Hello, just recently bought the s8 plus and just today the lock screen on my S8 plus won't stop flickering on and off. I turn off the phone with the power button but shortly 1 second after the screen turns back on and the continues to flicker on and off constantly, also when I have my AODs on it won't load the AODs screen it just jumps back to the lock screen and flickers. If this helps my S8 plus fell in my sink with a little water inside I cleaned the phone thoroughly with a small cloth to get any water out.

Hi all,
I had broken my phone's back cover and bent the middle frame too. So I bought a live demo version of S6 to use it as a donor. I swapped the mainboards over and only can here the noise it turns on and buttons light up, notification light come up but the screen stays black. So I swapped the mainboards back and with the demo mainboard the screen comes on as it should. Even I tried a third mainboard from a working phone the screen remains blank with that too.
Not even the charging logo would come on with different mainboard!
So I don't know what I could do with it!!!!

Hi. I dropped my Galaxy S7 Edge and now the screen won't stop flickering, but let me go into more detail about that. My screen is fine with no problems in Always-On-Display. When I restart my phone, it flickers a lot but when it gets to the carrier (Verizon) boot up animation, it's fine. After that, my phone won't stop flickering. The only way to stop flickering is to set my phone's brightness to the highest and even then, the screen does some weird animations. It kind of looks like the screen is getting projected.
Is there any way to get this fixed?

I have a problem. Yesterday i replaced the battery and the back and multitask button on my galaxy s6. I now have a problem. I had to remove the screen from the bezel. When i did this i saw a metal like film on both the bezel and the screen. After i saw this and replaced the other parts i put the phone back together. Everything worked exept for the screen.
The screen is acting quite weird. When its on high brightness everything is fine and the screen works without any problems. But when the screen is turned off or the brightness goes down the screen flashes white.
I was wondering if there was an easy way to fix this without having to completely replace the screen. If i need to replace the whole screen i will just get a new phone.

Hi people, a dear friend of mine gave me his galaxy s7 still under warranty but with broken LCD, glass and probably touch panel. The screen was first cracked, then after a second hit a black sport started to expand until the whole screen was blackened.
He told me to back his data up, in order to put them in his new s7 edge.
Well, whatever I do the phone seems dead. No led when in charge, no vibration if I try to turn it on, no vibration when pressing the reset combination, no download mode, no recovery mode.
The phone is all stock with an untripped Knox.
I opened the back cover and the only connector that was loose was the front camera. Should I disassemble it and investigate further?
Is there any freakin way to turn it on at least in recovery or download mode? Is it possible that the screen is so messed up that the phone goes in some kind of protection mode?
My Notification bar is always dropping down (sometimes intermittently) when I am using the Samsung Galaxy S8 plus without me having to pull it down or receiving notifications. Very often the Top side of the screen activat app on it own without touching the screen It is becoming quite annoying because every few seconds I have to drag it back up so that I am able to use the phone I don't any screen protecter on the phone. I bought this phone not more than a 2 Month now. the problem on this phone is really killing me. I have used Samsung Galaxy and Note phones all my life and the problems on this new phone is making me have a different thought about Samsung Products. I am attaching a picture which I took on the line of my screen, there are breaks on the Top of the screen. can somebody help me with a Solution. is it hardware or software problem..
