[Q] Audio over USB ?? - Samsung Infuse 4G

Hi guys,
Is it possible to have audio over usb on Infuse 4G?
The HDMI adapter works halfway (it needs external power).
My goal is to connect my phone to my stereo and charge it with single usb cable.
I am iPhone user and I have a single cable for charging and audio for it.
I don't have bluetooth on my stereo, so my only option is AUX.
Please, advise!

try xcaliburinhand's and ytt3r's dock sound redirector. the home dock does this and so does the car dock but only with the respective desk home and car home app or dock sound redirector from the market. you may need to simulate the dock with a resistor between 2 pins. i have to look up which ones and the resistor value needed.

Car dock with HDMI Passthrough?

I have my sensation in my car with a modified dock and its working great but I have a Pioneer LCD in my car and would love to output my sensation to the screen - So, my question - Is there a dock that will give me power and HDMI at the same time?
If I connect the MHL connector to the back of the dock, I get power but it will not output HDMI - it may be as easy as modifying the connector - but I dont have the information needed to know what needs to be done...
Any ideas?
The connector from the car dock is probably not fully wired (eg not all 5pins connected)
Inside the cardock there is a resitor connected to the phone's ID-pin, this pin should be wired to the usb output instead of the resistor.
Even if you manage to mod the cardock to connect the ID-pin, i don't think the wires inside the dock will let you output the HDMI without problems.
HDMI uses 4pairs of LVDS serial lines to stream video, MHL does that with only one pair (usb +/-) so the datarate must be very high (4x HDMI) to support the 720P resolution. bad cables and bad sheilding will decrease the maximum datarate, and therefor a smooth picture

[Q] Need help connectinb mulitiple usb devices to my Kindle Fire 1st gen

So I got micro to usb adapter and I already use a keyboard on it. However, to connect more than one device I read that I need a powered usb hub. Is this true? And also, because the mic only works with a headphone/mic jack, could i plug an external soundcard into my adapter and then plug a standard headset with a mic cord and a headphone cord in and use it?
What do I need to do to get all these to work on my fire?
1) Mulitple usb devices connected and working
2) A regular headset with a seperate mic and headphone jack
3) A mouse for my Fire
4) A bluetooth usb dongle to enable bluetooth
5) A webcab for skype.
6) A usb drive for extra memory
And I almost forgot to say I got it rooted, if that makes a difference.

GROM USB Audio out works with my Verizon Note 4. Kinda.

So I just purchased a GROM Audio Honda Acura 03+ USB Android iPod Bluetooth AUX adapter( SKU: HON1U3 )
http://www.gromaudio.com/store/usb_...uetooth_adapter_direct_digital_interface.html
With both the Bluetooth and USB AUX adapter it came to a pricey $229.96. What I got for that price is:
Bluetooth media and headphone profiles
USB out via AALinQ Car Music Player
OK Google Hotword still works
Con's:
You have to load your media into the AALinQ application to get it to play via USB, that means no Google Play music over USB, and all system sounds aren't automatically sent to the USB audio like with the Note 3 and previous Galaxy devices.
You don't get track titles etc via Bluetooth at least with my Note 4 on my '08 Acura MDX and the GROM connected to my XM 2 Sat input on the stock head unit.
I'm getting a weird slight crackle when audio stops and starts playing via Bluetooth, I think this is because the Grom adapter is connecting and disconnecting USB audio to the head unit, I got the same crackle when connecting my MHL USB audio connector when the car head unit was on.
Pro's:
The nice thing is that unlike a dedicated MHL USB connector which is the other way to get USB audio out on the Note 4 you aren't blocking your microphone while connected
You are charging. which I hadn't got working with USB to MHL.
Just thought this might be useful to those of us who don't have A2DP built into our car stereo's. GROM is compatible with hundreds and hundreds of vehicles, just use the Browse by auto make selector at http://www.gromaudio.com/index.html
I don't work for GROM, I paid for my unit myself, wanted to share what worked for me in case it helps one of you.
Oh and according to their FAQ the charge you're getting is 1A 5V http://www.gromaudio.com/support/usb-faq.html

Dock Audio?

So I have a car dock that I used up until now with my S4 to play music etc over the USB.
Now I have an S6 and I can't find any option to route the audio via USB when docked? I have no accessories menu anymore?
Any help appreciated!
Any luck on this? I have s4 with dock cable to run audio out micro-usb to my car aux jack.
