I've searched and searched... Is there anyway to enable the onscreen navigation keys (Navbar) on rooted nougat TW ROMs?
edit:
Adding the following to build.prop does work (despite the many who have stated that it does not).
Code:
qemu.hw.mainkeys=0

Hi All
i recently decided to install and try out MIUI on my Nexus 5. So far im liking it but the only thing that irks me out is the softkeys
Currently MIUI has the 4 softkeys at the bottom (Menu, Back, Home, Opened Apps) and i want to change the softkeys so that they resemble the ones found in AOSP/Stock Android
So
1) How would i be able to invert the home and opened apps softkey
2) How do i remove the menu button
3) How do i increase the transparency of the softkey bar
I never used MIUI but it seems you need WSM tools to be able to use Xposed framework.
Then install XBlasttools, Softkey Navbar and so on... You can also remap the buttons through Gravitybox I think.
More details here.
I activated the navigational by editing build.prop. But, I realised that the keys are not styled like Lollipop (Refer screenshot) Any way to change the keys to look like lollipop?
Any help is appreciated.
Have a look at the following app
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.janis605.softkeyz&hl=en
Already tried it. Doesnt change the keys after applying and reboot
please can you tell me how to enable mtlulti functions of soft navigation bar keys
for example enabling screenshot byvlong press or killing apps by long press back key?????
it is like that in gravity box and dynamic navabar apk but graviry box changes other phone tweaks with it ,that's why I can't use
csn you tell me how to modify navigation bar keys to take screenshot??
I can't live without LMT Launcher. With Marshmallow, Xposed modules can disable the navigation bar/soft keys/on screen buttons so LMT Launcher can be activated from the bottom. Is there a way to disable them in Nougat? I will have root.
Conventional methods aren't working, neither gravitybox, nor editing the build.Prop seems to do anything. Navigation keys are enabled through twrp so there has to be a method to enable it through stock ROM.
I found the answer, if you have xposed-magisk flashed, just install xposed edge, preferences, then scroll all the way down to forced enable navigation bar.
