Rooted I9001XXKF8 Rom, flashed without problem
My phone was fast and it is still fast I did not test games, 2.3.3 has some battery draining bugs.. Fixed in 2.3.4
I am no more angry about this phone .. Web browsing and application's are so fast compared to my old optimus black.. I can wait a little for games

To write in other languages, you may download keyboard form market to support your writing languages including CHINESE, and almost most of the languages. Example, better keyboard, go keyboard, or any others from market.

Turn off mobile data for second sim(or primary if you are using data on secondary) to avoid data toggle bug on reboot. If you are using only one sim data toggle bug won't occur at all. Still trying to fix it completely with 2 sims

Battery backup is almost same in every android N
OnScreen time is bit bad

Definitely not a daily driver currently

OK, we will wait for future updates(If there is) (sorry for my bad english).

I've used this for like 2-3 hours.
Disabled the on screen nav bar and using with pixel launcher
Pros:
1) Very much smooth almost 300-400MB ram remains empty depending on how many apps running in the background
2) Omni Switch works just great making navigation and switching among apps absolutely flawless and
3) DSP manager for Music got different sound modes, equalizer configured at different intensities which works surprisingly good so if you are music enthusiast you will love this feature
And clock from Omni has new design which looks good.
Cons:
1) Main camera video recording is shaky
2) No traffic indicator for Internet up/down speed
3) No capacitive (hard keys) button mapping for multiple functions (but Omni switch makes the navigation so good you won't feel need of capacitive button)
It's too soon to comment on battery backup, seems okay now....
Conclusion :
You will definitely like the Omni switch, DSP manager(equilizer) for Music and design, cons are very minor with compare to pros:good:

The best CM14.1 yet.

AOKP stands for Android Open Kang Project. It is a custom ROM distribution for several high-end Android devices. The name is a play on the word kang and AOSP (Android Open Source Project). The name was sort of a joke, but it just stuck, just like our infatuation with unicorns.

There are two roms with the same title and they both put by the same developer.
Unless they're different, one of the threads must be deleted.

This one is build by Juanan and the other one was build by a Chinese dev named as Wang...
This one is more smoother and is very stable.... compared....to the other one...

com.android.phone Has Stopped
Getting this error with the fresh install of this ROM.
Tried almost every solution from XDA to StackOverflow. still no luck.
Also tried the factory reset and reinstall with and without Gapps.
I also tried [ROM] LineageOS 14.1 by 王浩哲 For Redmi 5 (rosy) but same issue happened with it as well

AOSP GSI for A51 (A515FXXU3BTF4 - 19-08-2020)

Hey guys,
Couldn't find a working AOSP GSI for our A51 (A515F) on the latest A515FXXU3BTF4 firmware so I decided to build one myself using the latest Phh AOSP gsi (AOSP 10.0 v222)
This will only work on devices running the A515FXXU3BTF4 firmware.
Unlock your bootloader, select the A515FXXU3BTF4-AOSP-GAPPS-19082020.tar file under the AP tab in Odin 3, flash the .tar file, reboot to recovery, wipe cache/data and reboot.
Your phone will boot and you will have AOSP with August 2020 security update.

gcam still not support. i install gcam and open it. gcam has stop working
for battery life... same like stock rom

i install magisk. my phone is boot loop...... idk I saw this ROM. This ROM has been rooted so I installed Magisk, maybe the old root and Magisk collided ... and the result is bootloop

Hey @Aerys could you please tell me if you used A only or A/B build for this? Afaik, A51 is A only but since it's SAR, A/B GSIs must be used. Am I wrong?

How to get rid of it.
I installed this only to check if fingerprint is working... of course is not working. Also option "Allow to takeover this phone by phh" is very disturbing and dangerous. So I decided to flash back stock firmware via Odin. It survived it. Now I stuck with this rom and have additional Russian **** installed as system app: mail.ru, zen news and some Russian app in cyrylica. Great! This rom is very untrustable.
How I can get rid of this?

Unlock your bootloader bro. Go to Developer option and check "Unlock Bootloader"
