it can charge upto 50% in 30 mins, which is way better than modifying hardware.

I don't know if it's just me as a user, my SIM/carrier, the devices I buy, or something else, but I rarely get the same SoT as other people. I've had the HTC 10 which most people claim 4-5 hours SoT on, and I only got 2.5-3.5. I have the Xiaomi Mi5 which most people claim 5-6 hours on, but I only get 4-5. Similar experiences with tablets and laptops too.
Most days I only use my phones for 1 hour but am down to 50% after 16 hours off the charger. If I go out that night, it's pretty common for my phone to drop another 20-30% depending on signal strength in bars. This simply isn't good enough for me, and sure I can just charge the phone for a bit, but sometimes I won't know that the battery has dropped so much and won't be near a charger.
I'd be happy to risk losing the water resistance for a bigger battery.

I don't think you'll face issue. I had s5 it had horrible battery time, then s6 it gave me 2.5 hour sot, and this s7 is giving 4 to 5 hours with always on display enabled.

What about standby time though? Is that 4-5 hours SoT over a 16-24 hour day?

Screen on time

It's amazing how much we actually use our phones in a given day, especially when we watch "videos"! Rate this thread to express how many hours of screen-on time you can get on the Lenovo Phab 2 Plus before depleting the battery.
Then, drop a comment if you have anything to add!

Poor if you're using it as a phone (4G turned on all the time).
Excellent if using wifi (like a tablet).
Outstanding if offline...f* offline.
Still how come the P1 and P2 5.5 inch have 5000ma and this 6.4 beast only 4000ma

Heat

Some phones are great to take camping because if you play Asphalt 8 long enough, the back warms up to the ideal temperature that can bake bread. Rate this thread to express the extent to which the Honor 7X stays cool under extended heavy use. A higher rating indicates that even when playing strenuous games for long periods of time, the phone doesn't get uncomfortably warm.

Mine heats up

Heats up a little but not bad at all. Never so much it's uncomfortable to hold.

A Little Advice..
If you do indeed have heat while charging with the OEM charger or light gaming.. and you are still within your 15 return / replace policy ( at least that's what it is when you purchase from the Honor U.S.A. website ) you need to swap out your unit or get your refund.
Heat is ALWAYS an early precursor to a shorter than normal lifespan.
If you are ok with this, or plan to sell the 7X in lieu of something else later this year.. then it's not that big of a deal.
For those that plan to make this a 1 to 2 year device.. and you can still return / exchange it.. I would advise that you do so.

All phones heat up these days. Especially during charge or heavy use. All said honor 7x don't heat up much.

from lg g flex 2 who was famous for heating i passed to honor 7x and i cant notice any heat at al even when i charge and use. i love this phone

Pixel 3 Battery Life?

Hello,
How is the battery life on Pixel 3 (non XL)? Does it last a whole day with normal usage? What is the average Screen On Time?
Getting a P3 for 500$ from Google Store but have serious reservations about battery life after reading reviews? Is it worth getting?

I just got mine 2 months ago. I have about 300 apps installed. Most have been opened and therefore running stuff in background. I can Easily go all day without a charge. Some evenings I'm only at 50% before bed. I consider myself a medium user (not streaming a lot of video, etc). It was a much better experience than my early Pixel XL. Hope this helps.

I don't know if you're going to get the answer you're looking for because "normal usage", screen on time, apps installed, types of apps, network coverage, etc all vary widely from person to person. What works great for me might not at all for you.

If I have a normal use day I have about 5 to 6 hours of SoT. I've gotten 7+, it's about what my S10e got,.
However I am a heavy user, constantly rebooting and testing new modules and on Q beta so I can get anywhere from 2 to 4 but that is because I am HARDCORE draining the phone.

Shouldn't screen on time be a parameter to gauge that with ?

I'm averaging about 2-4 hours per day of screen time per Digital Wellbeing.

That is not too great and does not give me much confidence. I have heard battery life on 3A is stellar. I had the Pixel 1XL and Nexus 6Pand after a few months, Battery life went bad on both those phones. Hence, someone apprehensive, considering all the negative I have heard about Pixel 3 battery right off the bat.

If the several months down the line degredation theory is accurate for pixels, then the 3a having stellar battery life may also be smoke and mirrors.
I had a 3a and sold it for a 3. Got $100 bb gift card when I bought it, sold it for $350. So I made $50 in that and bought my pixel 3 for $400. I think it's worth it for the extra $50 to have the better processor, water rating and wireless charging.
My battery life has been...ok with my 3. Absolutely nothing to write home about but certainly not the worst I've ever seen. Drain is a bit higher than I like to see, idle and active (1.5 and 13 respective, according to exkm). My screen in time per cycle is between 5-6 hours generally but that is a misleading number for to different setups and signal strength.
I say if you dig the device, get it. If you hate it, hell that's what swappa is for. I have bought and sold so many devices on there because they didn't meet my standards it because something else caught my eye.
I will be keeping this device for awhile. I really like the size and features. I'm sure I could boost battery by nurfing features but I am not interested in doing that. This has been excessively long so... Let us know what you decide. Hope my diatribe helped a little. If not... It was free, so don't complain

My Pixel 3 barely makes a day on a charge. Meanwhile, I use my old Moto X4 to stream music to my work headset, and it can do that for a whole day and still be at 60-70% battery by the end. I tried that with my Pixel, and I ended up having to use extreme battery saver mode by the end of the day.

My battery has been much better since I turned off mobile network always active in developer settings. Keeps idle drain will below 1% now. I couldn't figure it for the life of me why it was so high. Try it!
