Hello,
i have Skoda Rapid 2017, and i just buy Joying headunit (JY-VM130N2), with harness for skoda\vw 2016 2017.
when i plug the harness the backlight button of headunit turn on, and after min shutdown. when i start the car the headunit not turning on.
for testing i short acc with 12V and connect the headunit to power supply. the headunit turn on and seem to be ok.
i understand that the canbus adapter not supported by the car, there is something i can do to fix the problem??
i so that with the code 3368 i can change protocol for canbus adapter, there any chance this work?
thanks.
Make sure that 12V and ACC are not swapped in harness. I had once a harness where 12V and ACC were swapped in the ISO connector.
i test the harness with Circuit tester, when i turn on the car the canbus adapter not send signal to the headunit to turn on (no 12v on red wire).
i cut the red wire from the iso connector to canbus adapter, and connect it to the fusebox ( iso connector red > unused fuse socket that power after acc ).
now the headunit turn on, but i have problem with canbus notification and steering wheel remote control.
there is any solution to work with this canbus adapter? ( frimware update or something? )

12V and ACC come directly from the car harness and CANBUS Box does not switch them ON/OFF, those voltages have to be present with or without CANBUS Box.
12V: YELLOW Wire, 12V Always present
ACC: RED Wire, 12V present only when car ignition is ON
Check the ISO connector to have the 12V and ACC wires in the right connector position:

Is it possible to do? I use my fuze alot in the car as gps and internet radio streaming and was using the headphone adapter up until the charging port started shorting out. now i switched to my tv out cable (OEM cable) which also cleaned up the look coming off the phone but doesnt allow the audio booster to be enabled. Is there a way to do it or do i need to use the headphone adapter..
Hi guys,
Is it possible to have audio over usb on Infuse 4G?
The HDMI adapter works halfway (it needs external power).
My goal is to connect my phone to my stereo and charge it with single usb cable.
I am iPhone user and I have a single cable for charging and audio for it.
I don't have bluetooth on my stereo, so my only option is AUX.
Please, advise!

try xcaliburinhand's and ytt3r's dock sound redirector. the home dock does this and so does the car dock but only with the respective desk home and car home app or dock sound redirector from the market. you may need to simulate the dock with a resistor between 2 pins. i have to look up which ones and the resistor value needed.
I have my sensation in my car with a modified dock and its working great but I have a Pioneer LCD in my car and would love to output my sensation to the screen - So, my question - Is there a dock that will give me power and HDMI at the same time?
If I connect the MHL connector to the back of the dock, I get power but it will not output HDMI - it may be as easy as modifying the connector - but I dont have the information needed to know what needs to be done...
Any ideas?
The connector from the car dock is probably not fully wired (eg not all 5pins connected)
Inside the cardock there is a resitor connected to the phone's ID-pin, this pin should be wired to the usb output instead of the resistor.
Even if you manage to mod the cardock to connect the ID-pin, i don't think the wires inside the dock will let you output the HDMI without problems.
HDMI uses 4pairs of LVDS serial lines to stream video, MHL does that with only one pair (usb +/-) so the datarate must be very high (4x HDMI) to support the 720P resolution. bad cables and bad sheilding will decrease the maximum datarate, and therefor a smooth picture
Is their any way to get the mhl adaptor working with a component cable rather than HDMI? I have tried with an HDMI to component cable but this does not trigger the Sensation to turn on TV Output, only the HDMI cable triggers the TV output. Reason being that not all TV's have HDMI and i have a great idea to rig up the phone to my car stereo screen so i can view google maps, rather than balance my phone on the dash. Perhaps a hack exists to manually turn on TV Output?
Perhaps a way to manually turn on the TV out on the phone would force it to work?
No, HDMI = digital, component = analog, so you'll need another converter box after the mhl that not only converts digital to analog, but can seperate the signal into a component type output.
