I have flashed Paranoid Android 7.2.1 on my OnePlus One and I'm enjoying the build very much.
But flashing PA seems to have broken the proximity sensor. When a call comes in, the screen doesn't turn off.
I ran some diagnostic utilities and non of them discovers the proximity sensor.
I have been searching through the internet for a solution but failed to find a working fix.
Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.

It's a known issue, it has been reported to the developers. Hopefully it will be fixed in the next release.

Solution for what, proximity sensor? Or,having issues flashing PA? As for proximity sensor,it works fine with that firmware by MrSHME.If it is with PA,which build you've downloaded?

I am also facing proximity sensor issue while in call. I see only one build 20th july. Is there any other build released too?

Yes but that was pulled off due to bugs.Did you flashed the firmware by MrSHME? If yes,can you post a screenshot of about phone?

Clean flash the ROM again and then flash the firmware.

Yes,everything. Don't know,PA team found f2fs unstable and placebo though,I think f2fs work fine on their OP3/3T build of PA.
I tried to use Paranoid Android but face following issues. Pls let me know if you ppl have some suggestions...
1. Phone suddenly drops to 0% and becomes dead
2. Phone heats up (really hot) while put on charge..
So I had to go back to Lineage where my device is quite stable. But I personally liked Paranoid. Pls reply back if you have some suggestions

I don't think the S4 has an engine to take off like an ufo. :angel:
The guy also wants to sell the phone.
But the build and the baseband of the rom are belonging to s4 gt-i9500 there is something strange he might have a root and edited the build.prop that's the only explanation

No, it's real.
I just received mine from Samsungs German repair/warrenty partner.
It has the same rom.
It is the official update they have to install as standard on each repaired dbt phone
....and mine is a I9505 as well

are you planning on rooting? if yes, please make a backup of the rom with a custom recovery and upload it.
Then if this is true no one can flash a recovery, make a backup/dump of the ROM and upload here?
I do not intend to root mine, but I suppose it is just a question of days until the first recovery will turn up.
They repair several hundreds of S4s per week and started the updates to 5.0.1 middle of this week.

Think you should do a clean install.
Download Rom, banks gapps 5.1 and latest firmware.
+ reboot recovery
+ wipe system, data, dalvik and cache
+ flash firmware
+ wipe all again
+ flash Rom
+ flash gapps
I've used latest twrp recovery and hadn't any problem
trying to flash the vm12 but I get a error at the beginning of the flashing??? What mi missing? coming from Cm12s

First, thanks for a great rom!! After flashing latest 5/23 version I am very un-happy with the new version of "gallery apk". I was about to just pull the older version out of the 4/23 rom and put it in this version.......but, while researching have found that system apps are handled very differently in LP than KK. Also, after much reading/searching have not found a good guide for doing this. Can someone that knows, provide a step by step for this procedure please. Also sorry this is kinda-sorta OT.

I have same problems with the onscreen navigation buttons
And by the look of it this ROM is dead in the water
Not dead by what I can tell its just running good minus a few bugs, so there is nothing to talk about,
I have the navbar fix so a update will be out soon.

Appreciate your work ,I like your ROM ,I like to point out that the Google Now "OK Google" feature from any screen will not detect any audio when trying to training the app. Can u look in to it as is a feature I do really use a lot I'm sure as many others ,thanx

i got a problem with my OnePlus One. i flashed MM Slim ROM as secondary ROM with Multi ROM TWRP recovery. everything works fine except one thing: when i make a phone call or someone calls me the screen turns black and its not possible to wake it up not even with the power button. after the call i press the power button twice and the phone works as usual again.
what happens with my primary ROM (SlimKat) when i update to the latest FW? does it still work?
has anybody the same problem or any solution?

Great! So do you use a KitKat rom? I am thinking of switching to KK due to great Sot's.Can you confirm that Kitkat has more great battery life than MM/LP/N,as you use both of em'?

i just flashed TugaPower MM for testing and there i don't have the black screen problem. so maybe it's a SlimROM bug?

I had the same problem only my screen was totally black... Everything worked in the background but the screen remained black. Idk what fixed it. But I totally drained the battery till it won't even vibrate on pressing power button and then charged and i also flashed 'persist'...now its been 2 months without any black screen.

Also,I just downloaded the cm11s(fastboot) and some users have been saying that to prevent internal lose don't use fastboot flash userdata userdata_64gb.img command.
But I doubt if without flashing that KK would actually boot.
So can you show some light on it?

i have no experience with flashing ROMs from fastboot or editing zip files. i flashed SlimKat from TWRP recovery. so just try

I have installed it , you can get it from the gavin extra folder of AICP or RR.
I´ll upload a new rom , RadiumOS . Its like PixelExperience , has gapps included too ^^. It´ll be available like in 1 hour or so. Stay tuned!!!

BUG:
The screen remains dark (with no UI/icons) when receiving a call with the screen off.
This is probably a bug with the dialer app, as installing another dialer (like Drupe) solves the problem.
I cant receive call during screen off black screen

Easy fix...just install google phone app from play store..and make it default!! Disable the old one!!

I don't tested external memory since I use dualsim and 64GB is enough for me.

Do cameras work? How do you tranfer files if usb doesn't work?
Can u make an antutu benchmark test , to compare the score with the stock Rom please ?
Do you need to be on stock rom, I tried this before but fail to boot, maybe because I was using Elemental rom ?

Yes, cameras work. I am transferring files mainly via USB OTG plug and pendrive or to my home samba server.

Was it a clean installation of oreo? I mean did u make a factory reset after the update? Cuz i upgraded from nougat to oreo without deleting anything, and i heard that may cause some bad experiences, idk
